Newbie observation

Can anyone tell me (I have search through possible threads, but no luck) if there is a list somewhere of what each craft item (buffs) does? I keep going to he market and laboriously going through each page, item after item, to find something suitable (like one that speeds up harvest), and my eyes are going Thanks

 

I am miserable at linking, but, there are lists. When you find the pages about the trades (I think one is called Become a Confectioner)and it shows what can be made and what it does.

 

Here the newest spa products are not included, otherwise I think they are all there

just wondering if you guys still making bb from cinema?
when i first started was making on average 3bb a day, now i am very lucky to make 1 bb a day. always no video available. im in toronto, withing 8 hr drive there is a population of 30 million people, this is including new york. is the north american market that bad for farmerama? maybe because im on the wrong side of the border. maybe the higher you level up the less movies are available for you?

 

In Florida here and I still make 3-4 BB per day at the cinema. Some days are better than others and sometimes evenings and better than mornings, but I check both times if I run short in the mornings. Reset is 6 PM here, so probably 3 PM your time. I would check after reset if you do not do any good in the morning hours.

im logged in quite a bit and easily try 20-30 times a day all hours. florida is same time zone, except for western tip so 6pm also.
looks like i must be on the wrong side of the border then. maybe bp doesnt realize that 90% of all advertising in canada comes from the states. canada doesnt even have a flag in the game.

 

I very seldom have videos in the theater either and I'm in the States. Often even if I do have an offer it's the same one so I have to watch it multiple times to earn a few BB's. Don't think it's just Canada on this one.

 

yeah, the theater is a bust for me, too. I think it's because there are not very many people in MT, so they figure why bother since there's probably about 10 Montanans (if BP is lucky) playing at any given point in time.

and, Meba091...you are correct. And, often I do sell a Kiwi or two and then purchase their feed. I've not been milling PF since the free mill subscription ran out, but I milled it right up to the bitter end of that. Anyway, I've been trying to get stocked up on 'regular' feeds for my animal pens.

On another matter - the event: I have all the crops I need but I am 280 magnifying glasses short of completing the final 2 tasks in the quest. I tried planting short grow crops (lettuce, etc) but I only get 1 or none when I harvest. Any advice on how to get so many drop items in the short time remaining?

 

Grow your longer crops to get better drops and post in the SOS thread. However, with the short time remaining I'm not sure you can get that many.

 

Then I am sorry I have been told that bigfish doesn't allow commercials, so you will not be able to see any movies on your farm

Again I am sorry but 280 drops is too much in less than 24 hours The only way to make it is to use super grow. If you do, make sure to first use a white innocence and maybe a fruit cake. Then plant long crops on 2x2 plots and use water + super grow. But you should consider carefully if it is worth it.

After reading the FAQ on the San Gigantica Express I'm wondering if there is any advice on the best approach. I know I read something a few days ago but can't seem to find it now. Didn't find a strategy thread either although it is possible that I'm blind and simply overlooked it.

Seems to me I have to decide on what to give up in order to perhaps get something better, and it's the only way to get a butterfly workshop for now. Maybe it will make more sense when I see it in action. Do you only get one stable though when you have given up many? That seems like you should be guaranteed to get something much better not just a possible upgrade.

Other than the butterfly aspect of it, is it worth it? I guess if you buy the stable package and get a bunch of stuff you already have you could use them on the train to try to get something better.
