Strategy: Farm express

There are 6 seats for pens now. Or they were always 6?

 

Arielh there were always six seats for the pens.

The significant differences from the previous Farm Express events are:
1. We have a fixed exchange value (1250) which is quite high while previously we had more options with considerably smaller values,
2. This event is a 4 day marathon while previously we ran a 24 hour sprint,
3. In this event we can give workshops in while previously it was only stables,
4. .. and the stables we can win are slightly different. No jumbo stables but we can get some workshops this time.

I would suggest that anyone should go only until the point he or she feels happy to hand out stables and workshops.
The moment you feel uncomfortable handing out valuable stables stop.
In four days you can easily wreck your stable reservoir and hand out things you will regret later.. or even the moment they leave with the train.

Plus a little tip....
"Castles in the sand" farm quest hands out quite a few orange panda chopstick factories. For the trade in value we will have to wait for the event to start.

 

The Last Gigantica Express Event you could win Jumbo Stables such as Jumbo Goat,Jumbo Horse or Jumbo Pig Stable, or Can Win either the Yellow or Orange Upgraded Version of these Stables.

But These Jumbo Stables Only Produce Breeding Animals Base Breeding Animals of Either Speckled Goat, Brown Pig or Halflingers Which can be Brought from the Markets Very Cheap. It Makes no Sense to Grow These as They Take So long to Grow, Which is not rewarding or Effective at all Really.

What New about Gigantica Express Event, That There is a New Feature Called Luxury Cargo Which Needs Combination of 1250 Stables Trade Value which you can Either Win;

The Luxury Cargo can turn into:

• Yellow or Orange Stables
• Classic I or II Stables
• Red or Pink Stables (if you are very lucky)
• Workshops
• Yellow or Orange Workshop Upgrades
• Dog Kennel
• Orange Dog Kennel
• Music Hall (Moose Workshop)
• Textile Mill (Squirrel Workshop)
• Top Reward is Butterfly Workshop Perfumery

The Butterfly Workshop Perfumery Produces a New Product Called Shimmery Power as you Need At Least 10 of These to be able to unlock Tour De Farm II Quest !!!

But The Downside to This Event you cannot Donate any kind of Workshop or any Pink or Red Stables of any kind. If you Win any Kind of Workshop from Gigantica Express Train or Red or Pink Stable you cannot Put it Back on The Train. To Hope to Win something Better !!!

The Jumbo Horse Stable is Worth 1250 this on it own is Enough to go for Luxury Cargo Reward. So I will be getting Rid of my barn of Jumbo Stables that are no use to me. If I win any Jumbo Stables I simply put it back on Gigantica Express Train. Then Try as Many Luxury Cargo as I can.

The Best Rewards from Luxury Cargo are:

• Butterfly Workshop Perfumery
• Pink Stables
• Red Stables

Good Thing with Luxury Cargo you Cannot Win Any Jumbo Stables. But if you Go for Cargo A or B or C you you cannot Win any of These listed Below

• Red or Pink Stables (if you are very lucky)

• Yellow or Orange Workshop Upgrades
• Dog Kennel

So one of Good Tips is to go for Cargo A, B or C First to Win any Kind of Jumbo Horse Stable after you have Grown The Wonder Stable after 5 Hours. Then Put it Back on The Gigantica Express Train to Win a Luxury Cargo Prize Good Luck

 

Just a small correction, as this Farm express is slightly different
1. You cannot go for Cargo A, B or C.... There is only one cargo value, the Luxury Cargo which is 1250.
2. You can trade in workshops and their yellow and orange upgrades

I don't know if this will be the new standard for Farm express or if we will have a larger variety of events.

 

I shall keep trying until I have 1 or 2 of these butterfly workshops, I have a lot to throw on the train, even if I don't have, the CC is not a problem to me, but these work shops if we did not get them now who knows when we could get them again, that happened with the Moose music hall and it took me over a year to get 1, and here it is still alone.

 

Reading over again the descriptions in the Greek form in the farm express it is described that we can hand in all stables, workshops and their upgrades.
It is not clarified anywhere or in any posts that it refers only to yellow and orange upgrades.

So, possibly this Farm Express is radically different than the Gigantica express.
Let's wait until it starts and we can clarify all these items.

I am very torn in what to think about this express. I love the trans seedlantic express and really like the San Gigantica express. But that is because I can buy trees/stables for CC and work my way up to something better. Here it seems like you will have to part with something valuable, and for what I am not sure. I will be be paying attention when people start to post their results. I already have most of the good things that are offered: Orange dog kennel, moose music hall and textile mill. Of course red or pink stables would be great, but what are the chances. I would like to get the new perfumery, but I can always buy shimmery powder in the market. I can get a lot of shimmery powder for 353k CC which was the example I put in my first post. And my magical glade is already crowded. I probably will try a few, don't think I can resist. I have some Jumbo stables I don't need and those give good value If we had a normal San Gigantica at the same time, things would look very different.

So much for waiting and seeing

 

I think I may be sitting this one out. I do not have enough of the stables or workshops with value to send them off.

 

Me neither. There is not really much to get rid off. And buying the needed stables would be even more expensive here as I don't have the stables unlocked yet that Mir mentioned.

 

Good news: Workshops can be put on the train

Basic workshops are worth 150 points
Yellow workshops are worth 170 points

Let us see if we can do something with that! I have lots of both that I wouldn't mind getting rid of

Carpet factory are worth 260

 

rare pens are worth 410. If you have tons of them, that would be the best bet. Unupgraded pens of any type, including Baha ones don't seem to offer enough to do it.

I am making one try, because I have way too many cat and dove pens, but that is it. I would like a perfumery, but its a lot to give up just for the chance.

Interesting (to me) that red bat roosts are worth less than yellow. Wonder why?

I'm sitting this one out...don't have enough of the "good stuff".......and then the horror of emptying my Inventory just to get that which I have already......I wish they had the normal San Gigantica at the same time...

 

Did a quick count: I have 100 basic workshops I don't need and 37 yellow ones

Now I just need to figure out how to best use them
