Open invite to a Chat party tomorrow!!

Hi guys!

A friend of mine told me (and asked me to pass the news along) that there will be a chat party tomorrow (or later today depending on where in the world you live) at noon MST... which (as long as my math is correct) would be on Tuesday at 8pm (20:00 CEST) ~ which would be 4 hours before gifts reset.


There are rumors that there may be cake and candles involved (so plan to bring a dish to pass and a gallon or two of your favorite ice cream!) Oh and chocolate... lots of chocolate!! The person who we are celebrating does not mind it known that tomorrow is her birthday, but unless she posts here, you will need to show up to figure out who she is!


I do hope our dear teddy will be on hand to do quality control... (mods please let her know ~ also feel free to stop by if you like!) Although, I do hope if teddy can make it that we do not have a repeat of the wedding she once officiated at... (as I hear that she ran off with the cake!)
(I wasn't there, but do wonder if it wasn't chocolate... !)

Just a reminder to those who are new to chat: Of the two English chat servers, we tend to hang out EN one, not the US one. So if you normally log in under the US flag (far right corner of farmerama login screen), don't forget to logout of Farmerama, change your flag to the Aussie or English one, login to Farmerama, and THEN log into chat!


I'm not sure if I will be able to make it or not, but if I can, I hope to see you there!

Can someone help me? I have gone to the other flag, opened chat, see friends and such to the left, my name to the right, conversation area in the middle, but nothing "works" beyond getting there. Is there something I am missing? I really would like to attend this afternoon!

 

Maybe try using a different browser? I'm no good at figuring these things out but I have picked up that trick. Sometimes things just don't work right for some reason but switching sometimes fixes it.

 

Make sure you're in the global room (tabs on top), labmommy. My name should be on the right now, and I see CJ's also, but I won't actually "be" there for a bit yet. If you see our names, you should be good to go.

 

Hey labmommy ~ I went to the EN chat and it says you are offline. Did you logout of your farm? That will automatically kick you out of chat. (So will refreshing fields lol!)


At the moment no one else is in chat... so that might be part of the problem. (The list of people on the left are all those in your buddy list. The ones with the blue "+" sign are friends of yours logged in to their farms that you can invite to chat).
