This event is a little different, not very much, but still I appreciate the variation. Requiring tools is a good change, I have so many in my barn that I don't need (but why go after my wood boards? it is the only tool I am short on, during one and a half years on this farm I have never had enough wood boards for all the things I want to build :p).

The CAC cloud row: This I don't understand o_O:oops: I am sure it will be very popular with many players, but it will ruin the profitability for CAC on the market.

CAC has been one of the very few products in the confectionery that is profitable to make yourself rather than buy it on the market. It has been the main reason for players to work on leveling up in the confectionery. The way I see it, there is now no reason at all to make an effort to level up. There are a couple of nice recipes in the first level, pumpkin jam (maybe that will change as well) and guava jam. The next good ones are Easter marmalade and Island paradise jam in level 5. But Easter marmalade can be bought cheaply in the market at certain times (when it is rewarded in an event for instance or given in a bonus code) and who really needs Island paradise jam?

I have never bought sugar myself, but it is my impression that players bought sugar mainly to make CAC and EM. I would think that sugar sales will now drop and also the sale of the CAC recipe. Maybe it will increase sale of the harvest helpers?

I hope there are some plans to improve the Artisan's village, right now it seems to be dying  CAC and red punch/MOS were the main reason to bother with it at all in my opinion. Of course there are some other good products to make: like Easter marmalade, spring wreath, zucchini apple bred. But the investment to reached the levels for these products is very high. For some other profitable products the recipes are no longer available (which is probably why they are profitable). If I had a new farm I don't think I would bother much with the Artisan's village :(

The event seems easy enough for people who have a high enough level to have the tools required and able to use buffs. The CAC prize from the cloud row is going to be popular with a lot of people. It's a great product that lots of players love. But, I'm glad I didn't waste 199BBs buying the recipe. It seems a slap in the face to the people who actually purchased it. This is going to make the price of CAC drop dramatically, and there are a fair number of players who were making money selling it. I can't see how this is going to help BP's financial position. People who spent real money to get the BBs to buy the CAC recipe certainly are going to think twice about purchasing any other expensive item. Perhaps you should give some sort of compensation to people who bought a now worthless recipe.

I like this event and the prizes, the crops are really pretty it would be nice to keep them in the game,of course people will be upset but there will also be a lot of happy farmers especially those that chose the bakery!

Just to make one thing clear: I am not upset. I understand that from time to time there will be game changers. I just don't understand the reasons behind this one.

Lately there have been some changes that were admitted to not being very well thought out (stars and manure). I just hope this is not another one. I hope there is a plan behind this that will improve the game.

I love the quest, I like that we only have one crop of flowers and that they take 4 hours to grow.
I like the prizes, especially the cloud row, 10,000 Baha eps and a CAC every 48 hours sounds good to me.
Many farmers will be delighted to get the CAC.
I paid the 199BB's to get the recipe for the CAC, not to sell it, just to have for my own use.

It's about time in my opinion, that BP gave something to those farmers who may not be able to afford the lots of little extra that make the game easier. Well done BP.

ok the problem i have at level 89,is i do not have enough resources to make a whole lot of event crops at one time and with you requiring them both in the mill and part the event quest,i will struggle to maybe finish one or two stages of this event,i mean really!?! 50 of the paint plants to make one sketch board,be for real>:(!!

I like this event so far. Who can say he/she has planted rainbows. The crop is cute and the EP's are really good lately. Busy players have the option of comfort fields and it still makes sense.
I loooove the price. That Cloud Row is just great. If I wasn't using CAC already, I would sure invest in it now. There are some CAC as rewards also. That is a big help.
I am not so sure about the "part" of a harvest helper. If it is that way, I personally do prever the harvester. But there are sure some player, who think different.

50 plants for the mill are okay. (the Easter event one, was to much). We can use BOTH mills. Yey!
And every one, who is not able to finish, will have the EP givers. And no empty CR.

Hopefully the event drops and the tools needed, will drop nicely.

I worked hard to get my confectioner shop up to level 4. Granted, I purchased my CAC recipe during a half price sale but that was still 100 precious BBs! I've labored to grow the crops needed to produce CAC and have done all I could to get the sugar needed. I was just getting to the point where I could sell CAC on the market to earn some CCs and now, you are awarding a cloud row that gives a CAC every 48 hours? You won't let me earn a BB tree but you are basically giving away CAC. No train to get a Jumbo Tree for SSG, SG or even the barely useful Turbo Mulch. But CAC to anyone over level 2? I can't earn a Magic Tree but players who can't even get to the craft market can get CAC by the boatload?

