This Certain will be very Tough Event to be able to complete it. This Biggest Problem is going to be Drop of Sea Salt. As we need a Total of 1450 Sea Salt to Complete this Event.

But we are going to Struggle to Reap Enough Sea Salt Quickly to be able to Mill Plume Feed as we need 7 Seaweed and 1 Sea Salt. As we need a Constant flow of Sea Salt to Keep Bahamarama Mill Busy Just to Maintain 20 Plume Pools. As a Plume Pool Can be Harvested in 4 Hours or Less using Rune and Buffs and Cloud Row.

Once you donated Salt to be Milled to Make Plume Feed. We are going to have a Problem to be able to Reap at Least 20 Sea Salt, which takes at least 90 Seconds to be Milled Estimate Time just under 30 Mins. Can This Be Done Every 4 Hours. Bear in Mind the Seaweed Takes up to 8 Hours to Grow. So that we would be able to Reap Sea Salt from Harvesting Seaweed Ready to Plant our 20 Plume Pools for the Next 4 Hours.

Therefore there is not much Point to Making more than 20 Plume Pools. Unless you are prepared to Use Supergrow on Comfort Fields to Boost Event Drops Such as Roses Refinements. So that you are able to Maintain Plume Feeds for these Production Pens.

By the Sound of it it might Take 5 or 6 Days to Complete it. Many of Us will only be able to do some of this Event. Also not going to be Easy to Build up stock of 490 Sea Plumes Either.

This is First Ever Event asking for 1490 Sea Salt which is 500 More Event Drops than Recent Event asking for 950 Drops. Also There is no point in using Comfort Fields for this Event. Honestly Speaking you would not make much Progress as Seaweed Takes 8 Hours to grow if you Used Comfort Fields Growing time would be 32 Hours on Seaweed. As we need 17,300 Seaweed. This will certain make Manure Prices go sky high during this Event.

So You Ready need to ask yourself what you are prepared to do and Plan out this Event Well Before you Start this Event. Plus need to Try get a decent amount of Event Drops on First Harvest too. o_O

Hi Keltic, this event is a bit difficult to plan  the drops may be the hardest part. Do you remember how many drops you have gotten the last events? That should help you estimate how much of the event you can do. The next thing you should do is to look at the prizes and make some priorities. Which prize would you like most, and how much does that require.

Don't worry too much about the buffs (excepts CAC of course). If you want to increase the EP you can use Zucchini Apple bread (ZAB) one lasts a day, but it will not help you with the event. The buffs I mentioned reduce time for the stables, they need a gold slot, so you can use at most two of them, but if you also use ZAB, you can only use one. But none of these buffs (except CAC) are essential.

It's very feasible to build as many workshops as you please, because milling the feed will be no problem at all, neither on the milling time side nor on the crops needed side. Let's not portray this event as more complicated than it already is. The caveat resides on the drops (sea salts).

Let's say someone builds 41 workshops. 2 rounds of them will mean 82 feeds. These 2 rounds will take exactly the same time taken by 1 round of the event crop. If both watered, 03:12:00 for each round of workshops, 06:24:00 for 1 round of the event crop. Therefore, 82 feeds should be milled every 06:24:00, needing only 574 event crops for doing so, and taking only slightly over 2 hours to mill in the worst case. Where's the problem? Nowhere, except for the 82 sea salts needed, which, by themselves, mean 30% of the daily minimum average, every 06:24:00. As an additional conclusion, there's no special need for refinements of any kind just for milling feed. (I'll use no refinements at all).

(In my case, that I'll build 24 worshops, I'll need 336 event's crops per event's crop round just for milling feed).

I bet drop rate will be rather high, higher than usual. But we'll see. Anyway, I'll probably mill feed just once a day, with enough drops at hand.

Players should adjust the number of workshops up if they can and see that drop rate is high enough. But they should start with at least 20 of them to be able to achieve everything.

Besides, if the workshop yields at least 1 poo piece -I think it's not told in the OA-, this will help to manure 490 plots for free, once. Time reduction thus achieved (not very big but everything helps) indirectly helps drops a bit in that round.

    Thank-you so much.
Yes, I do not hold hope I will finish, but will go as far as my little moped can on this event and when I putter out I will pull over and watch.
I want to set up like I am going for the finish that way I can see where I fall short then work on that for the next one.

I'll start the event with super grow, both to get the number of starting seeds up, but also for drops. I have just gotten all the refinements for cotton, together with white innocence, fruit cake and the chestnut cloud row I get instant finish of cotton on comfort fields. Some rounds of that will give me enough drops not to worry about them any more.

