Feedback: Mini Events

Really enjoyed Gift&Trade event. Was my first one and managed to get hold of nearly one of all the items I was after (as well as some others that I didn't even know existed e.g cow's milk trees).
I also think having Renzo's Fair at the same time as G&T was overdoing it. I didn't get chance to have a go as was far too busy on G&T.
And yes scrolling through all the offers was rather tedious and I'm presuming we were only allowed to make 5 offers at a time due to the endless lists of offers not being even longer!

 

Thanks for bringing up the Gift&Trade event. It was very welcomed, as the last one was quite a while ago, even though it was the old version. Glad you brought it up even though it's not reworked yet.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing a Mill Subscription Sale soon.

Thank you for Rebuild Nepal cloud row sale, It happened that in my work there are a lot of Nepali people working and they are all poor, and you can see the impact of the disaster on there faces, it is a way to help them no matter how small is the amount, and the cloud raw is very nice, and much better than many cloud rows that been introduced lately, it is one of the best BEP givers cloud rows in the game.

 

I'm hoping the BigFish partner issue will be solved soon so that I will be able to purchase the Rebuild Nepal cloud row. It is especially important now that a second quake has happened.

Farm Express Likes:
Opportunity for new and rare workshops and pink upgrades
Can trade in workshops

Dislikes:
The values of trade ins for workshops/normal farm pens are too low as it requires high upgrades or rare pens

Windows should be increased from 6

Just like the results from wonder stables that are unbalanced when we use BB to get a yellow (CC) item back, this is unbalanced in that I have filled the windows with 6 items making a 1250 donation to get back the same item I just donated worth 190. When that happens more often than not, I have nothing left with which to trade. That does not make for a fun event.

 

The reason I like the San Gigantica express and the trans seedlantic express is that I can start with yellow stables/xl trees and work my way up to something better. Then I think it is fair that the result also can be yellow/xl.

But with this express you have to give away something valuable. To then get a yellow stable or workshop in return is very frustrating. I guess the intention is that we should buy wonder stables and put the ones we don't like to much on the train. Well, I am not doing that if I am likely to get a yellow stable back (not to mention that the wonder stables themselves give yellow stables again).

The good thing is that the workshops can be put on the train. Firstly because otherwise the requirements would be completely unreasonable, and secondly because it finally gives us something to do with all the workshops we have been getting from the farm wheel and wonder stables lately. Even so, I think I might be don with this event (still 2 left to harvest). It has not been a big success here.

What I would really really like is to see the Trans seedlantic express again it has been over a year.

 

Wonder stables - please take the yellow pens out. I find I am less inclined to buy them if there are yellow pens, hence I only bought 10 this time and I used to buy loads! Furthermore, why would I buy stables for a new animal when your current strategy seems to be to introduce them as a prize in future events?
Farm express - I love loading my workshops on, thanks. I love that you can win rare pens and pink pens. I would like to see the removal of yellow anything as a prize. I would also like to see either an increase in the number of windows or yellow pens having greater values so they can actually be recycled (win, win for you because in order to build yellow pens we must breed, which involves PF, hence sales increase) - think outside the box.

 

Farm express feedback

Reading the good results (perfumeries red and pink pens) many players were getting, I was tempted to continue sending more trainloads. From my first 30, the only really good thing I got was a red stable. Then I got two perfumeries from the last 5.

3 really good results out of 35 is okay, I am not unhappy about that. What I am not so happy about is the rest of the results, far too many yellow stables. I like the orange stables, they are far more useful than the yellow ones. It is far less frustrating if you get something useful even if it is not one of the main prizes. They were called luxury cargoes after all, and we had to give up something valuable each time.

 

Farm Wheel Fun Days
I need 3 of the flowers for my cloud row and the party wheel rarely has them. I hope during farm wheel fun days the needed flowers for the cloud row will be on often because it is a VERY important cloud row.

Farm express feedback
I'm very happy for all the players that had great luck with farm express, Congrats to you all. I would also like to be very, very clear that in other feedback I'm not complaining about what I didn't get!
My complaint is with what I DID get, Yellow Egg Farms and Yellow Chicken Coops had no place being on that luxury train, even after a cool down period that opinion will never change.
As an example: If instead of yellow chickens I'd opened Orange Chickens I would have been thrilled (we all have hungry, hungry Anaconda's) and the Orange Chickens would have been more fitting to a luxury train.

Farm Express remains right up there with history's other great train robberies.

 

Love the latest Gift and Trade, glad not to have to wait a year to get this one!

One small improvement I would like to see is to have the quantities of each item listed in the sorted display list. (note... I will post this in the suggestion forum)

 

I would really love G&T if only we could have more Gift Licences. I have so many Merchant Licences that I will never use but one Gift Licence a day is impossible. Even if I were to spend all my BBs to buy Gift Licences, I wouldn't be doing half as much as I wanted to. I know that probably BP is looking for farmers to buy BBs/Licences so I do understand but for me this makes the G&T event a little disappointing.

Edit: It would be great if the licences could be used for whatever we want. Then when we get one of each for logging in, we would actually get three Gift or Exchange or Merchant Licences.

I do a little but I would love to do a lot to help new farmers get going.

 

I love that G n T is more frequent but I would like to be able to gift items to players even if they have not unlocked or at the right level. To me this was a step back not an improvement. I would also like to be able to gift the singing flowers - I have loads of the things.

 

Give and trade feedback:

I've put 5 offers on all of my 13 farms, and only 2 sold. I do hope this will pick up!

I love the event itself. It's great to be able to give away, to trade, and to sell stuff you don't want to keep.

I would still LOVE a proper search function, even though I know that would involve serious work for the developing team.

 

I am also happy Gift and Trade came back again but agree we need more licenses. The Dev's Blog Newsletter for February said that part of the reason that Gift and Trade was delayed was that it was being reworked. So far it looks like it always has. I would love to be able to search better...type in the item we are either offering or wanting and then see the list of potential matches. As it is now, it is very time consuming to scroll through the entire thing looking for something specific. It is also hard on my hands and wrists. Because both Gift and Trade and Renzo are 'clicking intensive' it will force me to choose which event to do as my hands cannot do both. Too bad...I enjoy them both so my preference would be that they do not occur at the same time.

I can not click anymore with my right index finger, using other fingers/ left hand to click.
To find a reasonable offer, i have to click so many times, i wish the sorting or search functionality to be better. And since i could not find anything that i want for anything that i have, it was just way too much exercise for my fingers.
I did not even try Renzo's games.

 

I am so happy Elephetti was finally allowed to be traded. He's sitting in my park, blowing his confetti around and I just love watching him

I really love G and T! It's so nice to be able to gift the items we have extra's of or no longer need....

I've bought gift licences but I've never used my merchant ones lol

Please let us trade for the flowers from the party wheel. I've been trying daily for over a month and the ones I need show up so rarely its very frustrating!!!!