The bottom is already falling out on the CAC prices in the market.
Thanks BP for making all my hard work worthless.

EDIT: Since I log in through a third party, earning BBs in the theater is not an option for me. Most of my BBs are purchased for real money.

I like the event and the fact that the Cloud Row will give CAC, granted I won the recipe long long ago in an event, then it became available to purchase in the shop.. no problem other than we worked our butts off to get the recipe in the event that cost lots of resourses, and BB's to buy SG and PF to get the items we needed to Donate to the Event... big kick in the teeth.... I am not complaining by no means, so please do not misunderstand my post.
I myself do not see where this will affect the price of CAC in the market. Even though I can make the CAC I still buy it in the market from time to time .
Yes there will be farmers who will manage to get the Cloud Row... but they still have to have the Vine open to be able to reap its benefits.

I would love a chance to get a Magic tree, and the Jumbo trees and Jumbo Animal pens:cry::cry::cry:

I'm another player who watched an awful lot of ads in the cinema to pay 199 BB for CAC recipe. I only got it recently so I feel ripped off as I could have saved my BB for something else.

I love the artistic design, graphics of the crop, the givers are cute as well :) really wish the crop would stay in the game. Nice job Graphics & Design Team, I'm never disappointed with this aspect of the game, you all need a raise, so you'll stick around. ;)

The prizes are good for the amount of effort needed to achieve them. I like the fact that lower level farms can get a bit farther in the events now and also receive a few decent rewards. The increased BEP awarded is welcomed.
I like the 4 hour single crop. The variation with the required items is refreshing. Event time length is fine.

I am on the fence with the cloud row giving out CAC. As some mentioned, many worked hard, spent BB and invested time to be able to achieve this goal, the CAC recipe and all it entails. To now have the product handed out is some what of a disappointment. On the other hand, yes, the purchase price might fall a bit, but the need will still be there, as not everyone will obtain this cloud row. It will save a bit of time and recourses for those who manage to complete the event. I guess I will make up my mind in time.

An interesting, yet relaxed event, good job.

I will go for the cloud row as I might as well get easy CAC. I am disappointed that BP didn't think about what goes into earning the CAC recipe and growing the crops necessary to make CAC when they decided to create this row. I would have been happier if the cloud row didn't give CAC so often. Even 72 hours (instead of forty eight) would have been good for those unable to make their own or afford to buy from the market yet would still allow those that make it, the ability to sell it in a timely fashion.

(I am one who recently purchased my recipe during the last half price sale. If I had known that this row was coming, I might not have bothered. As it is, I probably won't sell much on the market anymore. It won't be worth it.)

I like the prizes - The cac will save a lot of players money.
I don't think that the requirements are too demanding, and I haven't altered my fields, which is a plus for me

I like this event and the CR for CAC as a prize even though I did buy the recipe recently. I now both make my own CAC and buy it on the market. I still figure I will continue to do both for a long time yet. As I get more and more CAC, I keep using it more and more often. So until I can use CAC 24/7 that pattern won't change.

I paid 199 bb for CAC recipe because if was the craft I wanted the most, and did not want to wait for a sale. As soon as I reached the level 4 I bought it. I mainly felt I had lost my time and effort by doing the bakery first. Nothing is very useful in the bakery, but several crafts are excellent in the confectionery. Yet, I'm very glad to have the possibility of winning a cloud row that gives CAC. I never sold CAC, just kept it for my daily personal use. I was never able to finish a quest, before I got CAC. as pumpkin jam was not helping enough.
The cloud will give CAC every 48 hours is not that much. CAC last a little less that 24 hours with Pinky Pie, so it still can be bought and sold. If the price is lower, more people will buy, it so you can still make a profit. I never bought CAC because the price was much too high.
i will not be able to work in this event this week-end so I hope the drops will be good and that I can finish it.

In order to sell CAC and still have some for my own use, I must spend all the time between events growing the crops used in CAC. There are still several FSQs that want the hazelnuts and onions I use in CAC. Buying the hazelnuts and onions didn't allow any profit before this event row came about so how can I make any money selling CAC now? Frenchmom1 thinks the price of CAC was too high but for the ingredients in it, it will now be too low. Not worth the effort to produce. So much for paying BBs for a recipe that has lost most of it's value. I can't recommend anyone bother with the confectionary shop anymore.