I think I'll leave a few trees in the magical glade, but use most of the mainland for the crops. So as 12ss12 calculated, I can do two rounds a day and longer crops overnight.

I think maybe I should sacrifice a few more wood boards  and build 25 stables, just to be on the safe side.

I am excited that we get a more challenging event again :D and the prizes are great :D

Mathematically, the 490 Sea plume can be done in 6 days with 15 stalls minimum, assuming that each day is at minimum 16 hours of play, I like Mir suggestion by using 20 stalls, should make the things easier, I will try 22 or 24 so I do not need to be logged all the time, and the buffs with the cloud row should reduce the time, even better, what we need is a good jump start with sea salt, so the famous strategy that was used before should provide that, planting the longest crop tonight (carnation in my case) on 1x1 plots should give us a good start, still I think it is going to be a tough event, and the consumption of tools may be hard for most, anyway it is a new challenge to tackle and see how we fair in this event.

I'll do the same as Mir but use instant roses. They usually give me a good boost on drops.
I have a family reunion on Sat and I'm trying to figure out how to sneak out and find an internet connection somewhere :music:

    I Love a challenge....Good Luck everyone:)

    Just a thought!

    Event crops = 8 hours.
    On CF = 32 hours.

I can not see if someone can complete this event without using any SG effectiveness buffs and consume SG in large numbers.
In other hand, we may use gold slot for shortening animal production buffs.

I think it is good to add some little warnings before using on CF.

Does anyone know if we can use PF on stables? If so this will cut the drops and seaweed needs.

I was not able to get the refinement on roses making them 'instant' finish but they can be done in 35 min so if I find that I am low on drops, I still have that option.

You and me both, I got 4 other refinements but that rose never lands on the time reduce.
Almost the same with the Lilly of the valley, I am getting the stuff all around but what I want, good news I will get the time by default, as I fill every single slot before it! -.-

I just went out and bought up some tree fruit and roses to donate to my trophy. Got one more level up on the plant one so now my LL is up to 27%. Hope it helps as I just raided the barn as well! (An odd strategy but it just might work.)

My silence means confusion and agony. I have trees and bio glue labs that have thrown everything in disarray.
To cap it all I deleted Rose enhancements two days ago. If I get enough drops early, and crops I will buy 41 stables. I will break on Friday and be back Sunday evening so I need a sharp strategy. And drop assists...

Wee I'm so exited about this event and nice prices too.:) I love challenges and I'm planning to go all the way though it might be tough. Not home some of the days.
If I'm short on drops I'll do the instant roses like Mir and hope I'll remember to put out and move my Howies around at every harvest.

    Good luck all:)

Yeesh...well now I know what a hard event looks like. I'll be cherry picking some rewards but no way I'm giving up that many tools when I don't think I will be able to get the drops to complete. This is not one for the newer players but I'm happy to try to get some of the wonder stables and trees out of it.

This is definitely the hardest event I've seen since I started playing last summer! Those drop amounts  :wuerg: o_O. I've set out my action plan for this event so I know exactly what I'm aiming for and in what order as realistically I doubt I'll be able to complete the event (and I have all the fields fully open and all buffs etc. It's getting enough game play and those drasted drops where I think I'll be lacking..and my trophies are at 26%!). I too will miss the first and last few hours due to work.
Can someone please tell me how long the event crop will be when watered and also with manure as well. (Sorry if it's already been stated and I've missed it!)
I do have enough tools to make 20 odd stables although my wood board collection has reduced dramatically just recently after making yellow bat roosts for the train and using them in an event for making something (I think??) so I'll be nearly wiped out depending how many stables I end up building.
And I will be posting in the SOS thread from the get-go (before the event starts actually lol) as I think I'll need all the help I can get!o_O
Good luck everyone. I hope you all get some wonderful rewards and see you at the other side! :p

Need some advice please and quickly! o_O I had already set the glade full of workshops before I saw the event posted so do I leave them running and not harvest them until after work tmr (by which time the event will be well under way) or do I delete them and put in 1x1's with longest growing crop? Which is better for drops? (Most of the workshops are basic/yellow not red/pinks)

Fifi I get really good drops from stables/workshops at least as good as I do from just the 1x1's with a 15-17 hour crop in it. That's just me but one of the experienced players may be a better source of info on that. :)

Wow, yeah well I won't be trying to complete this one as I don't think it's possible for me to do so. I'm glad the CR is not more lucrative so I don't feel so bad about not getting it. ;)

Good luck to everyone taking the challenge on this one!
