Don't let them fool you, every farmer here, seasoned to can't look to the left without CC falling on them, Baby Boom Day turns them all into big kids, everyone love's to see what they will get, what skip will come to them, what is going to make the day on the farm, if today will give them the gem they are waiting for.
Once you go threw a BBD you will fall into the fold, oh yes come on in, we have cookies!

So Sweet_Cassiopeia didn't mean that it is not exciting to try new things. It was just that my sentence looked a bit funny with the wrong word in it.

I Change The Way I do Breeding, Then What I use to do. Did not have enough CC Back then now got Plenty CC in My barn. I only do Breeding During BBD. As you get Better Rewards than Breeding outside BBD. But Breeding Skips is very Random weather it is BBD or Not.

I Now Try Conserve My Stocks of Power Feed for Breeding. So I Actually shop around the Markets for Breeding Bargains. But Bargains are bit Rare Now Since they Introduce Soup and Friends Quest Pushing up Breeding Prices. I am Trying to Make Breeding Progress or Complete Breeding Quests but it is Expensive than it what it use to be.

I Can Complete Chicken, Horse and Goat Breeding if i wanted too but am going to do Soups and Friends Quest First, since it is more rewarding than Breeding Quests.

Now I am Making Good Money on Selling Breeding Cuckoos. Will work on finishing Cuckoo Quest at next BBD.

I just noted, in your experiment you mixed level of animal, I know you just playing around right now, but you may want to read in the faq, mixing animal level can turn out results you will not like.
I think it's in breeding colour, or something like that.

I don't mix, as I was learn't the total it cost for every level in PF, I know I won't risk it.

 

That's true, I could not agree more, and the skips are the secret, sometimes when you get lucky you forget what was the cost.

 

I have been Selling Breeding Cuckoos and Now The Prices of Breeding Cuckoos are going up in price. I will sell more Breeding Cuckoos then wait for next BBD to Get Lucky Skips and Finish off These Quests at Next BBD

Yes Promaster as it is not a Good Idea to Mix The Breeding Animals. It can be very Expensive Risk to. We all have Fun Breeding Animals. Yes many of us Learn from mistakes

Now we have to Stock up on Geese as it going to be the Next Breeding Animal some time in July Breeding Event !!!

 

And don't forget to have your turkeys and goats ready for this month!!

promaster302, what keltic say is true. Don't ever try that.

May be you were lucky in your breeding. Mostly you get animals of less type.
For instance in your breeding 1 roster + 1 silky +2 chickens = 1 silky - you got 1 silky. Lost 2 chickens, 1 roster and 2 power feeds. It might have been worse. You might get roster. So then your silky is lost too. Like keltic said See FAQ about breeding. This has been spoken about in it.

 

What is a "skip"?

 

A skip is an animal that skips the level you are breeding. Say you are breeding chickens you would usually get Roasters but a skip could be anything from a Silky to a Golden hen. Most skips are just 1 or 2 levels but the top level skips do happen.
