Tortoise and Shimmery Powder Market Prices

My tortoise are still under 600 for the highest. No shimmery powder being sold right now either.

 

Shimmery Powder at 40,000 on Market 6. I've put a few on and they went pretty much straight away. Can anyone tell me why I can't sell mine for above 40,000? I just used 50 of my precious stars to unlock the market rune so I could sell at a higher price but it only went up by a few thousand and I saw on here someone had said they'd seen them for over 60,000?

 

The market index is based on supply and demand in your market, it is not affected by the price in other markets. The most I can sell for right now is 29k.

 

No shimmery powder here on my market and the most it can be sold for is only 7919...either no one has any or no one is selling! Right now, the 29-40k sounds like a windfall to my market.

 

I've managed to buy another 6 shimmery powder through out the day ranging in price from 10k to 30k. So I've got the 10 I need for the Tour de Farm quest, now I just have to avoid the temptation to sell when the price gets truly outrageous.

 

You all have great markets, still no turtles or powder here, butterflies went down in price here not vary good for waiting on the right price to sell.

 

And, the price on Shimmery Powder will eventually start to level off and then fall. Over night on #9 it has decreased to a low of 29,000 so I suspect that over the next week or so, we'll see it level off in the low 20k's.

Similar price fluctuations and leveling happened with kiwis and platypus when they were first introduced. They went sky high, then leveled off around 30,000. Except for minor fluctuations when a new quest requiring them has been introduced, they've stayed around that price range - up or down a few thousand, but in that range.

Tortoises can now be sold on #9 for just over 1,000CC. I'm going to hold off on selling another one to try and help drive the price up. I have 9 in inventory. When I get to 11, I'll probably sell one. I kind of do the same with kiwi and platy - I sell one about every other time I harvest.

 

10 pages of shimmery powder here on #31 ranging from 39k-70k. no tortoise.

 

Market 39 has shimmer powder now from 24k to 59k - there are 75 offers. I bought mine when it was in the teens. Haven't seen any tortoise yet.

 

Considering the best price I could get for tortoises on my market is 582.75 CCs, it will be a long time before I put any up for sale.

 

I can put them up for 1287CC at the most now. So there must be some farmers listing theirs in order to drive the prices up. Should be higher by now...means that most people (including me) are hoarding theirs for the quest.

 

Shimmery powder now in abundance on my market ranging from 28k to 64k at the moment. Still no tortoise and the highest I can list is 594.

 

Tortoise prices have climbed to 923 for a listing price on my market. I put one up for sale (to further the cause) and it was gone instantly.

 

I'm presuming no-one's sold one on market 6 yet as it's listing price is still a mere 360.45..think we're all holding out on that one still lol. Shimmery Powder however are a plenty and averaging 24,000 atm. I was rather disappointed the price went down so very quickly on mine. I wish people wouldn't make big drops in prices to drag the price down when the sellers could eek it out a bit longer but then if someone wants a quick sale...(and better for the buyers of course, depends which angle you're looking at it from though!)

 

Tortoises go as high as 2198 on #9 now. I sacrificed one this morning - sold in seconds and the price was a smidge over 1900. Shimmery Powder is down to 21,980 now and there are 172 listings. So looks like it still hasn't leveled off and is still dropping. Phooey. I bet it goes under 20,000 before it levels off now.

 

Shimmery Powder now selling for between 20k-46k in my market (20 pages of listings!). No tortoises for sale; listing price is 653cc. I'm saving my turtles!

 

Shimmery powder is now 17k. No tortoise seen yet

 

Don't expect to see tortoises yet. Highest price I can get is 900 CCs. I'm not parting with mine for that. I bought 9 Draco stables in my quest to get my one tortoise stall and I feel I was really lucky. Still 135 BBs spent in quest of that one stall. 900 CCs....

 

No turtles.
Shimmer going down fast high 52,000. now 24,800.
Butterflies down cuckoos down 95.00.
Oh well, this market is rough.
