How the Weather in Your Neck of the Woods?

Yesterday & today its 40 degree Celsius. Now its night 10 p.m & the temperature is 32 Celsius. Very hot even though its more than a month after hottest summer days. Its due to the late setting of sea breeze, they say. it will slowly decrease and reach 27 Celsius late night.

12ss12 Fortunately it didn't reach 40 degrees here but it did reach 30 Today it started to be so warm, all the previous days it was cooler.

 

Today overcast and now it is raining. Very windy from the south. Not very summery weather and we did not get the heatwave that they got in the east of England.

 

Last night at 12 o'clock it was 28 degree Celsius. In the morning.... surprise! Raining and wind and 20 degree Celsius Korea is also affected by that typhoon from China. We will have cool weather just today and tomorrow then heat will come back Anyway, this summer is far better then last year.

♫It's a beautiful morning!♪...overcast and cool, temp right now about 56 Fahrenheit, projected high of only 74 (can stay low as far as I'm concerned ). House temp down to 63, can actually sleep without being sticky and uncomfortable. Supposed to climb back to mid 80s by this weekend, but with thunderstorms, so hopefully they'll come in the evening and cool things down. If you can't tell, I'm not a fan of really hot weather, optimal temp for me is about 65 F. If I'm cold, I can always put on more clothes. There's only so much you can take off when you're hot, unless you want to get arrested .

Went to go for a swim this evening, but the pool is empty as it was full of sand / dust from yesterday

 

It was raining heavy this morning and driving speeds were diminished quite a bit.
But it is bringing out the mosquitoes... As I got out of my vehicle I had 5 blood suckers on my arm at once !

The typhoon alert ended today but the wind was still blowing. It was so great
Here the summer vacation is just 3 or 4 weeks from the end of July until August. But we don't know the exact day. The principal will communicate that probably 1 or 2 days before it starts. So yes I was at school today too.
Unfortunately typhoon has caused a lot of damages and many accidents. A person from my town died yesterday due to typhoon. And starting with tomorrow, the heat will come back and it will rain all week

Now Arielh, my answer will take you by surprise .... hahaha 2 hours per day. But is from 1 to 3
I finished school long time ago. I go to language school for 2 years. And no, we don't have too many holidays during the school. Just for New Year 2-3 days, the Korean New Year 2-3 days, and 1 day on Parents Day, and Independence day 1-2 days. And all this if it will not be weekend.

 

What language do you learn bygo_cris ? 1 to 3 ? I understand Best time to sleep & what better classroom for a little slumber ? Now I know why you are angry, your teacher is not letting you doze ? Very bad of him, Shall I ask him to take dull & boring lessons. It will be a best lullaby

Its drizzling here due heat convention. But no relief from heat.

 

I'm learning Korean. At first sight it looks so easy. But is not easy at all. I know 6 languages and I learn so fast but Korean.... I have 6 levels but with 2 hours per day.... They want to teach us so much in so short time. So each level is more harder. I will repeat level 3 because I didn't understand and learn very well. If I don't understand, it will be more and more hard later on.
And from 1-3.... my day is ruined. I wake up in the morning, cooking for my family and cleaning the house and go to school. Come home and do homework and cooking then cleaning after eating and clean the kitchen and living room, someday go shopping groceries and the day is over. Plus I waste 1 hour to school and back.

Yesterday was so hot that the air was hard to breath. Like when you open the oven door and that hot air is going to your lungs.

It is very hot also here. Going swimming in the sea helps

 

I think I'm melting and I have successfully made myself look like a tomato - just bought some SPF50, because obviously SPF30 wasn't good enough .

 

Romanian, English, Spanish, Italian, Korean, German, Hungarian, French. And I understand and know some words in Portuguese, Catalan and Japanese But because I don't talk every day some languages are a little hard to talk until I remember but I'm doing well
