I am not sure whether to save up to open the harbor or to go ahead and open anacondas? Any thoughts?
I could also open either papaya or the Jacote tree, I could open all three for the GBs it takes to open the harbor, but I have several flowers (8) that I can put on shipwreck , freeing up some crop/animal space. I am sort of stuck on farmers quests that earn BEP, though. I need anacondas or other items to finish the active quest levels.

As a bonus, if I open the chamber fort he harbor, then I will also have cactus open, letting me finish the first level of the new quest. Basically, I just want what will give me the most BEP, but my brain is not functioning well enough right now to think it out.

I would say shipwreck bay is worth opening :D But, make sure you have all the required crops/trees/animals for the first quest, otherwise there is no point. I think you need (better check the FAQ):
sugarcane, bananas, pineapples, kiwis, chilies, parrots, papayas, aloe vera, parrot feathers and sloths.

Thanks Mir, I did look at the requirements. That is part of why I am asking now, because I have a ways to go to earn everything, but also a ways to go to get enough golden bananas. I am not a hoarder of bananas, not yet anyway.

I am glad you mentioned papaya, though.. the first time I looked, I missed them. Looks as though I do have to pen them, at least, before the harbor.

I think yes, woody, if you consider doing FSQ a lot of these crops and fruits are required, and you gain BEP by doing these quests, but by opening the bay, there will be a series of quests (5 in total), that requires a lot of trees and crops and you can't see the requirements of the other quest until you finish the first and so, it is hard to tell which is better to open first, I did both, a little bit here and a bit there, you can't open all the bay with out those trees and crops, so why not open the first part then see what you need and try to open it next, and in the same time you can use what you have of ep givers, the choice is up to you and what ever you do will lead you to level up more, either way.

Actually, the requirements are listed here: https://board-en.farmerama.com/inde...sts-requirements-rewards.449/page-3#post-4310
(in the Farmer society quest thread, in case I did not correctly copy it all)

Ironically, I think I have everything I need to open the second and third bays, each, after doing the first. Since I just opened papaya, I have enough to finish all 3 when I open the chamber. The only thing I need for the fourth chamber is Jacote fruit, something I have been thinking to open right after the bay anyway. It is a LOT of each item, but doable for me. The issue will be getting enough golden bananas to open the harbor.

Opening the fifth chamber will take more statues. I need camels (which means anacondas first,) and coffee at least, maybe other items.

I need anaconda to finish opening Gala, but as of now, it looks like I am better off waiting and opening shipwreck first. In the process of doing the 3 first shipwreck quests, I should be a long way toward opening the rest of those chambers I need for the final step.

Ship wreck is definitely a good strategy, but as others say make sure you have the required resources unlocked. Having recently unlocked the final area of shipwreck, with careful placement of EP givers I find I get enough BEP to level up 2-3 times a month.
I now have over 200 GBs, but want to complete a few more FSQs (and wait for the reef) before opening any more crops / trees as I simply don't have the room to grow any more crops so am not going to strat any further FSQs. I managed to complete coconut couture last week and am currently on level 7 of chopstick upcycling.
Also concentrating on animals on the island means I have to spend a lot of time crowing / milling crops for feed.

I rarely raise anacondas, as the feed requirements are so high and most of my chickens / rabbits are used for breeding quests. To buy chickens/rabbits or anaconda feed is almost as expensive as simply buying anacondas at market, but of course unless you have them unlocked cannot even buy them.

I have Changed My Bahmarama Strategy, Lately Due to New Quest Called Castles In The Sand Quest. It had made all Island Animals except Parrots Prices gone up in price, Also the High End Price of Crops and Fruits too. As I was filling Bahm Farm House Orders. I was doing Van Ramme and Tiger Dodd most of time all of it but now just do crops only.

I have added Sunrise Sunset Bahm EP Giver to My Shipwreck it now stands at 75% Full of Bahm EP Givers. The Latest Renzo Event will offer us a Scorched Tub as it is a Bahm EP Giver. Debating weather to get that or not add this to My Shipwreck.

