Oh WOW. This game is officially trying to make FOCD deadly. was saving up boards to build a peanut butter factory. They're gone. Made another paint factory. The rodeos are in full swing on my farm, come on down and see the action. It's not so much all of the stuff it takes to complete, but the rewards...I'll be back later after I do the math and see what is doable. Good luck to all participating on this one. You did great, PnP, no reason to feel otherwise. I completely missed the paint palettes needed, wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't posted them. At least not until milling time. Hope RL eases up a bit and you can enjoy some time on the farm without feeling hectic about it.

 

I'm umming and arring about this one! I have a fair bit of the requirements but I totally agree that the product requirements seem very steep for the allocated rewards especially the Paint Palettes (which also happen to still sell for a half decent price usually)!!! And the CR is nothing to shout about (have we just been too spoiled with some of the more generous rewards of recent times?!!) For the first time in months I am considering sitting it out (and hoping to sell well on the market!) or doing very little of it. I could really do with the harv helper coupons as my harvester sub ran out so I'm scratting about trying to get some coupons to keep me running! Hmmm, will have a think on this one instead of jumping straight into planning mode! (My FOCD is having a slanging match with the logical part of my brain..)

EDIT- Have already started selling Paint Palettes...they're flying off the market. Think the decision has been made

 

Yeesh, this one is not for the faint of heart. My objective is to do L1 and up to gold on L2 for the trees. I've got enough riding lessons for that at least and 6 trees is a good amount. I'm thinking anything else I do I will sell as both riding lessons and paint pallets are over 10k on my market already. I've been raising turkeys and goats and I think I may start selling them as well.

Sadly I would love the 2x1 deco item simply because I used to play semi professional darts. Don't think it's a possibility though.

 

So not prepared for this one on either the riding lessons or the paint pallets. I'm hoping to score some trees out of it and that is about it. Goats and turkeys are still cheap in my market as well so not sure if I will even make money out of this one or not.

Wow, that are quite some numbers on the products Guess I am jumping on the "Get-some-trees-train" and then call it a day.

 

Hands up if you are now groaning at the amount of workshops you dumped on the train! I got rid of loads of mine Have all the goats milk and riding lessons, animals won't be a problem, but the pain palettes and right after I'd been putting my florist to good use!

 

HEADS UP: Need of paint-palettes MAY not be 105 but 27, if the Italian FAQ is correct :

"se ne ottengono 4 per volta macinando i seguenti ingredienti: 1 tavolozza colori (produzione collegata ai tacchini) e 4 sughero", which means: by milling 1 paint-palette + 4 cork fruits, 4 colourful corkboards are obtained.

I'll now check in the German and Spanish FAQs. Mmmm This one is going to be a Toughie Event. It is asking for lots of Paint Pallets which are needed to mill Cork Boards. Along with the Needed Corks.

As it is going to need fair amount of Power Feeds to Complete this event Total of 236 Power Feeds in Total. But 105 Paint Pallets is going to put in huge dent into our Barn of Paint Pallets or Drain our Barns completely of Paint Pallets. Without Doubt they will go sky high in price. Also for Turkeys Feeds will go very high too almost sold out in my market already as Paint Pallets almost sold out too.

But is it the Corks they will be Tricky to get as we need total of 420 Corks for The Whole Event. But we can only Reap Corks From the Corks Trees we place in our Farms. As we can get 4 Corks per Tree can be reaped Every 12 Hours but this can be reduced using Suzy Mulch. We can only get total of 12 Cork Trees, 6 XL Cork Trees and 3 XXL Cork Trees.

We can get all the Baby Turkeys and Baby Goats in no time really but it the Corks that will takes it time to get 420 Corks in Six Days Duration of this Event. Plus it Takes 6 Minutes of So to Make 1 Cork Board using 1 Paint Pallet and 4 Corks.

