The Ultimate Commoner Club- Proud Owner of basic stalls & workshops.

    Preamble :
Since there are clubs for "The Mighty Red Barons And Baronesses", "The Pink Royals Club" & "The Royal Yellow Club'', this Club feels that it is high time an association is formed for the welfare and benefits of the commoner who has ordinary pens and workshops.
    ;)xDxD
This Club of Commoner has no President or Secretary. We will organise ourselves.:D Of course with the supervision of Mods

    Membership Qualification :
To be a member of this Club it is very very important that a farmer has at least one basic pen or workshop. Else you would be denied this club membership. This condition will be strictly implemented. If anyone joins this Club with false details they will be removed from this Club without any mercy.
    :pxD

    Objective:
1.Since we are the commoners we will try to be useful. The aim of this thread is to suggest strategies, tips and suggestions for acquiring orange, red and pink stalls and workshops. So that a farmer ultimately acquires such pens & workshops for all animals. Not yellow stalls and workshops.

    2. We are commoners. Therefore while giving suggestions etc, we have to keep in mind that amount a commoner spend on BBs will be less and his CCs would also be reasonable.

    3. We will not be trying to acquire yellow pens. Instead we will concentrate on orange, then red or better skip and go to pink. Strategies for about acquiring a pink pen/workshop easily.

    Logo with Slogan:

    Cultivate, Grow & Feed

As a farmer we cultivate crops, grow animals and feed the world:)

    Method of working:
    1. Getting & Giving Suggestions, tips, strategy etc.,
    2. Posting our doubts, questions regarding the objectives for clarification.
    3. and similar pattern of working.

All the above said will amended on trial & error basis for the benefit of the commoners except the name & the objectives.

Let me start the functioning of this Ultimate Commoner Club,

    My initial suggestions are :-
    1. You cannot overnight acquire everything.
    2. Initially try to acquire orange pens/workshops (herein after referred as p/w). They are easier to get. For the price of one you get two benefits from such p/w. Also you get 2 manure which you can sell. Your animal reserve will increase too.
    3. To acquire orange pens -
    i) Building orange pens are easier than orange workshops
ii) You can buy the necessary breeding animal in market with CCs as their cost is affordable.
iii) You can breed them during Baby Boon.
iv) You can get orange, red, pink p/w through San Gigantica Express Event.
    v) or through G&T Event.

Everyone is welcome to share tips, suggestion, strategies etc., ask questions......

Nice idea 12ss12 :) I can see where I have been going wrong now - growing the world, feeding the crops and trying to cultivate my animals (those pigs refuse to use a knife and fork!!!)
I have lots of basic p/ws so count me in :)

    I like your objectives 12ss12 :D

Especially the two first. I have some comments to the third one though: In general I agree, yellow stables are not much good, but there are exceptions :) For me it is the chameleon especially. A basic chameleon stable takes over 12 hours, and without buffs it can't be harvested twice a day. But the yellow chameleon takes 11 hours with water and can be harvested twice a day. To me that is a big difference. Wouldn't orange stables be better? That may be, but we have to start somewhere :p I can afford to buy many yellow chameleon stables, but getting orange ones (or red or pink) takes a while. In the mean time the yellow will serve me well :) Now if you decide to go for a yellow stable (not workshop), the best option is to buy it in the shop for CC, not build it in the city :)

oops, forgot to apply for membership :music:

    PS. very funny Chris :DxDxD

I think this is a great idea especially for the newer players as we all have to walk before we can run.

I don't mind the yellow workshops as really any sort of time reduction on those is a good thing in my mind. Now I certainly wouldn't build one as I do think that is a waste of all resources but I do use the ones I've won from the farm wheel and mystery stables or had gifted to me. Well except for the dairies and chicken egg farms, those are pretty useless all around.

I'm a very big fan of orange stables and they are easier to get than the red or pink. I know lot's of people like the chickens specifically but I'm a big fan of all the others as well. They may take a bit longer than the normal stable but getting the extra animal is worth it to me, not to mention the additional EP as well.

