Since there are so many of us, all from different time zones, it would be so helpful to have a "Famerama Time" clock so we can better calculate events. When to be on, how long we will have to prepare, things like that.

Hi, just my 100 cents most likely not worth a buck.

I use the cest clck in the events area right on top, then go 6 hours in my head as they are ahead in my time helps me.

So by my math, 2pm it starts, but 8am to me.

I bet it does! That's a great idea, but kind of why I suggested the in game clock. So many people are using an alternative clock of some kind and it would be so helpful to just have it in game.

    Thanks for the reply :)
That does help, but unless one checks the forum, then it is easy to forget. As I said above, so many are using alternative clocks or looking it up on the forums, it would be so much easier to glance at a clock in the game and know constantly.

We used to have a clock and a countdown timer for Events on the old forum but for some peculiar reason it could not be implemented here on the new forum.
I do agree it would be such a great help for most if they could find a way to bring it back :)

Oh without a doubt it would be more easy to have a count down clock here .... i wasn't trying to fob off your idea in anyway so please don't think that ... more some people don't think of setting up a second clock on their pc/tablets .... took me a while to think to do it ....

How about a time zone converter . . .Cest is not even listed in some of the online converters . . . UTC plus 2 listed in the last Baby Boomer event made it even more confusing.

Also, a continuously visible countdown timer would be nice for both events and consumables.

I google "What time is it in Berlin and New York" and several sites convert it for me and I write it down when the event starts next to my computer, when an event that suits my needs occurs and don't require a zillion junks...

I've actually memorized a few of the important times. For me on the west coast of USA....I know 3:00pm is when a new day(12:00 am-cest) begins...so that's when I do fuzzles and send gifts to my nabs and chicks.
Many events begin at 14:00 cest is 5:00am for me. I actually don't mind being asleep when most events begin.:music: That way by 8:00 or 9:00am when I 1st login...most of the glitches have been worked out.:p

Absolutely! Should have been done a long time ago!

How about putting a clock tower in the village (or even the overall "entry" screen) with Farmerama time!

A good idea, but my toolbar is already too crowded.

I've played other games where time matter a lot more and I usually get by just fine with a certain website with time and date and their time calculator (and at times a google spreedsheet) But I loved the idea of a working clock tower.

woody, the extra time clock on my desktop only shows when I hover my mouse over the time/date in the right hand corner. No clutter. It just pops up above it only for a few seconds while I hover. Then it disappears. The function is a part of your Windows clock and you can set up to two other time zones.

Super awesome idea Erica51:DIt would be nice to not always fumble around trying to figure out the time frame of events;)I am not setting up some other clock as I don't always access the farm from home...besides...that would mean I have FOCD!!! I can't admit thatxDxDxD

Soon enough the Daylight Time Saving or DTS, Summer/Wintertime will kick in. As both US and Europe switch about 4 weeks apart our bioritm will mess up on what time it actually is on whatever spot on Earth we are There's no clock around to prevent that.:)

Rest assured time is futile and love matters.

I appreciate the suggestion. However, I still think there should be an easy to read in-game clock. Also, I think a clock tower would be a nice addition.

I just want to see a "thing" that tells me when something starts...as in how many hours and minutes. Kinda like a count down clock/timer -what have you. I don't need to know that somethng starts at 13:00 hours CEST time!! I need to know how long until it starts according to my time zone. Or at least put a European clock in the ? box that we can go to for reference...please.
Like your idea of a clock tower woody;)makes things smoother for everyone

A very big THANK YOU to BlackCaviarxD for sharing the windows clock idea. I forgot about that thing...will have to add it to all my computers that I play Farm on:p;):D
