I don't have the beanstalk open yet either and I'm most definitely doing this event. I might even spring for the 3 hungry bats I need to open the beanstalk once I get this event completed. I doubt it though I hate spending my CC's on something I know I can get for myself if I'm just patient. Still there might be some on sale.....;)

my point of view, the higher you get up in levels the harder it gets to level up cause ep jumps by leaps and bounds. everything you can get your hands on for ep grab it, especially cloud rows which have unlimited space i think.
as for cac, a bonus on the side, price will drop cause most will be getting one every 2 days which will lead to many people that will stop making it. once people stop making it and more and more new players get into the game which do not have the cloud row price will go up again. may take a year or more. but really who cares about price of cac, eventually you will reach a point where you make more than enough cc's to buy 1 per day.

Holy cow, there is no manure on sale in my market. o_O There were more than 1100 offers just a few hours ago. That is amazing to me.

People like their poop! Once I finish, if there is plenty of time left, I am going to throw out a field of chickens and sell that smelly stuff at a premium!

Hi, I'm here! :DLife has been a little crazy for me lately, and I haven't had much time to post comments. But I'm still reading the forum when I get a chance! I agree with what other people have suggested in terms of this event, for what it's worth...definitely do the event!! Even though your bean stalk isn't open yet, you'll be very glad to have this CAC cloud row waiting for you once you climb that stalk!:)

not only is it selling out but because its so low its not even worth trying to list. my top asking price is only 7.67 lol. probably take days and thousands more listing to get it up in price.

Good to see you again Steph :)
Ok; so I have plantedthe crops and see the markers fall when I harvest things... but I really don't understand the process, and the event page is no help. On the first + it says "deposit" 10 - is that 10 markers it wants? Can't be right because the info page has a lot more than 10 markers (+crops and boards) listed as the first quest :sleepy: I don't get it at all

Last time, I sat out the event, I sold manure and cuckoo food and made a ton of CC. This time, I'm participating! The CAC every 48 hours is why.

It's true that the cloud rows you earn from event quests are waiting for you when you get the beanstalk open! I moved all my pretty little EP givers to their special cloud rows when I got it open and I just harvested them all a few minutes ago. Also, even if you don't get as far as completion - every EP giver you get can go on a non-specific cloud row - I have two open - one gives CCs and the other gives Pheromones. So the events where I didn't quite finish because they were very early on, but I got one or two of the EP givers - they still have become very beneficial now that I have that beanstalk open.

Plus, in the meantime, they go in the park and give you EP once or twice a day...which is still a nice boost. So I suggest going as far as you can. In the first day of the quest, I managed to get through the first 4 levels. That's just one day and one CAC...it's going to go slower now as the next two levels want boatloads of flowers markers and sketchbooks, but it's still doable...I'm shooting for that cloud row!

Chris - yes, it wants markers - it shows you how many you need and how many you have on hand on the right side of that box.

would be nice to have an abundance of bb's to open up all those clouds rows, at least the ep ones.

So, I have completed the first 4, and - like the previous crop event - I am looking at the same problem to complete the entire thing: not enough of the drop items. How can I get more markers? I have tried planting quicker grow plants (lettuce etc) to gain more markers, but they either give none or just 1 from an entire field. Does anybody have any good tips?

Thanks Puppies; so the answer is the only way to increase drops is to use a high level trophy ... I will check if I have enough carrots to boost it :D

Not the only way but certainly the best way. Tree fruits work better for the trophy than carrots:)

Chris you need to plant and grow long term crops overnight to increase drops. If you have all the other stuff and only need the markers you might be able to do that but it would be close.

Reading those strategy threads and there is one for every event, is really key to being able to set a game plan and follow through. I keep getting a bit better each event and it's not just because I've gone up in levels but because I've read others strategies and figured out what might work best for me. For myself I know I have to go into it with a clearly defined game plan and then execute it or I tend to waste time and resources. Following the strategy thread helps me set that game plan as there are some lovely players that will do all the necessary math, so then all I have to do is work out what will fit into my schedule and then just do it. I've resorted to keeping a notebook as I did find writing down my game plan works better than hoping I will remember what I planned to do from memory.

Something to think about for next time. :)

Chris, don't be so impatient. I've completed the first 5 levels too, grown all the plants I need for the 6th level but still need another 90 drops. NOT A PROBLEM! There is still more than 2 days to get my drops. Now I'll just grow the crop I need for the FSQ I'm working on & the drops will come. Should have it all completed late tomorrow. Remember farming takes time.

I levelled up -- now I can plant Spinach -.- a 4 hour event plant seems like lettuce now!

I've started experimenting with comfort fields on Baha and I'm thinking for now this is the way for me to go. I have such a tiny amount of space for crops there with the rest covered in trees and animal pens. I've not been making any headway at all in growing even the most basic crop. Since I've used the CF's I've more than tripled my supply of grapes in just one day. With water and manure the grapes take just a little over 2 hours, it also makes the 4 hour crops legitimate overnight crops to grow.

It's been working well for me the last few days and since I only have 15 CF spots it's easy to have enough manure on hand without having to purchase any. Just something for others to think about if your struggling like I was with crop production in a tiny space.
