Strategy: Air Show

Thank you Mir, I just needed to know if there was some type of bonus besides what was listed for these two and I thank you for clarifying that for me. I imagine I can complicate things unnecessarily and from now on I will read carefully what each rune gives.... I will trust from now on, that there are no hidden benefits. This is an immense help and it will guide me safely through the wisdom tree.

I'm going to be cherry-picking my way through the Event as I normally do; breed to get what I want the most and leave the rest.
I have come to really like the Breeding events; they can be done in an evening if you have ample amount of PF and Pheromones, and there are always levels that can be skipped. Stress-free farming as it is supposed to be

I have over 400 geese now and pens out which I think should do me for this event. I won't bother with the geese breeding package at this time but I might get the security goose.

 

The last couple of months I have not been able to spare much time for my farm, between a vacation, work and other RL stuff. I currently have only about 150 Geese, so have the stables out for those and will wait for the BBD to do what I can.
I hope to find the time to build up stocks of crops and fruits and animals in the farm soon.

And I am envious of those of you who have so many Geese already.

Do we got BBD this Friday, I remember there is once a event that
BP don't give us BBD, hope the geese will come as we all expect :
to have BBD on Friday!
I had 790 goose, So, I should be OK for this event. The new workshop...
I check & find that I had accumulate 320 toolbox (gift & pet given).
I open it & I got 2 Luggage Tags
then find another 4 XXL toolbox from fish event. It's bad that I had to open
them all at one time. Happy that I find 3 Luggage Tags,
Oh, I could build a Luggage Shop

 

They changed it where we can open 100 tool boxes at a time. These are the ones that come from the chicken pet. The XL and XXL are all opened at the same time still.
I got enough to make 2 Luggage shops with tools left over.

 

I am in a holding pattern and waiting for a possible/probable BBD before proceeding to accomplish this Quest.
If not I will attempt this weekend or after I come back from some traveling I must do.

 

Thank you for letting us know JJ. I had 1860 toolboxes saved from the chicken pet and cloud row, 2 XL toolboxes and 6 XXl toolboxes. Plus donated to the bio glue level for toolbox rewards. Got enough luggage tags for only one luggage shop. I opened them all hoping to get enough for more than one shop. Nope...I had saved my XXl toolboxes for last. Opened everything else and got 1 tag. The rest came from the XXL toolboxes. I had really thought I would have better results but am glad I could at least make one. Now waiting on Baby boom.

 

Happy day! I have enough tags to make two luggage shops!

Just wish a free vacation came along with all the luggage I shall be making.

 

I'm pulled as to how I should proceed with this event. I usually wait for BBD and then set aside time to do it. However, BBD is usually on the weekends. I work all day Saturday and most likely will be driving to another state on Sunday for a family semi-emergency. I could just do it now but I hate breeding on non-BBD. It feels like such a waste. So for now I'm farming as usual. Maybe I'll know for sure by tomorrow if we are going for sure on Sunday or not.

 

It seems like for at least a year... BBDs have been Fri & Sat, for those of us in The States. Earlier close to the beginning of the international dateline.

After last weeks heat wave... It's forecast to be below avg temps this week. So I will be tending to RL stuff. Trying to be more productive in RL, health permitting.

So... I don't intend to do any breeding until Sat. Since I'm going to be busily AFK... I pulled the goose pens and put out crops that can be harvested twice a day. I have about 800 geese and I am selling down to 400 or so. Esp on my third farm that almost went bankrupt buying 80 beaver pens and feed last event. LOL! Only recouped less than half of what I spent on beavers last week from the event. But it's easy to make coins in this game. Not making any money from manure these days so I'm actually buying it. Will wonders never cease!

Usually... a starting amount of 200-300 critters and PF are enough to finish an event like this if one has the Baby Boom rune and waits until BBDs. I only intend to do enough breeding to complete this event then... back to RL... See you later...

i was thinking to open them all for luggage tags and luggage shop so that i can make some CC
but seeing how many people got 3 4 workshop i guess it wont MAKE me good CC

BBD just announced for Friday through Sunday !

 

Its always better to have one workshop of each kind. Open the toolbox 1 by 1 and stop as soon as you get enough tags for 1 workshop.
Even if many people have many workshops, initially the price for luggage would be high and you can make some CCs.
That's my suggestion.

 

I have opened all my saved tools to make pens, even if I don't sell luggage for good cc's (unlike the airlines who looooove charging for excess baggage ) at least I will get that quest finished !!! It will more than likely be a couple of months before another production pen is introduced which gives time to save more tools or to hold back on the completion of the appropriate levels of quests that give tool boxes.

I am going to wait for BB day to do my breeding..... I am stuck indoors all day this Saturday anyway as am expecting visitors on and off so will try to get all done then ....

 

I now know what to do! BBD is also on Friday. I can do everything I need then and still work/pack Saturday and travel Sunday. Woot woot! It's failing into place.

 

Yipee.. Yipee!! Opened 6 XXL toolboxes, got 6 luggage tags. Going to raid other toolboxes from the quests and see what I get.

 

problem is you can not open 1 by 1, you have to open all anyhow, i opened those 21 and got 22, i have 6 workshop running now
