Might be, but that is something new if so o_O previously new breeding animals have been available in the market at event start.

Illy has just wandered into the Farmers' Society and donated all the cuckoos left over from the last event and now only needs:

    11 Wabbit Eared Cowkoo
    7 Mustachioed Cuckoo
    2 Punkoos

    This farm now needs:

    14 Wooly-snout Cuckoos
    10 Wabbit Eared Cowkoo
    9 Mustachioed Cuckoo*
    2 Punkoos
    * very annoyed with myself, could have done all silvers but donated some to gold before putting brain in gear!
So less to do for this event and maybe, just maybe make some impact on outstanding and new quests. Wahoo! :D

I also managed to get five, just five, combs on each farm so I have built me a Moustache Salon on both farms - don't know how long they will stay though, needing eight cuckoos a time but I had to have somewhere to put my Orange Moustache Salon when I get it! :inlove:

You can see little pictures of some of the coloured cuckoos if you go to the building building (you know, where you build buildings!). Look cute! xD

Just sold my Builder Cuckoo! Never done that before, usually hang on to all breeding animals from the Tree of Wisdom just in case (of what I have no idea!) but thought, why not? May be a while before I do the Cuckoo quest needing it so ... I asked for the highest possible price and it sold immediately! :D

Now some clever people are going to tell me I should have waited and asked for more ... but I am going to stick my fingers in my ears and take no notice! :wuerg:

Think I have been around Farmer_Broke too long!

Moustache II Orange only reduces the time. It does not give 2 as the other Orange upgrades do.
Its going to take me longer than I originally thought .:(

Orange stables give 2 animals. Orange workshops only give one product. For most workshops you need the pink upgrade to get 2 products (exception: red sheep shearing shed, and red bat guano both give two products) :)

Ok, here be the dumb question of the day.

I tried a normal like comic to see what is would be like -.- it was as fun as a broken tooth while swimming in February.
So, I see two things and I am lost.
The comic I think with the square pumpkins and watermelons,
then the quest that needs cuckoos and breeding.
I read both start today.... ok were are the watermelons?

Yep, that is exactly how fun the comic library is xD

The event with square pumpkins and watermelons (also called the comic #8 event) was about two months ago. We have been referring to the FAQ though, because there was some info on the cuckoo breeding there. Maybe that is how we confused you :p

-.-I will be sooo avoiding comics for a while......I will miss them tree fruits.....

o_OWell, I guess I can stop looking for squared items then.
So, since it makes more sense to wait till BBD to do this quest, I am not forgetting anything? I see two days of not worrying about combs, and hit some quest to get my 75 stars back in the goal of the livin' legion, right? or am I missing the elephant in the kitchen?

    Mir85 <snip> will have stars<snip>

And I am skippie happy I can tell ya, need stars many more stars........
All I can ever think of is that farmer that worked it out how long it will take to get the stars needed without events having stars..-.- I would rather take that swim in feb.

It is good News that This Event Agent Punkoo Quest Gives Stars All The Remain Permanent Cuckoo Quest Give Stars too. I would not advise to sell any Breeding Cuckoos Unlocked From Glade Tree using stars or from Previous Breeding Events. As you would get much for them just yet. Just Wait for Couple of Days. Then The Selling Breeding Cuckoo Market Picks up after BBD had started.

I First will work on Agent Punkoo Quest First since it a short time Quest. Then use my surplus Breeding Cuckoos To Finish off the other Cuckoo Breeding Quests when they become available.

The Cuckoo Breeding Starer Pack costs 75 Stars, It gives you 10 Power Feeds and 20 Woolly Snout Cuckoos. The Builder Cuckoo cost 280 Stars which in my view very very expensive stars. But The Bee Cuckoo costs 70 Stars, if you time it right you could get good CC for it. Or use the Bee Cuckoo to Help you complete The Cuckoo Secrets Quest Level 6

Too late Mooboy - I have sold both and spent the profits already! LOL! Easy come, easy go! :D
See what happens when I combine a day off with the start of an event that I can't properly start till Saturday! xD

I managed to snag an another 1000 cuckoos on the market for about 100 each this morning. I went ahead and spent the stars on the breeding rune to get the 20 wooly ears so I'm feeling better about my chances of finishing this one. Now the wait for BBD begins. ;)

Happy to get the mill subscription as well might actually be able to churn out some additional PF before Friday. Also happy to see the PF being given right up front in the event. I've got a stash but more is always welcome.

Good luck to everyone and may you all get outrageous skips! :D

There are 2 breeding packs available now. The starter one, above and the "Big pack" which, offers only regular cuckoos (along with other items). The big pack is quite "pricey", but might be worthwhile to people who have stars to "burn".
