this morning so far, baha 1 drop from chili.
after setting up pens and workshops in glade late last night i wake up this morning to see i forgot to feed everything.
waiting on main farm with kohlrabi
waiting on meadow with sugar beat

still need 354, at this rate it will push me right to the end.

 

Working on last step. I've been planting other crops overnight and have only partially used Baha for event crops. Placed my best pens back in the Magical Glade last night. Drops are okay and I expect I should finish no later than tomorrow.

 

How far have you progressed ?

 

level 1 (9 out of 10 markers 100 out of 300 paint jars and 1 out of 5 sketchbook)

 

Again, whoever at this point has accumulated slightly over 200 drops (210+) is OK. All those above that figure are more than OK, provided they are sure they'll be able to normally farm until the end of the event. Level 4 complete means you've already gotten and used 180 event's drops.

In my main, having used no refinements, I've accumulated 446 so far, 154 to go. Whenever I see in this farm, at any point in the event, that I have more than double what should be expected as a minimum up to that point, as it is the case now, I know any of my lower level farms will do it without any problems, for sure. In fact, all of them are way over 210+. I even dare to say that, under such situation, any farm, let's say over level 60, should be able to do it.

So, event's drops are normal to high, in my opinion. It's only a matter of being able to tame one's own anxiety if you have the chance to normally farm till the end of the event.

 

Aluntino, I started the event late but now I am in the completion of 5th level. For drops and initial increement of event crops I used SGs with all its plus and Comfort fields and planted roses for drops. It was very quick and easy. Various buffs, rune, refinements for Rose crops made it more easier.

My suggestion is that players try doing refinements as it will help in events. For those who login once or twice a day it will be certainly helpful in getting the drops in an easier way.


But I found 1x1 field of event crop gave low rate of drops. But as I said earlier it has increased considerably in last harvest.

You need any help ? What is your farm level? Hope you don't mind me asking?

 

Well, I'm not seeing any increase: they are just as they have been since start. For instance, I've just harvested a fully 1x1s-field with sorghum/millet that yielded 4 event's drops. Of course, it's because of randomness (if I were to extrapolate its result to the event crop, I should expect no less than 10 event's drops from same field, but I don't: partial results from a field don't matter, accumulated grand totals do).

But, anyway, in my lower level farms -either in fully 1x1s or a combination of 1x1s and 1x2s-, crops like hazelnut are yielding 25/30 event's drops per field -and they have since start-. In fact, the one with no Living Legend rune active, at a combined 21% of trophies, is doing better than the one with LL active at 26%, as it's usually the case. I plant longer crops overnight in all of the farms and results are being consistently good, doing nothing special.

 

My Living Legend Rune is 29/30. My drop rates for 1x1 field for event crops are :-
Main Field - 2
Green Meadows - 4
Magic Glade - 4
Baha - 4

Total 14

Hi DBAYES, do we have to have the Howie Donuts on one of the fields for it to be effective? I have had one sat in my park for a while but when I read your post I've moved it onto one of the fields now.

I don't think anyone need worry too much about drops just yet, we've got until Tuesday. I am at work every day but am on the farm at night and I'm going at a nice steady pace with my crops and drops atm. I've been getting much higher drop rates than some of you but then I still have some trees, stables and workshops out here and there. Because I am using CF's for overnight and through the day I will plant long term crops after I've grown all the event crops but if I wasn't having to use the CF's, I would be planting long term overnight. You've just got to do what is convenient for your RL situation. It just takes a bit of planning and time management if you want to get the most done out of your available time. It also helps once you're a mid-high level player as more is available to you to help such as longer term crops to grow to help with drops.

Whew it was a real slow start for the drops. Thankfully it improved over last night. Now have all the sketchbooks milled and just need to finish my last event crops then wait for the last 140 or so markers!! Lots of time left so no worries here

 

Kinda planting the junks on the broke farm. Kinda! On the baby farms the drop rate is better and none are doing the event.

Some obviously are worried about drops from their buying behavior. Selling cuckoos in lots of 1000 at over 240. Appears some need a little trophy work.

No hurry and no worry, especially with the junks! Definitely not them!

 

Almost done with this event. Just waiting on the drops. I should have them in a couple of hours. Had to work today so I planted hazelnuts. Then got out of work early so now I have to wait a little but thanks ok too.

One more harvest and I will have all my event plants done, milled all my sketchbooks and I'm up to the last two layers of the event. Now it's just all about the drops and getting in some regular farming along with it. Good luck to everyone still working away on this.

 

just went to check my market, someone has 16 lots of 1,000 cuckoos @269.50cc
this i cannot understand because the low for cuckoo is 128cc, there are 65 pages to go through before you reach the 16 lots. thats 430,000cc in commission.
still trying to figure out why people do this, maybe transferring product and cc between friends? transferring between their own farms, that would be hard to get 2 farms in same market?

Big buyers, wanting to buy a lot are often willing to pay more for big lots, but this sounds like a bit too much. Maybe the offers were put up some days ago, when the price was higher, or maybe something else

 

woooohoooooooo the froggie has FINISHED with this event ..... carnations this morning gave me all the drops needed to complete ....

using CAC 1x1 plot, now I only use MF & GM growing event crop. other 2 field return back to
normal farming.
