I hide mine in frozen veggie bags in the freezer, inside larger pans with lids, and in the seasonings cabinet. Nobody else cooks around here! LOL

Thanks for the laugh of the day, labmommy. And the hint when we have a meeting at your place so we all know where to look! xD

Sounds like it is safe in the kitchen! Until we all come over :p

Well the trick is of course not to hide it all in one place and to have a decoy. So the little fun size snickers and kit kats will go in the decoy hiding place, they find that and think they have found the stash. While I've got the really good stuff secreted away elsewhere. ;)

Labmommy your kitchen idea is a good one and I've done something similar. I buy large bags of dried fruit that are resealable and I've been known to hide stuff in the prune bag once it's empty. Funny how no one will open that one voluntarily. xD

My desk is off limits to everyone though so I tend to put stuff I absolutely want hidden in one of my "confidential" labeled file folders. That is pretty much 100% full proof.

I put my Thorntons chocs inside an old bonios box - not been found yet! And the decoy stash is in a box labelled chocs in the cupboard!

You just have to think like a kid! When you were young would you have been reaching into the freezer for a bag of broccoli? LOL xD
I stock up on the Choceur bars when I go to Aldi (the most wonderful grocery store ever) to do the general pantry and fresh veggie restock. They are very good! I finished off a raisin and nut bar made by them last night.
It's always very fulfilling to walk out into the living room with a huge chocolate bar and see the looks on the faces of my family!!
Another place I hide is in an old shortbread cookie tin. I am the only one around here who likes them. The rest of the family will only eat my homemade shortbread, and it goes in the cookie jar.

Such a list of hiding places! I'm not telling where mine are.

I knew there was a reason I don't usually buy chocolate covered pretzels. It's been so long I had almost forgotten that I find them to be completely addicting. I'm pretty good about having one piece or a small amount of chocolate and not just gorging myself on the stuff. I have however just consumed the better part of a bag of pretzels. :wuerg:
I think its the salt/chocolate combo I can't resist either that it was due to the boredom of scrolling through the endless trade lists. :p

I think I may need to hide the rest of them from myself. xD

    Happy Birthday, Clashstrummer!

Sorry it has taken so long to get out the meeting minutes! Things have been crazy around here with all the sales, MM, new event and BBD!

Because of all the other activities, many of the members were too tired to participate in the chocolate pudding wrestling. Instead, we all just "bobbed" for chocolate and called it a beauty mask. We will try again next meeting. Many members just paused long enough to get a chocolate caffeine fix before going off to plant more Monster Pumpkins. Hmm, I wonder what it would taste like to dip them in chocolate? Otherwise, there wasn't much to report about here.

Hopefully all the members had good luck during the BBD and completed enough of the event to get what they wanted out of it. I want to report, your leader managed to complete the event, get 2x bee cuckoos from wooly-snouts, 2x punkoos from regular cuckoos. The best skip was a swashbuckaroo from wooly-snouts.

If you are still working on the current event, good luck. If you have completed it, time to get your goose pens out as well as re-stock your farms!

    :D

I saw somewhere too that we will have goose breeding. Are we sure about it?

More news ! A Geese breeding event will follow in 4-6 weeks.

Arielh- the above statement was in the FAQ New Flock on the Block dated 1 June so looks like they will be July's breeding event.
