Feedback Ocean Day

This was an event that I went right down to the wire for...41 minutes left and I harvested the last 8 Plumes.
Lost about 40 hours sleep, 300 powerfeed, and my mind. Gawd! Kinda hard to explain to co-workers you're out of it because of a Plume (a what?). I'll know better next time...until the next time I say this.

 

Loved this event and the challenge. Please use the pods for another event or better yet, let us keep some next time. They are so beautiful and give such excellent BEP! Regarding tool requirements, I liked that my tool stockpile (of indecision on what to build) has actually proven useful. Even though I started late, because I was able to build 38 pods, I actually finished. Going forward, an event using floral wire, herbal elixir or mandrakes would be extra nice too. I love long crops, eight hours works for me. Short crops require too much logging in and out - comfort fields seem so wasteful that I try to avoid using them. I used to prefer specific prizes to the mystery ones for helping to direct what my goals are, but I had such good fortune this time I will welcome mystery items next time. I finally got a cat stable, the extra trees and stables I didn't need made great gifts and getting an Amherstia tree was awesome.

 

I really liked this event. It's nice to have a harder event once in a while, and growing the plumes meant it was trickier to work out how far we'd progressed, which meant I had to think about it more. The Baha EP from the plume pools was a particularly nice bonus, and I like the random prizes.

 

Hi!

Liked:
- The 'hard' rating was included in the FAQ (and therefore I knew from the beginning that I would need CAC to get the crops done) which rewards mid-to-upper level players for sticking with the game.
- Nice mix of crops & event animals, with the crops limited to the mainland and the animals limited to Baha. For those of us with Baha open, this meant that we could focus each part of the farm to a specific purpose, and there was less chance of forgetting part of the event.
- The plume pools. Soooo pretty, and such nice BEP. I wish we could have kept them.
- The 8-hr crop fit in very well with RL, and I could plant other long-term crops over night for the drops.

Didn't Like:
- The crop design. This seaweed was "blah", especially given that there are some very attractive seaweeds in nature, and even the plain ones look nicer when drifting under water.
- Losing the plume pools. I reeaally wanted to keep mine, even if just to look at.

Overall: Liked! Nice job BP! (Could you please bring back the plume pools? )

The requirements were too many and it was difficult to complete this event.

 

Great event, loved the challenge.

 

Really challenging event, I too would like to have kept the plume pools - so pretty.
