For the attention of anyone who wants to do this event but doesn't have many CCs:
The minimum number of goose stables you will need to buy is just 4. The stables take 5 hours without any buffs so 4 with water.
For the final stage you have the 4 stables ready to harvest, start the timer and then harvest and feed+water again straight away. Then set a timer and do the same 4 hours later. Then harvest for the final time 4 hours after that. You would just be able to produce the 12 geese required within the 8 hours and 10 minutes allowed with no buffs, but it's very tight. The 'Stable master' rune on the tree of wisdom would make it much easier, or I will happily send a buff item to anyone who wants to use this method. Send a message to the farm name of --Shimmer--

The 4th step will also require 3 harvests if you have four stables but there is 30 minutes spare, so it's not as tight.

 

Why do you want to invest in the yellow pens? I don't see the point in spending 153.600 CCs for 12 pens which are only half an hour quicker than the ordinary pen. And you have so much time to do this very easy event. Is there something I'm missing here?

 

I'm following -Mir85- and buying 44 Geese stables. I like to have a full field as well. For other quests, I've even bought 60 stables, so that I could harvest all the animals in one go. You think I'll have enough crops with about 1500 Sorghum and 2500 Blackberries?

The only animal for which I've 128 stables, is the chickens. With a manure pile of 150, that seemed like a good investment

The blackberries on my market are 15CC at the lowest (25CC max) and the Sorghum is 49 at the lowest (83.35CC max).

I think I'll wait and just mill loads of Geese feed and sell those. After all, from the FAQ:

With the preview calendar showing a breeding event in a few weeks, I'm banking on it being the event for the Geese breeding. Otherwise it would be July, but I wonder if they'll give us enough time to breed a wagon load of Geese..... Hmmm..... Geese feed and Geese may make a nice amount of CC, which I can really use

Well, I'm currently waiting on my Sketchbooks to finish, so it's nice to see a new event that requires so little investment I don't mind it at all!

Hi Meba091. I brought 12 Geese Pens as Part of My Investment to Grow as Many Geese as I can. Just to Start with Small Experiment to See the time Difference When Using Yellow Geese Pen vs Normal Goose Basic Pen, When used with Cheese Balls, Valentine Pots Easter Cloud Row.

As I intend to grow as Many Geese as I can Ready for Geese Breeding in 4 to 6 Weeks Time. Try a Get at least Couple of Thousands of them. Made a Start Milling Goose Feed. I Guess have to Mill Loads of Geese Feeds, Well Couple of Thousand of them anyway. These Geese Pens are bit Pricey compared to buying Rabbit Pens which have longer growing time to Geese.

It is a Good Job been saving up my Farm Machinery in some of my quests these will come in handy. To my new Geese Farming Concept look forward to this Fun of Geese Farming

bhahaha i sold a few things this afternoon in Prep ..... managed to still be over 26 million .... so i'm fine i was more worried about dropping below my million mark lol ...... i will say i logged out to refresh and was more worried as it took me 40 minutes for farmerama to not time out lol .... RIGHT when we had GEESE! and i was ready to spend lol ....

 

I also bought 44 and got my CC balance below 800k...

I just got in, had the last of ostrich out to finish the quest that is tripping me up every turn, just trashed them, that hurt.
I got a field of geese, had to refresh before the new stalls came up to buy, what happened to 24 hour warning, I feel like I am jumping out the door as I am trying to get my boots on and hold my coffee
I came right to the mill, thank goodness I got the stock, milling now, think it is better to PF the animals needed?