I Do have some Quests to Do that gives me Bahm EP, Need to Think over to Do some of Castle in the Sand Quest. Firstly Need to Unlock Green Tea in the Temple then do Totally Tea Quest then Unlock Lemon Grass work on Level 3 Castles in the Sand Quest. We see how it goes.

I am Trying to Complete What a Relief Quest as it gives 20% More EP on Island Trees. :p

Hi, I'm trying to get together a list of decorations that will give either ep or bep, depending on where they're placed. Does anyone want to contribute? So far I'm at Elephetti, Pogo Scarecrow, Chamele-off. There may be others in cloud rows, but mine are all running at the moment so I can't check I hadn't realised some items could give either kind of exp (duh!) and wonder if maybe others haven't twigged either.. Anyway, a list would be useful to many, I think, in case they've got parks fulla potential bep givers.. xxx

That is great betty :) I will add some another time, but I don't think the Slime punch item gives BEP, mine is showing EP on shipwreck bay.

If you have spare space on shipwreck you can always ask neighbours to send Wilson's - every little helps!

Sunshine Moonlight was in a cloud row with Sunrise Sunset, that gives 2500 BEP total. By itself, SM gives 1600 BEP every 9 hours. So better to place it on shipwreck! And pop SS on your park and get the 850ep/11hrs from that as a bonus. I think it'd only make sense to use the cloud row if you were short of space elsewhere.. Hmmm, gonna check my other cloud rows when I can - it seems they're not always better!

Hi Betty127.....Some Themed Cloud Rows has Bahm EP Givers that are actually Better off in the Ship Wreck. Which I have Done for Quiet a While. Some of My Cloud Rows cannot be activated as some of clouds are greyed out while they are in my shipwreck. The Advantage of leaving them in Ship Wreck can get more Bahm EP for them using Pets and Buffs Which has no Effect on The Cloud Rows ok

I will Put a List of All Bahm Givers Here shortly some of them are old Bahm EP Givers, Some of Them are Special Bahm EP Items, The Rest of Them are unlocked from Previous Events Which can Trade or Gift from Barter and Gift Event. There are some Bahm EP Givers we could not get at Recent Barter and Gift Event.

I am one of those Farmer who got Shipwreck now Full of Bahm EP Givers. It Takes a Fair while to build up these Bahm EP Givers for the Shipwreck. Some of these Cloud Rows that Gives Bahm EP does takes a while to Reactivate. Neatly all Bahm EP Givers in Shipwreck can be harvested for 24 Hour or Less The Shortest Time Bahm EP Giver is Coffee Party only 4 Hours.

There is Cloud Row that Reduces the Bahm Givers in the Shipwreck by 10%. Also Another Cloud Row gives 10% More EP on All EP Givers. :)

    Picking up this piece.

Without disagreeing with the above at all, I want to emphasize how much these equations change over time and depend on your own personal farming style.

Initially, I did like most people and grew crops, opened up what I could. Then I got parrots and grew them to fill quests, moderately thereafter. At some point, I realized that the return for parrots outstripped the return for crops. I was pretty late to discover the advantages of red punch, but once I did, and once I started having orange panda and monkey pens.. my whole farm changed.

The animals all give more BEP than crops (even when not orange or yellow!), at least until you get pretty far up on the crops list. More importantly, they can be sold for much, much higher prices. I mostly grow animals and trees. I keep one of each type, plus more of the "high priced rare trees" (things like amherstia and parrot feathers). I then try to keep a basic level of each item... it has changed over time. Now I am trying to keep 120 trees, 100 of each animal and 200 of each crop. This gives me enough to fill farm orders that are worth filling. I get some BEP there.. (this thread actually opened my eyes up on that!)

I sell or donate (to the trophies) my excess. I use the profits to buy red punch, chocolate pancakes (rarely cost-effective in my market, but that varies) and Mango-Orange Smoothies (usually these are the best bet in my market, but again.. that varies). Remember that CP gives less than 3 times a red punch, MOS gives exactly the same EP as 3 red punch. However, if you are buying in quantities, you will only get a few for those low prices. This is where the market can really be a bonus. I see them as more or less "extra" BEP.. but again, this is just one idea.

