I quite liked this event and as a higher level player managed to finish quite quickly. The tools and drops were no problem at all. I liked the event plant, very colourful and also liked the fact that we had to use the mill, particularly as we were able to use it on both Bahamarama and Main Farm. Rewards good as well, particularly the cloud row with the CAC. However ..... I am also one of those that worked hard to get to level 4 confectionary and paid the 200BB for the CAC recipe so I do now feel as though my efforts were a bit of a waste of time. I can understand how some players are a tad upset by it. CAC has now reached an all time low on my market.

Perhaps a new recipe as a reward would have been better, much like the Pinkie Pie recipe was a reward some time back. I also feel that the cloud row reward will entice a lot of lower level players to go all out in their efforts to complete the event and perhaps miss out due to not having enough tools to complete... then of course some will buy tool box's with real money or pay to complete the necessary levels. I think all events should give every player the opportunity to complete them without having to spend real money.

I like the event, but I think the CAC on the CR is a bizarre move. The EP and BEP, yes, no problem there, but the CAC? And I don't even have the recipe yet. Mind you, I'm happy with the 1 CAC I'll get every two days (only waiting on the last sketchbooks to finish and I can finish the event today), but, like others have already said, this undermines crafting in a great way.

Asking for tools in an event quest isn't neccessarily a bad idea, but it would be helpful if, like others have suggested too, the drop ratio was raised. I was lucky and had enough Wood Boards and Paint cans at the start of the event. But I haven't had any Paint can dropping during the event...... I did get Wood boards, but it would never have been enough to complete the event.

One thing I was confused about (I posted about it in general issues too) is that I was under the impression that we'd get the stars back with event quests again. From the OA "Mill Redesign and Stars Statement"
We've had stars with Agent Punkoo, but this current event, which asks quite a lot (especially tools!), doesn't reward anything. That's disappointing.

This event was nice. The flowers were very pretty. The prizes were good. I found it easy to finish and I didn't have to tear my farm up to do it. Others may not have had the necessary tools in stock, and some may not have been able to get them either! The drops for wood and paint could have been turned up a bit, I think, to help them out.
I like the cloud row and will be loving a steady supply of CAC coming in!
Thanks BP for yet another fun and engaging event!

I already have the CAC recipe, One of my cloud rows gives 10 Mandrake...who has the Alchemists house open? I don't know if any of my neighbors do either.
but this is good for players who don't have the level or recipe so I'm not knocking the prize.
I'm after the Baha ep and the chutney? well it's a little bit to save on sugar.

Hi Sheriziya :) There is a very subtle point here: event quests are short time event farmer society quests, so not all events. Events at the event place outside the farmers society have sometimes given stars, but not as a rule. Hope this takes away some of the confusion :)

I liked this event - not too many crops, great graphics, good to use the mill to make the sketch books, using some tools from inventory and the cloud row was a real incentive to complete the event. :inlove:
I think that the cloud row giving CAC is really good. I won the recipe in an event eons ago, before the cloud rows existed, and I have made serious money selling it during events. However, I can now use the ingredients for other things and the cloud row gives many players without the recipe ( either won or bought) a fairer chance in events which nowadays require the use of CAC. CAC has always been very expensive in the market and lower level players will find this a difficult commodity to get, so if the price comes down it will help them, and players like myself will still benefit by getting the CAC without having to grow all those hazelnuts etc and use all that sugar. :D:D
Thanks for this one BP - gets the big thumbs up !!

I'm level 57 and it says the quest can be done from level 2. How they heck is a level 2 person able to get 50 paints for the 4th level of this quest? I've only collected 36 to date and feel quite cheated as people are blowing past me at higher levels because of something that's in a drop. I spent a lot of time planting to get my 1800 paint jar plant and found that in 3 days I didn't get a single paint drop. Discouraged, I gave up on this quest, even though it would have been a fun challenge. All because of the luck or lack of luck with paint drops (and no way to buy them). I could possibly spend real money getting tool boxes, but in all the tool boxes I got doing the other quests, I've only been able to find 36 so far, so I'd have to spend a lot on tool boxes to get the remaining 14.

This Event had been a real Game Changer as Regards to a CAC Cloud Row. As it had been a mixed response.

Mir85....I guess this Cloud Row that Gives CAC goes in Favour to Those Who Struggle to get to Level 4 Confectionery. Or Not got the BB to Buy the CAC Receipe From the Stores. So it Really The Newbies Gain with This Event.

I understand that those to worked hard to get CAC Receipe and Make CAC to Make CC too. But The Price of CAC had been slowly fallen anway, It Actually goes in my Favour Hence they are now cheaper to buy in the Markets. The Reason is i use to Craft lots of CAC and use it to reap my Barn to high level of Crop Stocks. This had Actually Saved me 70 Sugar that is takes to Craft an CAC.

But the Profit Margins Making CAC sell for Profit there is not much of Profit Margin, I actually get a better Profit Margin Crafting EM it is lots cheaper to craft using crops and fruit compared to CAC. But it does cost 100 Sugar. EM Helps me get more Bahm EP on my Shipwreck.

I Liked this Event lovely Graphics on Event Crop too. Like the Cloud Row Gives Bahm EP. But those who have been buying Sugar to Craft CAC will help them spend less on Sugar, Saves Buying CAC Receipe too. I have been playing this game for several years Actually Won the CAC Receipe from Completing the Harvest 2011 Event. That Event was one of best Event i ever did saved me 200 BB.

I not mind using tools and Mill The Sketch Books. Since I have 30,000 Wood Boards in my Barn. The Reason Why i have this many Woodboards I am very Careful Using the Workshop to Craft Coloured Animal Pens/Production Pens or Coloured Production Pens.

Refinements can boost tools Drops on other tools. But Sadly not much to boost Drops of Woodboards. Overall Enjoyed this Event :)

I liked the event overall. I found it to be difficult but I enjoy the challenge. I finished in time but the drop rate was very low. I had to "cheat" and purchase a few markers. The prizes were good. I especially love the CAC cloud row because I'm no where close to level 4 in the confectionery.

Likes: Pretty flowers especially when they are first planted.
Being able to mill on baha
    almost a CAC a day
    nice short crop time
    nice baha ep

Dislikes: This will crash not only the CAC market but also the pumpkin jam, as well as the pumpkin, hazelnut, and onion market because who will buy it when CAC will become so cheap.
No stars? You PROMISED stars on events... this is an event yet it had no stars.

Loathe: 10 hours of harvest only function for 600 drops:mad::mad::mad::mad: totally unacceptable:cry::cry::wuerg::wuerg: my arm is STILL SORE. Dear BP DONT INJURE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked this event. I found it quite easy. I did use 1 CAC but I finished the event nearly 2 days early. The only dislike was having the following event start while this one was still going on (as I'm sure others had not finished it). In fact I finished the geese one before this one ended too(more on that in it's own thread).

This was an excellent event. I loved the graphics, the challenge to get it done and the prizes were terrific. After reading some of the comments, I would like to point out how essential enticing people to spend some real money is to your business. It is torturous to do 1x1 manually, so I have been blowing through my stock of harvester coupons because of my new supply of CAC! I am going to consider buying the harvester with real money. Drop rates were tough, so again I considered buying some. This is a great game, please continue doing what you need to make it a profitable business. I am very grateful to be able to play it for free!

Sorry, I didn't see this until now. I got all I could from those that I could complete. I got (if I remember correctly) 1 paint from 3 boxes. It was a good suggestion. Thankyou for trying to help.

Enjoyed quest. Completed it without too much effort, though I have to admit having several cloud rows, etc all help a great deal.