I'm on the fence about orange workshops. They actually take some doing to build either by breeding or buying the needed animals. Not sure they are worth it in the long run and would be glad to hear input on this subject. At this moment I could potentially build 2 orange rabbit shearing sheds for example, however I already have 3 yellow sheds and they seem to be getting the job done pretty effectively. So instead of building the sheds I'm thinking of continuing to bred up the rabbit line instead. It just seems to make more sense to me then having to breed that many scary rabbits again in order to keep going. I'm thinking in the long run I would rather have the red rabbit stables than the orange sheds.

with all these events giving free wonder trees and stables, prices at the market are changing. is bp reballancing the game in this manner? ive only built 2 types of workshops, bio glue(5) and mustache factory(2). my strategy going forward will be to move away from all stables and workshops. to be replaced with only trees. premium gold or platinum is reasonably priced at 6-8 dollars/month for auto harvest. with today's prices on the market its getting harder and harder to justify the effort needed to grow animals and crops.

12ss12 it is an Interesting Concept Foundation of Common Sense Farming. There are Four ways to obtain an Orange/Red or Pink Animal Stable or Production Pen. But to Obtain an Orange/Red or Pink Production Pens is always more Expensive or Harder to Obtain than compared to Animal Stable

To Build an Orange/Red/Pink Animal Pen or Production Pen. Cannot be Achieved without doing any Breeding or Not have Lots of CC in Their Farm Bank to be able to buy the needed Breeding Animals for build these Pens. But you can Acquire Them From 1 ) Barter and Gift Event, 2) Farmerama Wheel Spins, 3) Mystery Wonder Stables or 4) Completing Quests or Events.

In General it is not Productive to use Production Pens for Two Reasons it Requires 1 Animal Feed or 1/2 Animals Per Production Pen, With Exception of Mustache Saloons Need 8 Cuckoos. But have much less growing time of 7 Hours Compared to 24/36 Hours Production Time/ The Longest Production Time is 48 Hours. There is Church Bouquet and Guava Jam and 1 Cloud Row can Reduces Production Time in the Buffs.

But for Animal Pens, we have two cloud rows and Cheese Balls and Valentine Pots Buffs to help Reduce Animal Reaping Times. Having Animal Yellow Pens Really Does Help Some of them are bit pricey to buy in the Stores. But in Long Run it does pays off. As I did buy 128 Yellow Chameleon Pens it did cost me over Million CC to Buy. With This Method I can Reap them Sooner and build up Stocks Quicker.

Orange Animal Pens is Good to Have and they do give you two Animal Pens for Each Orange Pen. But they cannot be Brought using CC. They can also be Build in the Workshops but bit Pricey. But Affordable. I have Been Build Orange Camel Pens and still build them when i can. For Red or Pink Animal Pens you have to be an FOCD Farmer who prepared to invest chuck of dosh into this Game.

Those Laid Back Farmers can Acquire these Coloured Pens in due course, But Completing Quests or Events through Eventual Gains of hard Work and Luck.

My Goal is to get as Many Orange Camel Pens as I can for the Island. On Main Farm i am happy to use Yellow Animal Pens. Any Orange Red or Pink Animal Pens is a Bonus. It is very very hard and Very Very Expensive to Craft an Pink Production Pen. Reaping Animals from Pink Animal Pens than Pink Production Pens had always been more Effective.

After reading this, I couldn't stop myself from laughing. Especially the pigs. How did you try to cultivate ? Gave them dresses ? Combed their hair ? Did you ask them to plait it or leave it free flowing ? I am really curious. May be they didn't like the dress. Try giving them latest fashion. They might then be willing to use knife & fork. And this is really important ;) did you give them a cooling glass to match with their dresses. Wait wait, what about their slippers ?xD

-Mir85- - I completely agree with you. I did not include yellow because as you said, they can be bought for CCs. Not much strategy is needed. It was really good of you to point out not to build yellow pens but buy them

Clashstrummer - I got your point. Build orange/red pens rather than workshop upgrades so that you can easily multiply the number of animals you have.

Yes. That's a good strategy. You can sell them whenever there is a price rise for them. And you can buy the products when they are cheap with the money and maintain a stock of them.

Mooboy - I understood what you said. I too don't have any pink production pens. Only some pink animal pens. Oranges - I have lots for each animals. Most of them I got from the train. I utilize all my CCs when the train comes. Sell whatever I have sell and gain lots of CCs for the train.
feelfree2win - Easy way to play, isn't it. No need to grow crops, make feeds etc.;)
