Strategy: Farm express

congratulations for those that got what they wanted the only thing i'm still missing is a textile mill .... so i guess i'll have to wait and see if i can pick one up at a gift and trade because i think i'm out on things i want to send on the train ....,

 

well. I think I am done. didn't get anything but 1 textile mill that I thought was useful.

I have gotten rid of 2 yellow dogs, all my cow and goat dairies, 2 parrot feather collecting stations, 1 mouse (had 15 of them), 2 moles (had 18 of them), egg farms, made 6 yellow bat roosts to donate, bought several monkeys to donate, and ended up with these:

5 classic beaver II
orange dog
yellow egg farm
textile mill
orange ostrich egg farm

9 tries and only 1 was useful. The beavers went back in, The yellow egg went back in, my dog went back in. I did keep the orange ostrich egg farm but may get rid of it too.

 

Well I snuck off for a late afternoon nap and came back to numbers 13,14 and 15 ready.

I am so jealous JJ, my twelfth one gave a yellow bat guano production

 

Wow JJ, you have been really lucky during this event! I got my 4th textile mill and don't even want to think about it. Still it might be a popular trade if there is another G&T.

 

I used some of the classic beavers I got from the wonder stables to send my first ever train away!! It brought back a perfumery. I'm ecstatic!!!!

 

Sorry Mir (maybe it will be on the 14th ) It would be great if they took all the yellow workshops out of this.

Well, yellow workshops are still better than yellow stables Sent some guano producers on the next train, hope they take the hint and doesn't come back

I have 6 more mystery cargoes (between the 2 farms) left to see if I get the perfumery or textile mill. I have a few odds and ends left but nothing that will amount to 1250 points. I will be done with both the train and wonder stables. A few nice things but overall a mixture of too many yellows and beavers. I have decided not to build any yellow bat roosts to keep trying...the results are not worth depleting my breeding stock and tools.

Ordered over a dozen cargoes, the following are the results I remember:
1 red turkey
1 pink ostrich
3 orange dogs (1 went back on the train)
3 textile mills (might be a useful trade for the next G&T)
some other orange/yellow pens that I don't remember
1 perfumery

I have another 4 cooking, but after that I'm done.

i tried once more to try for a second perfumery or a textile mill .... and got a yellow goat diary so it's time to call it quits

 

This is so bad. I give away a lot of secret stables and orange work shops and I received ..... a yellow turkey!!!!!!!!!! So disappointed. I will never try again.

 

My last cargo load developed and while I didn't get the perfumery I did get a Moose music hall. I'm pretty happy with that as I didn't have one before.

 

nawwww Bygo .... never ever part with stables that are hard to come by no prize is worth that .... only ever part with ones you have excess of ..... my last go i got a slap in the teeth with a yellow goat diary it stopped me trying again real quickly

 

Yes, I know. I ques I really wanted that perfumery . Well, I learned my lesson now

This farm got an Orange Bee - which is okay as I haven't got any coloured Bee pens on either farm but it's still not a Perfumery is it! One more to go then I am definitely going to call it quits.

Illy got a Classic Beaver (II I think) , a Yellow Rodeo Ranch and a Music Hall Moose - again, okay but something new (and preferably smelling nice) would have been nice. Two more to go and Illy will stop before all the good pens go.
