Strategy: Agent Punkoo

Finished the event on Tuesday. Luckily I got all the colored cuckoos needed. Got a comb from XXL toolbox and built another Moustache salon so I can put the orange upgrades on it.

Today I got another comb from harvesting my farm.

Waiting for BBD to breed cuckoos, turkeys and monkeys to get me some more Howler Monkeys for the Castles in the sand quest. I still need to get 15 out of 25 Howler Monkeys needed.

I have 875 power feeds and 269 stars. But I have to spend a lot of power feeds to complete regular breeding related FSQs and I am saving stars for a long time to open Living Legend rune, no room for this current event, so sad that I am not participating in it

I have been trying to buy up any bargain Coloured Breeding Cuckoos in My Market. Also Selling some Breeding Cuckoos for good price too. I hope to have good splurge of CC over the weekend and get some lucky slips Spend CC completing some quest that helps me level up Bahamarama too.

I am Trying to Guess what previous Cuckoos Levels i did complete in the Past so i know how many breeding cuckoos i need to finish these permanent quest when they become available.

These Cuckoo Prices have not shifted much yet in my market but when BBD Starts it will climb !!!. I am Aiming to Cloud The Cuckoo Cloud Row the one in Secret Cuckoo Quest. The Bahm EP givers in this Quest will goto my Shipwreck instead

 

Having a personal debate over how to set this up. BBD starts at 10am my time. So I can either put out by breeding pens before I go to bed and then wait patiently and harvest them after 10am, lots of down time for the farm this way. Other option is to get up at 5am and put out my breeding pens so they will be ready at 10am, this would save me pheromones and I would not have to start my Pink Jelly till after the BBD begins.

Of course I could just get up at the normal time use the PJ and pheromones and be ready for 10am but that seems somewhat wasteful. Seems getting up at a ridiculous hour to set up a game appeals to my inner child. When's the next FOCD meeting cause I think I need help.

 

Pink jelly is cheap, don't worry about wasting that

 

I don't have to have your debate Clash as I pretty much get up around 5 am everyday anyway. Life on a real farm usually does start before sunrise. It's the staying up late ones like MM that almost kill me.

 

I only need 2 Punkoos to finish this event. I had already finished the old cuckoo quests so I am hoping to be able to make some CC's when BBD starts . So far market pickings are pretty slim on my market. I'm getting combs with harvesting so hopefully they won't be a problem for anyone.

I had most of the requirements, the few I did not have did not take long to breed, so was done with this quest very fast. Not attempting it on my other farm, because I do not have enough resources over there.

 

On Illy, I have just been buying up some wabbit ears from the market so will save time and PF over the weekend. No Moustachios on the market yet so can't get the final cloud item. I needed 7 Moustachios - Cloud Row in place and filled and 2 Moustachios to finish the FSQ!

This farm isn't as rich (LOL) as Illy (was) so will have to do it the hard way. Still, I do love the breeding - all those little surprises!

And relax - finished quest on Illy. Now just need to concentrate on getting enough to finish the older quests! Wish I knew what I needed but it will be fun guessing! LOL!

I did breed a few wooly snouts prior to BB day, but only a few (4, I believe, to be exact), then I realized that the event was long enough that I had no rush.

Anyway, The event started just over an hour ago and I am already almost done.. just need a couple more of the cow-rabbit eared cuckoos. (cannot remember the name and too lazy to look it up right now). That is with the breeding cloud row, pink jelly, and 4 pheromones, plus almost filling my magic glade with breeding pens. I did have several cuckoos left from prior events, 1-2 at each level needed, but there should be no difficulty in folks completing this event, as long as they have the powerfeed, jelly and pheromones. If you don't have the cloud row, I think you have to wait about 12 -15 minutes (if using pink jelly and 4 pheromones each), rather than the 5 I have to wait. ps.. forgot about the magic tree runes. I cannot remember the impact of that. Even so, I think the powerfeed and pheromone availability are the major limits for new players.

All I got to say is the runes go for it! really, fight to get them runes, stay up grow crops, play the market but get them quest done and get them runes, they reeeeally do you right.

Got 2 to get and it be all for me. this big time.

 

It's 8 minutes Woody with 4 pheromones, pink jelly and the tree rune. Best skip I've had so far is a Punkoo from 4 regular cuckoos.

Edit: make that two punkoos for regulars.

 

I've completed the event quest! My best skip so far was a wooly-snout and a Swashbuckaroo! from four regular cuckoos.

 

I just completed the event too!! Just under 4 hours, my best ever

I only bred regular cuckoos and 1 field of 24 gave me - 1 punkoo, 1 bee and 1 masked !!! Also my best ever skips ever!!!

 

Congrats CaliChrome on your great skip no sign of the top three on my farm yet
I finished the event too!!! My best skips were a couple of Bee cuckoos from regulars.
