I'm certainly waiting till Friday and the BBD to do any breeding but it is good to know in advance the type of numbers you're going to need. I only have about 300 cuckoos even with the twins that still means I have to either buy or raise some more to be able to complete the quest.

 

Oh my! Decisions.....decisions, I haven't decided yet whether or not I will participate in this event yet or try to make some cc's from it to be stronger for the next events coming up in June. Seems to me, this is a very expensive event and someone with a lot more inventory could do well with it. The cloud row would be delightful, but as this offers no stars I definitely won't complete the event. I will of course have fun on Baby Boom Day, who doesn't love that!! I will just have to watch myself and try not to go overboard on breeding.... once I start the fever sets in! Good luck everyone and have some fun with it.

 

I will wait till BB weekend too. Thankfully I only have to sit on my hands this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon as I am working the next three days. I am off the weekend and intend to do some serious breeding! I think I have nearly finished most of the previous cuckoo quests so will be aiming to do the new one and finish those before I start on the two new permanent quests.

I don't have any Moustache Salons so am going to go back over the previous Cuckoo quests, see what I need to get those and concentrate on those quests/levels first.*
Will the quest starting today become a permanent quest too?

I have about 40,000 Cuckoos, nearly 400 PF and nearly 2000 Pheromones on Illy. This farm is a little lacking: 3,000 Cuckoos, 280 PF and 1,490 Pheromones. Think I should at least finish the new quest on this farm though.
I intend to only breed the base animals for as long as can or until I reach a point where I must breed higher animals.
Now where did I hide those handcuffs?

Edit: * Just found out these were prizes in Comic Event 8 Always Right which for some reason I didn't finish ... probably on my hols somewhere or perhaps a heavy working schedule so how do I get those base Moustachios?

 

Just my 100 cents, most likely not worth a buck.
But after reading the words of seasoned players here, those and not so high but been through it all said to get them breeding runes both of them!
That was the only detour I took from running straight up the star eating tree. I went all out well as much as I could 1st one, and not having those runes really showed me comparing to others results was below the bar.
I will be seeing this time what they can do for me 1st hand, also, no matter what quest I did I never used PF outside BBD, and boy did it build up!

And this one will be too. Will I finish? will I have enough? can I figure it out before I mess up? feel like old time tv show, stay tune next week and see if hunkaberry hound makes the river crossing, if thunder horse makes the ferry before the bad guy gets away....

 

Which breeding runes are you talking about? The ones that give better breeding result is very good to have. Those that give cuckoos can wait...

I will have to breed from scratch as I had donated all I had for the good prices in previous events.
I have a good cache of Cuckoos (72,000) but little PF (+/- 500) and very little time. Friday to Sunday events are not my favourites as I will be AFK from Fri 16:00 (usually) to Sun (when Arsenal usual play).
And for this event I will have to make some sacrifices which are not good for the Devs. I wish such weekend events could just be extended into Monday. In fact, I no longer participate in Mega EP days because of this...

 

You can build the base workshop but will need combs to do it.

 

check the update to the FAQ as stars will now be given, with one exception

 

If you leave out gold and diamond in level 3 you wont get the Egg-celence and the cloud row is useless. You may not use the cloud row now but later on it might come in use when the shipwreck is full.

I tried the comic, I understand the computer picks random what you will need to get all it picked was things I just leveled up to, no time to build them up, so I losses all I put in, will stay away from comics for a while...

I read where others are not going to start the quest till BBD, ok got that get more animals then, can work on crops till then that will work.

Thanks puppiesnponies, I could not find how to get the base Moustachios, now will work on these waiting for BBD seems I will need them, have to reread as I don't remember if perm. workhouse as I thought it said somewhere it will go *poof* at the end....

As Pups as Said for Those who did not get Moustache Saloons From The Comic 8 Event. You will have to Craft Them From The Workshop, But you will need at Least 5 Combs.

It is Stupid for Agent Cuckoo Event you can get 4 Combs not five combs needed to Make a Moustache Salon. Also you can get an Moustache Salon II Orange but cant use it without the Base Production Pen

The Permanent Cuckoo Quests Cannot be Accessed until The Agent Cuckoo Event had Ended. !!!. So we need to build up our Barn of Breeding Cuckoos, While this Event is Running. I will do all the Cuckoo Breeding during BBD. I do not have any Puckoos so need to get any many as i can. I will Browse The Cuckoo Breeding Market Maybe from Tomorrow onwards to Find Bargains. As I like the idea to save me as many Power Feeds as I can. Without Doubt Cuckoos and Fake Moustache will be Higher Price than they are now.

I have 18,000 Cuckoos, 4 Moustache Salons, 2 of those are orange and a lot of lot of PF.

I won't start the quest until Baby Boomer Day starts but I hope to do it all.

 

I can't find the colored cuckoos in the market has anyone else seen them?

 

I was just going to ask the same thing Mir....nope none in the market nor can you offer what you have.

Edit: For those of you who need/want to build the mustache salon workshops, if you have toolboxes from the chicken pet or the cloud row, they are collected as tools in the consumable tab in decorations rather than immediately going to inventory under 'other'. It was asked and confirmed that if you open them after the introduction of a new tool, you may have some in there rather than the painful waiting for them to drop from harvests. Maybe you will be lucky and find some combs in those toolboxes. It is the very reason I have not opened those tools just in case we needed new tools.

I finished comic 8 and was awarded all 4 salons with the 2 upgrades. With the orange upgrade in this event, I doubt I will build any more. Possibly another orange just to have them all on the same harvest time. It will depend on BBD results.

Thanks Pups, I just found them ... but no combs. Now will look to see if I have any toolboxes left to open!

 

I don't think they will be available until after the event when the rest of the quests become permanent.
