Hmmm....I don't have any idea??? But it looks like a giant wave...and is the color blue...much like your beautiful siggy.

 

I know it, but only because I plan on going to one of the events. I don't want to give it away too soon. I can add Explore, Rescue, Protect.

 

Rescue, Protect...... that let's me think of green peace. But, that is probably wrong.

So, some kind of cruise ship maybe? Doesn't look like Disney or Viking. I need to watch more commercials.

 

Are we finally getting the coral reef?

 

Coral reef... what is that?? I heard rumors of a place like that before, but it was so long ago I think I forgot to remember that it was supposed to happen!!

When I saw the picture above, I couldn't resist filling in the blanks... I think that we must be having a party!!! I so love the invitations!!



What a perfect way to bring all of us English speakers together!! We live all over the world, often separated by oceans (sometimes by oceans of thought if not actual oceans) But anyway... it's now SPRING!!! What a perfect time for a barbeque!!

I will provide the chicken and steak and open up my garden for those who want to help make kabobs!! Who else is willing to bring a dish or two or open up their farm for a nice big get-together?? We could even grab some boogie and surf boards, some tiki torches and a volleyball net... plus have a sandcastle building contest and invite the family too. What is more fun than bringing the kids and grandkids, chase them around for a bit and then sit over wonderful food and drink while watching them frolic and have fun!! I say let's go for it... Let's party!!!

Oh yes, CJAT!!! I adore a virtual conga line!!!.....cha cha bump! I'm currently watching DWTS...so I'm in the mood for salsa dancing too! With this warm weather...a BBQ sounds perfect!!! I'll bring some "grass fed" beef...steaks and some of my hubby's salsa and guacamole!
hmmmmm..........what should we have for dessert???

 

Brooke how about some homemade ice-cream? My sisters recipe for Key Lime sorbet is quite good too, and may be just what we need after some of your hubby's delicious salsa! After all the stress of my farming as late, I need a wonderful outdoor trip away (so CJAT I guess I wouldn't make the best host for this event...BUT maybe next time?) DO NOT forget me with any updates or changes...and let me know if anyone needs salsa lessons.

@Brooke ~ I figured a conga line would be easier to start than a limbo line! I have trouble doing the limbo... although it is fun to watch kids doing it... some are great at it and others try and try... and last minute duck under lol!

@farmerlilly~ enjoy your time off! All my updates are currently in the Infamous LastPost - we have had lots of parties there before so maybe someone will start the barbecue there (or open a different thread for it so more farmers know about it).

A long, long time ago when our lovely teddy.bear decided to become a mod, BP was issuing wages in the form of steaks. (I hear from the bats that it was a very, very brief and experimental incentive period - as my understanding is that all our dear mods are unpaid volunteers who love the game). Teddy, being a bear, was quite happy with this, but she already had several fields of cow pens at her disposal. As a result, she negotiated with BP to provide her with a better solution... a gold plated bathtub full of chocolates!! Of course, once she joined the team, she was stricken with horror that no one else had a gold-plated bathtub full of chocolates... or any other incentive! So she quickly solved the problem by shared them with the team. Long story short... the chocolates quickly disappeared! (How do you think Shooger got her name??)


A few years later someone at bigpoint asked teddy if she had a use for the beautiful gold bathtub being used to hold an assortment of potted plants in the mod cave. Teddy graciously donated the bathtub, BP painted it bright yellow and told teddy that she could use it for a submarine at the new coral reef once it opens.

As you can see, the welders at BP are quite handy... no one would ever know that the submarine in the corner was once a gold-plated bathtub!!

So who is coordinating and hosting that World Day barbeque?? Someone just start it - as "if you build it, they will come." I myself have gotta run... get ready for work, and get some stuff done before I head out the door to boot!

The Parents Day Cloud Row will be giving us 10 x Mandragora so I am Guessing This is Drop Items for up coming Coral Reef. So The upcoming Events in May Including Pandas Vacation Layer Event is also related to Coral Reef. Also World Ocean Themed Event too.

 

I am quite sure mandragora = mandrake (for the alchemist) so nothing to do with the coral reef

Mandragora comes from Latin, it refers to "Mandrake."

 

usually, I would have said, the drops are sand buckets or sand toys. But the clues don't fit with it.
So, maybe it is a beach party. The bathtub is filled with ice and drinks (non alcoholic), the steaks are sizzling over the fire and good looking waiters get good wages to serve the party goers.

World Oceans Day is June 8, so maybe Coral Reef is coming the start of June? That would be lovely, I could get home from vacation just in time to take a trip to Baha.

 

I didn't know there was such holiday. Do also mermainds celebrate that day?

 

It seems that this event will be like an introduction of the coral reef.
There will be new plants. However I won't tell you their names until you figure out the drop item name(evil laugh)
