How the Weather in Your Neck of the Woods?

kmellish, I'd go for the second set of options!! It's sunny and warm here today too. Last day of school, so I am getting everything ready for a BBQ early, cooking at noon, and relaxing the rest of this early summer day away!

 

Just 'crawled' in from my 'second option' .... Book was not read, but wine was drunk and much enjoyment had from the warmth of the sun and listening to my feathered companion verbally abusing the neighbours and local wildlife ..... I think he might have learnt a few new words? Hubby now cooking the steaks ... what a life !!! Hope tomorrow is the same

 

Gorgeous and sunny here too. Woohoo! Currently having a very civilised G n T and an ice cream from the ice cream van man (who smirked when I legged it and ended up first in the queue!).

Raining yet again here. Preparing for the possible tropical storm that may hit us tonight and tomorrow. Anyway it goes down we are going to get at least another 3 inches and possibly a foot of rain over the next 24 hours. More flooding is on the way I hope to still be here and dry come Wednesday. We are on high ground but you never know when there is a storm involved.

 

Yeeks Clashstrummer ..... How awful !!! I will be thinking of you and hoping it is no more than 3 inches !! Dull here today... warm, overcast and extremely high pollen count ... the contacts feel like those sugared pastilles in eyes So obnoxious parrot and I are staying in and arguing over what to watch on the tv .... If what I put on is not noisy enough for him he feels obliged to add his own 'sound effects'

 

I love hearing about Max's antics! It always makes me chuckle.

We finally have some rain. It has been hot and dry and the yard is turning brown so this rain is very welcome right now. Unfortunately, it came down so hard that I don't know how much soaked into the hard ground (cracks almost an inch wide) and how much just ran off.

I love hearing about your bird kmellish! I looked some up on YouTube! Then I immediately begged the hubs for one! He's looking for a breeding pair of Yorkies for me instead. He's afraid the bird would repeat us. We joke and say terrible things to one another all of the time.
It rained here last night, so it is going to be hot and humid today. I'll be inside, finding excuses to not go outside!

 

My precious snow is gone.

Now I just have the nasty heat that makes me come back from runs looking like I just took a really hot shower. We have the occasional thunderstorm, too. I wish my house was big enough that I could run laps in it.

 

LOL Labmommy .... DO NOT GET ONE !!!!! They do repeat and copy and you only get two emotions with them ..... 50% of the time you could cheerfully throttle them and the other 50% of the time you are laughing at them .... Having said that, the horrible bag of feathers is exceptionally good company for me but not sure the dogs would agree with that ..... Nice and sunny here today and we are starting to clip the sheep so hope it lasts ...

Beautiful here today...about 48 F and rainy. Considering it has been hovering in the 90s and close to 100, this is much appreciated opportunity to cool down the house, and myself . Unfortunately, not supposed to last longer than today.

 

Doing its usual trick in Wales i.e. here, have some Sun and just when you get comfy with a good book it chucks it down with rain for 5 mins and then out comes the sun again, just to torment you! And to top it off - no tennis to watch .

 

Figures... Sunny, warm and low humidity... I have to work on a Sunday.

The weather in my "neck of the woods" is about to CHANGE!! I have suddenly stumbled upon a ticket to my home town!! I'll be going from Texas to North Carolina tomorrow. I don't know how long I will stay, I might not even be able to get to the game...they are not now, and never will be interested in the internet!!! We're talkin' back-woods country people here! (I might not be playing Farmerama, but I'll sure be living it!) I am super excited!!! Who has a week on the farm (game) like I just had, followed by a plane ticket from the husband out of the blue like that? I'll se y'all when I see y'all, and I'll try not to twitch too much from the lack of internet exposure when I miss ya!!
