Thank you CaliChrome! I've never even heard of that event.

Thank you, Aluntino. I'll start watching my market prices, especially since this game is far too quickly becoming a job. I really appreciate your input! :)

This is a good argument here, but there is an important question here since the lemon grass smoothie is a level 5 recipe, my farm is not working now to check, but I think this product is not access able until we are at level 5 so I can't tell if I can buy it since I am at level 4 spa, if not then it is not a good advice to use it for herbal elixir drops, but if I can buy it then it is worth to try it and see the results, the reasonable harvest might give 10 to 16 units, but for six hours the 10% means 1-2 per harvest so is it worth at this cost.

One thing we learned from experience that is this game need patience so my advice is to wait few days until we can build a stock from herbal elixir then start, at my stage now I found I have 75000 from those without buying any or using refinements, so it is not a problem to me, so I think patience and good planning is the best advice now until we can afford the cost or have a good stock to start.

I have worked on refinements in the area of time reduction (early bloomer, water love, SG love) and have completely ignored all the artisan refinements. I remember a conversation between Arq and Teddy about the use of Obatzda and sugar drops, I think it was in the old forum. It was something to the effect of how he was getting the same amount and sometimes less drops. Anyway because of the negative effects I have just left them alone....I do have the SG refinement on Cotton so this is something I will go back and rethink.
I do have to agree with Aluntino, that it is just not cost efficient to make everything yourself. I mostly use my elixirs on MOS and I do manage to keep a nice stock but this is the one artisan that I could run low on....we have no trees to replace them, so I'm always thinking ahead.

Abubadi, patience and good planning is the best advice.....but patience is not a virtue I have ;)

yes , for many of us, it need little training, but there is a lot of things to do on the farm to keep you busy for sometime, that is what I do when I feel I don't have patience, I just work on another goal temporarily.

    abubadi,

Lemongrass smoothie is, like MOS, a level 3 recipe. Probably you don't have it because you haven't finished the quest that awards it, A Smoothie for Laura. But for sure you can buy it if you'd like to try it.

@ Mir, you are braver than me, I have been saving GB for the coral reef since I heard that it is coming on June, so far I have 107 GB and soon I have to open the Moringa tree and Ginger because I am almost done with the lemon grass quest, I will just wait few more days, as per the monthly preview calendar of June, and if the rumors are true, it is June 4 the Ocean day start were the coral reef should come, if not then I will go spending GB.

    P.S. I like the song.

I don't know, that would exclude a lot of players, and if we look at what Varun said in the February newsletter I don't think it is very likely. But who knows :music:

    @-Mir85-

    I do not know either.:sleepy:
IMHO, what Varun said in the February Newsletter are :
    • the requirements demanded of previous quests that already exist. Pandanus Palms and Sea Grapes were called for Castles in the Sand quest.
    • as we predicted, the second of harbor statue (to coral reef feature) is after the next of the first harbor statue (Shipwreck Bay - 5 quests). It was indicated that the Coral Reef quests would be a continuation of the previous level.
    • if my guess is correct, this is in accordance with what has been written. Not too many gold bananas needed and can be accessed by all the players. "You will be pleasantly suprised", Varun said.
    • how many tasks, requirements, and how many gold bananas for the second of harbor statue was still under evaluation.

I would not recommend what I say it is. But this is just a thought of analysis.
    But WHO KNOWS !! :music:

How could you possibly get this from what is written in the newsletter? o_O

If you are correct, it would exclude a lot of players, and not at all be in accordance with what was said about being accessible to all players, in my opinion.

Another thing: If the coral reef statue is in chamber 8, why would it require fruits from chamber 9? That would just be mean.

It's just rumors that do not require proof. May happen or may not. (I'm not talking about Xanxon's rumors, but the another ones)
So as not to confuse a lot of people, I have written :
That means you can to ignore it.;)

May I ask your opinion about the requirement will be accessible to all players, please ? o_O

I may be wrong. I have no idea, but you have a solid view.

Rumors are OK ;) But in your post you referred to the newsletter.

Of course I don't take it literally, since there will be golden bananas involved, players must have access to bahamarama at least :) Before I always believed (or rather guessed) that the coral reef statue would be after the harbor statue. But it takes quite a while to get there, so now I rather think it will be in one of the earlier chambers (which one, I don't have an opinion on).

I think there was a clue about the GB requirement too in the same newsletter:
I interpret that as the GB for the reef will be much less than for the three new trees (which was 132 GB in total). My guess would be no more than 50.

But this is just my interpretation :)

Coral reef feature is still a nightmare mystery to me. Over 1 year already waiting and I hope there are no more delays. I wish coral reef feature will be announced on next newsletter.

Sorry a little intrusive on my wild guess about coral reef feature above.

OK, this is how I've been attacking Bahamarama. Currently lvl 77 on the main farm & lvl 75 on the island. Just opened the last chamber today.
I have ONLY unlocked the 1st customer, all fields, the harbor, banana & coconut trees, sugarcane, passion fruit, cinnamon, grape, vanilla & pineapple statues. No animals yet.

Now I have been growing all event crops possible on the island, even after completing the event I continue growing the event because BEP for event crop is higher & extra crops are converted to EP & CC's after event ends ... win...win.

I've used some buffs, Pineapple cake, Vanilla crescents, the Green Mateatos awarded & the owl I bought during the last half price sale. I don't have enough CC's to spend/use buffs everyday, should I be lucky enough to be awarded/win a Red Punch or similar product, I'll sell it for CC's.

I've done all the FSQ's I can that involve bahamarama until I'm blocked by an unlocked statue. I'm almost at the point where I can proceed no further without unlocking more statues. I have 1GB left at this point & will be very selective which statues I unlock next.

Completing the Shipwreck Bay I FSQ is my next priority I think. I really wanted to wait to open any animal statues, but those Parrots are blocking several FSQ's. Though the Green Tea statue would open another FSQ that would help too. So I'll be accumulating GB's & working out my next step for the next little while. The events have been very helpful to leveling up on Bahamarama & I'm going to count on that continuing.

I started this farm at the end of Feburary & I'm pleased with the progress I've made on Bahamarama so far & am very interested to see how the Coral Reef will come into the game. I've been reading your strategies for Bahamarama wondered if you have any ideas/suggestions to make.

    Happy Farming to all!
