Feedback Summer Giveaway

Love the summer calendar of surprises. Thank you so much, the prizes have been great. A belated thank you for my favorite prize from the last calendar of prizes. The Santa Doze that was given in December has spared me from being completely broke on too many occasions to count. (Santa Doze gives 2412 cc and it was the big final prize for unlocking all of the Advent calendar prizes.)

 

Nice page set up, vary eye easy.
Enough can not be said about the gifts, to give one everyday, that is a sweet idea, thanks for it. Great new people can have a prizze everyday, and the seasoned players can take it easy for a change <doing there own, helping new players and taking care of old friends, they do a lot.>
I love the set-up, enough time for every days prize.

I think to give an extra reward to those farmers who play everyday is a first class incentive.
I would like to add though that perhaps a way of getting missed days could be offered as some players do not always have internet access.

 

Read all the positive comments and agree that it is nice to receive this free stuff.
On the negative side it would have been nice if you could buy a missed day with a bonus buck because you get the extra ones for the week and then the main prize if you collect all the coconuts. Some of us don't have internet access everyday.

The summer giveaway is a very nice gesture and it's truly appreciated.

 

I really agree that we should be able to buy a day with bonus bucks because life happens and players shouldn't be penalized especially if they are just missing 1 or 2 from an entire 30 day event. A computer mishap, a problem where they need to do something else or whatever. I can see the point of not letting someone come in and buy the calendar and not even attempt to log in each day but for those that have missed here and there and they regularly log in is just a tremendous injustice. I am only missing 2 clouds rows right now, both because of vacations. This will be my third one missing and to miss it because of a computer problem just makes me really not want to even play any more. I am even rethinking buying all the cloud rows for just the BB like the several recent ones. Since my cloud row collection will not be complete, why bother at all.

 

I just love the gifts. What a wonderful gesture. I can only add that some people who are loyal players, play everyday, and love this game, sometimes "life happens" and miss a coconut. They are also some who cannot get internet access. There is severe weather here lately and we loose power quite often (sometimes for 24 - 48 hrs). I worry I will not be able to log in and loose the grand prize. Maybe there could be some way to help them out. I'm NOT saying let people buy the whole bunch of coconuts when they don't play everyday but it seems too strict of a punishment for those people who miss one or two due to circumstances out of their control. But all in all it is a wonder gift. I just love my farm! And a big shout out to all of the support team. You guys/gals are all great!!

 

Lots of players think they have unlocked a coconut, when they look the next day it is not unlocked. BP have said this is not possible, the player just hasn't unlocked it.
Please BP could you come up with some way of us being able to unlock the ones we haven't done on time?

I like the idea behind this event, and looove the free gifts (some of which were quite well-planned, such as the PF during BBD). However, I don't like that we can't unlock any missed coconuts (I haven't missed any, but others have and it wasn't usually their fault). It would be fairer if there was some way of allowing players to pay for missed coconuts, but only within a set time frame.

For example:

Coconuts on row 2 can be opened for free on their respective days, but players have to pay BB to open a missed one before the end of the row (maybe more expensive for each day past the coconut's "ripeness"? So that if you open a coconut a day later, you pay 2* BB, but if you open the same coconut three days late you pay 6* BB.). Once the next row has started, missed coconuts on earlier rows are permanently locked, to prevent players from opening the entire calendar on the last day for *profit*.

Please, just make sure the 'unopened coconut' glitch/bug does not visit me. I log in daily, and have no way of avoiding it. Please, I beg. You've been doing well so far, don't spoil the fun. Please...

 

I just read the tech announcement about unlocking coconuts. For the advent calendar, players were upset that if they missed a daily prize, they would have to pay to unlock it with BB as it was viewed that it was not in the spirit of Christmas or giving as many people may not be able to collect their gift due to the holidays and possible travel plans. Now players are upset that it appears coconuts are opened but then returned to unopened status and no possible way to unlock them (i.e. cannot pay to open them).

I would suggest that the collection process be removed -- although I really like clicking on the prize and seeing the surprise-- and that when a player logs in (can be verified with logs) that we receive a pop up message (like you do with PF from neighbors who purchase large PF bundles or the daily prize you get from Rent a Friend) with the daily prize listed. I don't know if this would be more helpful or not....

 

I think it will be helpful because we can make a print screen and have a proof they can not contest. And so they have to give the missed coconut back.
I'm happy I don't have this problem on my farm and I hope it will stay 'clean'.
