I have limited time the next couple of days due to RL, as well as I do not have the products (riding lessons and paint palettes) on hand in the quantity needed for this event for BW so my strategy there will be to do Levels 1 and 2 Silver to get 2 cork trees and call it done.

I did try to go back and review other 'baby' breeding events and this one seems to be the most product, PF, and breeding animal intensive (unless I miscounted which is possible) and so not sure how much I will do on pnp either.

 

You beat me to it, pnp. Did a better job, too . I completely missed the paint palettes. Is it 2300 or 2600 potatoes, tho? Will in all likelihood finish this on spots, will have to see on bearbabe. Good luck everyone!

 

Thank you puppienponies for putting this list together. I think the potatoes should read 2600 not 2300. I am looking at my stores and the paint palettes look like a real stretch for me. Ouch. Guess I have my work cut out for me

 

Hi PnP,
are the PF rewards included in your math? We get 95 PF as rewards in lvl 4 and 5.

It is a nice CR. But not one who would make me cry if I don't have it.

We need to get the trees fast, so we can get enough of the cork. Will there be a BBD?

I'm not sure but unless one has huge stockpiles of paint pallets and rodeo lessons those workshops are so slow only people with quite advanced workshops even have a chance of getting the needed product made to complete this quest... kinda wondering what the devs were thinking asking for so many of products that are so slow for the workshops to make... best of luck to those with FOCD... you guys might have your work cut out for you this time

as to the Baby Boom Day... last time I asked the more experienced people said there is ALWAYS a BBD associated with these events... one just has to wait for it... it usually takes several days to show up.

I completely agree with you. That's what I intend to do. Just do silver challenge of level 1 & 2, get 2 cork trees and say I have completed the event.

There is no paint palettes in my market. Its grey. I did not check the riding lessons. In other forums there was a mention that BBD will accompany the event simultaneously unlike the previous BBD events.

 

I have edited the amount required for potatoes. It is 2600. I overlooked the 300 needed in Silver. Sorry.

I did not consider the PF in the rewards. Just did not have the time to do the different possibilities.

There usually is a BBD for breeding events like this so I would wait and see.

I would agree that this event is targeted to those who have stocks on hand as workshops take forever. My market is completely sold out of both riding lessons and paint and even if there were any there, the price would be beyond what I would want to pay. I left myself short on BW since I had been working on product quests.

Now to BP......what are you thinking????? As previously mentioned the paint pallets are liable to be a problem....why????...because we just got done with MM & many used them to make terror bouquets & crypt vases.....AND NOW THERE ARE NONE in the market. I have checked over & over & even if there are supposed to be a few for sale by the time I get in the list is empty.

AND another cloud row....at least it isn't in the last level (although it may as well be since very few will be able to finish this to use it). I know I will not be able to finish as there is no money avail to buy my way out at this time.

If you don't already have the products, any of the two required but especially paint-palettes, and you're too far away from the objective, the only way to get them on time (because I doubt market will be of great help, if any) to fully complete the event is to PFing the related workshops. This means 238 PFs are needed just for the baby things and, then, more for the workshops. Fortunately, 95 PFs are in the list of prizes, but it's hard to get them. (And don't forget almost 100% surely this weekend there'll be a Baby Boom, which also means PF for that).

I had no time yet to study the list of requirements vs. prizes to analyze what I will skip (I'll have to). But it'll be a hard call, since cork trees -their fruit, in fact- are as essential as paint-palettes and seem to be scattered here and there. Turbo-mulch and Suzy-spray will be needed, for sure.

So, in summary, unless you already have all the products, both PF and turbo-mulch/Suzy-spray stocks at hand will determine how able you'll be to finish the event completely.

The CR is really poor for such an effort. But I'll figure out some compromise I'll be comfortable with. When I'm done with current crops, I'll start the paint-palette production frenzy (I'm OK on riding lessons). I need 68 of them only to get to those 105....

Anyway, I'll try to do as much as possible of it. I'll aim at the XXLs and the PFs as a priority.

p.s. I was suspicious yesterday, when riding lessons became rare in the market.

 

Will do L1 Silver to get to the juicy part.
I only need 8 Speckled Goats to clear L2.
Then will plant the trees with Auto-Harvest Off over the weekend. Monday will be milling time. And donate, breed, donate, breed, donate.
Not sure about the Pain Palettes yet as I'm not able to get into game...

I didn't see a rating on this one but I'd have to say at least hard, maybe super hard.
I'll work on the first two steps to get the trees but otherwise, there is no way I can complete the majority of the quest. Paint palettes are definitely the big hurdle. The cloud row is meh. Bring on a BBD so I can work on other things.

BlackCaviar I find this event very difficult too. I hope we will get a BB event but still we need other things.

 

Yikes! I don't have anywhere near the amount of products required and even if I did, I don't think I'd waste them on this event. The prizes just aren't worth it. You'll be better off selling them at the inflated prices in the market. I'll take advantage of the BBD this weekend to do some regular breeding.

I'll do enough to get a cork tree or two, but that's it. I'll use this as a money maker instead.

I have all the products and have been stocking up on the animals for some time now. But WOW 105 "Pain Palettes" are going to be hard to part with. I don't think the cloud row is that great
Even with my FOCD I think I will pick and choose carefully.

I have heard this rumor too. BBD may start with the beginning of the event....I hope so..

 

Soooooo, yeah, I'm sitting this one out. I have only 1 paint factory. There is no possible way for me to do this event. I'll be watching from the sidelines cheering you all on