I almost never grow crops any more... other than a piddly amount "just because" (fill in excess corners where I don't have trees, mostly), or to fill a specific quest quickly (or because I feel like it). Mostly, I sell the animals and buy the crops. I am in the habit of buying 100 of each under $100CC every day. I still wind up buying a fair amount for quests, to make artisan products, etc.

In addition to animals, I would say that if you are able to buy pets.. do so. They cost BB, but really do pay off.

PS.. I did open Anacondas and camel breeding both, along with shipwreck and I just opened Jacota fruit and even cactus. I completed a whole bunch of quests, including Shipwreck 1-3, Opening Gala II, Theme party. In large part, it was due to selling animals (not just Baha animals) and the recent baha-yielding events, but also to finishing a couple "soup and friends" levels. (bees and cows). A couple of other "regular" item quests offer BEP. I am more or less averaging 1 level a day, sometimes 2 or more. (so glad to be done with growing Anacondas.. I dislike snakes!)

Shipwreck is definitely worth opening, but sadly, it is pretty far along in the chambers... seems like not much left to open, now

Ok, just a what works question,

I have thought to start saving GB as all I read says I will need them down the road.
With the feed the bat quest I got a good bunch of GB in storage. So all is good.
Well as I found with this land, nothing is as easy as a plan, I now found myself in a fork.
I am trying to get through a list I made, I am going to jams, and one of the crops needed is bell peppers, I after going blind to find them, see that they are 6th chamber on the island, why who knows but there they are. I am on the 3rd chamber, so my question is can you open a chamber down the row without opening the in between ones?

I want to fill the quests I have now on chamber 3 before just opening the next, but a jam needs bell pepper and the next chamber after that will open more land.
And I found, if you open it quest will come....
I will need to do those 2 chambers of quests on top of finishing chamber 3, I want to get all fruits and crops quest empty and in storage to the sum of a few 1000's of food items.

But what I worry about if I can don't know yet, open a chamber by skipping a few will the fruit/crops I skip suddenly pop up as things I need to finish quests or because I haven't open them, will they stay away till I open them?
I am so glad I someone understands where I am. o_O

You will have to open chambers 4 and 5 to then be able to open chamber 6. (Sorry.) I'm not sure what else you are asking. Maybe someone else can help there.

I am a bit confused, what is this jam you are talking about that needs bell peppers?

One thing about the quests and the sequence of crops/fruits. They don't always fit very well. The reason is that bahamarama was restructured a couple of years ago and the monkey temple was introduced. Before it was like on the farm, when you leveled up you got a new crop/tree/animal. Therefore some of the older FSQ seem very strange, you can start them, but suddenly you need a crop that is in a far away chamber. It is better to follow the sequence of the opening gala quests, they are new quests that make more sense.

Maybe I can answer some of your questions too :p

No, if you are in chamber 3 you cannot open chamber 6 directly, you first have to open chamber 4 and 5 (as CaliChrome already said :)). But you don't have to open all the statues in chamber 4 and 5.

To get the 4th field you don't have to do a quest, it is enough to open the statue :) To get to shipwreck bay on the other hand you will need to do quests after opening the harbor statue in chamber 7.

    Ahhh, ok.

The jam is Obatzda, says it increases a chance of a drop of sugar by 10% sounds like it would be a jam that others would buy at market along with pumpkin level 1, and pink jelly and this Obatzda at level 2.
Aiming for making CAC but have to get to level 4 for my goal.

Ok, best to do the chamber as I go, read were someone was going to just open all the chambers and go back and get the goodies, figured this sort of like the pepper thinking.

Thank-you both, I will just go and do as they come, I am leaving the animal things alone, breeding basically, I got elephants and parrot and monkey but no room to have on land with crops, in time it seems.