My Objective to get all of 12 Corks Trees, 6 XL Corks Trees and 3 XXL Cork Trees ASAP then go back to unlock The Bahm EP Giver and Cloud Row. Which is not that Great Cloud Row. This is not got to help Farmers who have little stock of EP givers for cloud row. It is Becoming a Newer Problem for those who have little of them in the Barn. As we are filling up cloud rows quicker than obtaining These EP Givers that are needed to fill this cloud row

2x2 Giver can be brought from the stores small active Volcano for 2500 CC. 1x1 Water Tower for 250 cc or you can get your neighbour to send you 1x1 Flower Wheel borrow or a 1x1 Wilson for Those who not got any givers to put in cloud row

 

German and Danish FAQ says 105 so I think the Italians are dreaming nice dream though

 

No. Take a look at the image of the mill in the German FAQ. The French FAQ as shown by Mir below says the exact same thing as the Italian one. It seems it is indeed 1 paint-palette + 4 cork fruits to get 4 coulourful corkboards.

I've been concentrating on leveling up in the artisan village...paint palets going to flower pots etc. I may breed turkeys just to get a red or MAYBE...a pink pen...but sitting this one out. Will still gift the event gifts to my neighbors though....will also accept event gifts..

I agree cork will be the real obstacle to completing this event, so the real race is to get to the trees. I also will have to decide quickly if I am going all in on this one, as it will mean starting now using a lot of power feed to speed up my workshops. It is hard to resist given all those power feed prizes at the end.

 

I said I would go and do the math and come back with my strategy. I've gone through 5 pages in my little notebook here, and I have come to the conclusion that the people at BP are out of their minds!!

HERE IS WHAT I WILL DO

LEVEL 1
All in. I like stickers. They aren't worth a darn thing. But I like them. I have a goat milk tree that I traded for during G&T. I will spend 60 of my PF (that I make on my own, hardly ever buy, and do so without a mill subscription) to make the 30 house turkeys. When I make those house turkeys I will get the baby turkeys.
So, for level one I really only spend the 60 PF to get 26,600 EP, 21,200 CC, 6 stars, and my sticker.

LEVEL 2
This is where they start to lose me. ALREADY.

My personal plan is to do the silver and gold levels only. I won't spend any PF because I have the 16 speckled goats with some extra to sell if the prices go high. I have the 1100 potatoes that I will need. I have 3 rodeo ranches out to get the rest of the 12 riding lessons I will need.
(I am ONLY doing this for the trees. There was that veiled threat of not having visibility on future opportunities to acquire them.)
For my limited efforts I will receive 12,700 EP, 11,000 CC, 6 cork oaks, 8 TM , and 3 stars.

HERE is where they lose their dang minds. For the diamond level they want more than DOUBLE the riding lessons, along with more of the other items (than are required for the silver and gold layers COMBINED) for the SAME AMOUNT of trees awarded in the silver and gold!?!?!? HAHA THEY really must think WE are crazy!! Those riding lessons, IF I were inclined to sell, are going for as much as 7600 each on my market right now. If past market fluctuations during events are any indicator, that price will rise.

THAT'S IT! END OF EVENT FOR ME!!!

LEVEL 3

Just look at the pitiful rewards for level 3. Paint is selling for as much as 11,200 on my market right now. But I'm supposed to make something with them and turn them in for some helper coupons, CAC, and tree upgrades!? ERM, no thanks. I LIKE coupons , but they aren't necessary. I get free CAC from my CR and I buy when I see it go under 50,000 CC in my market, so I'm set there. And tree upgrades? Whatever. There is not one single reward in this entire level that appeals to me. NOT ONE!

LEVEL 4

NO. Just...NO. See above Re the paint product, look at what the CR gives you, and barely a handful of PF!?!? I WAS born at night, but it wasn't last night.

LEVEL 5

It's just more of the same at this point. BP wants me to give, but I really don't GET anything!!! Sure, I'd like to have the dartboard dudes. They just really aren't worth it for me.

I truly wish everyone going for this all the best. I quit after level 2. This event really just doesn't do it for me. I will be using my PF for other breeding goals.

I remember not being able to complete quests because my level just wasn't there. This is the first time I have DECIDED not to complete an event. <---- (And will actually stick to it !)

I also see, that 1 paint palette and 4 cork are needed for one milling. Haven't seen something different from the Germans. (Wish I had)

One cork oak gives 4 corks. So with one tree, 105 harvest would be needed. With only lvl2 , 4 1/2 days of harvest are needed. If I'm not completely of with my math. Which is very much possible.
