All I need now are drops for my last 10 sketchbooks and for the last step. All event crops are done and have plenty of wood boards. Planted carnations in all mainland fields for morning drops. :)

Another long day away from computer for me but am now finished with crops and sketchbooks on both farms. Just need drops. It will be fine ...still plenty of time left. Tomorrow an early start to take the herd to the vet (3 cats and 2 dogs) so need to harvest early. Late afternoon company today means I putting my hopes on overnight roses as anything longer would be sitting until I get back from the vet. Good luck to those still working and Congrats to those already done!

@fifitrixiebell, Yes place your Howies on the fields that get drops...you don't get drops from the Park.
I can't beilieve most of you have all your crops done, I'm soooo slow in that department...Well Done all! I'm starting the last level of the event now:D

When I put comfort fields in, I plant the event plant, water and manure them, then with additional spaces left open, I put in 1 x 1's of a high level crop..., then add water and manure to them as well(when I use my refined roses, I don't need manure). They are normally both ready to harvest when I get up in the morning and when I return from work. My drops have been decent, not great. Today in one field I got 22 drops. I use comfort fields out of necessity, because of work and sleep and wanting to participate in the event. One reason why the drops aren't fantastic, even for comfort fields I feel is because overall drops are horrendously low for this event plant .... so I was quite happy with my 22 drops from one field. I'm glad i put in the long term crops in leftover space to up my counts. As soon as my event plants are done I will do nothing but high level crops to work on my drops. I have completed all sketchbooks so everything I get will go towards completing the event. I Hope everyone succeeds in gaining this Cloud Row!!

I see, and feel the pain of others with the dismal event drops! Let's look at it another way without our FOCD glasses on! It is currently (I'm in the southwest US) 1051PM. I just finished the next-to-last layer of the event. I have until TUESDAY to finish it!! I haven't posted, and do not intend to, in the SOS thread. If I am going to panic, I will do so on Sunday. The drops are dismal, to be sure!!! But aren't they doable just the same??

On my main farm, I am sitting pretty well, I should be done this time tomorrow. Have all the event crops and the sketch books, just short of 78 markers to complete the event, and have planted long duration crops everywhere, so the drops should come in.

On my second farm, things are in control. The only issue I face is RL, because I will be unable to come online from Monday, so I have to finish by tomorrow night. After, I harvest the current lot of event crops there, I should be able to shift to longer term crops or animal pens for drops there. Only crossing my fingers hoping for the last 2 paints, I am missing there.

I think this event was easy if a farm had the tools, and if one was able to come online regularly to harvest.

After the next harvest of Baha I should have my event crops. Already switched to hazelnuts on the main field and meadow. Though 270 drops to go. Seems to be an awful lot... Will see. In between a big big THANKS to all who sent markers to me :inlove:

I have all the event crops. I grew carnations on mainfarm, Green Meadow and Magical Glade last night. Carnations gave me 94 drops.
I still need 37 markers. I have planted roses on all three fields. Bahamarama - all trees.
Roses will be ready at 01:35 AM (MYT). I think I can get enough drops from roses. :);)

Congrats to those already done and Good luck to those still working.;)

Finished! The overnight roses did it for me. A couple of markers left over, and 243 flower plants. I'm glad we will be recompensed for the overage. :)

I am seriously low on markers. :( I still think the howies are a joke. I'm level 94 on this farm, and even with 18 howies, (yes, really) i am so low on drops that it is rediculous.

One field with jumbo trees, (and all the speedy posibilities added) the rest with event plant and high level crops.

It's frustrating. I'd rather be done a day early with too many drops, than having to worry about making it.

Try roses, farmingfreebird. They certainly helped me.

I use Roses rather than Kohlrabi as I can plant them later and can get another harvest of say a 3 hour crop.
Kohlrobi takes 14.30 hrs without water and gives 88 eps
Roses take 10.48 hrs without water and give 96 eps.

practically done. I will "pay" in the event tomorrow. The harvester fits best tomorrow, since I will be busy. (Birthday BBQ)

Seriously, guys, since I'm not seeing any problems in any of my farms -as of now, anyone having accumulated 310/315+ event's drops, 285/90 to go, is OK-, I feel the need of trying to help assess what's wrong in the approach of those who claim to be getting low drops, because no one at or above level60 with trophies at a minimum 20/21% combined should be having any problems. Again, this is only for those who have not gotten at least 310/315+ yet. The rest only needs to tame anxiety if they'll go on normally farming till the end of the event.

Of my farms, the one that's doing "worst" still needs 176 drops; that is, it already got 424 of them, so in reality it's doing very well, even that one. I finished in my main with my first morning harvest.

I wonder if those who say they are having low drops (less than 310/315+ as of now) have ripped their farms apart to produce just the event's crop.

If that's the case, I think that's part of the problem. In all farms, I never rip them apart for producing the event's crops unless the requirements are so overwhelmingly high that I'm compelled to (or, if I know I'll have little time). I always leave some trees permanently sitting where they are; depending on the farm and the land, it varies from 0% (main land) to 25% of the available space, a mix of all kinds of trees (meaning plain, XLs and XXLs); I leave my main aside because it permanently dedicates 80% of the glade to trees. I'm not saying trees yield better drops: they don't; crops in 1x1s are the best drop yielders, in my experience. But I suppose that somehow the algorithm BP uses to distribute drops takes that into account and somehow powers up total drops from everything. So, my first advice for next event is not to rip farms apart.

Second, probably some of you are overdoing the event's crop. I don't because there's no need. When there's enough time, like for this event, and the event's crop time allows to do so, I only plant longer crops overnight (of course, leaving the trees where they are). In Baha, in the farm that still doesn't have longer Baha crops available, I plant overnight the event's crop over CFs.

Third, for those who don't have the Living Legend rune unlocked, remember you need to trek your trophies to each land before harvesting it, so that it takes the boost.

Adding trees in the midst of the event is probably not a good idea, but take this into account for next event.

In the meantime, if I were having low drops, I'd bet for longer crops for as much a space and the most time I could afford to dedicate. "Longer" means anything over 8/9 hs base time, that is, from aubretia and asparagus up.

I hope this helps you to be less anxious next time.

I planted carnations and coffee overnight and I'm now only 66 markers from completion. I've got roses planted and figure to complete by the end of the day. No sweat.

I also think many don't look at the numbers, but panic when they have grown most of the crops, but still need a couple of hundred drops. But almost half of the event time is still left. I have several times seen farmers posting that they are really low on drops, but then they finish two days before the event ends.

So if you think you are low on drops, take a look at the numbers Aluntino posted, and maybe you'll see that you are doing fine :)

(Of course some really are struggling with drops, especially if they can't harvest often with this short event crop :()
