First, I want to say thank you teddy bear for posting all the information and even the feed back thread in advance.

Please forward the following to the design team: I and others are somewhat frustrated by this event, just based on the reported times. The timing is just too short for most of us, who have outside lives, to finish. If you are not someone lucky enough to live in a time zone that will allow you to at least start the event before heading off to work, or someone who can use computers/smart phones at work, then it is almost impossible without buying a pack. Even then, even with supergrow and suzy supergrow, it is questionable. Why such an event would be labeled "medium", to top things off shows a disconnect between what it actually takes to complete these events and these labels.

When timing is so short, differences in time zones really matter.
On the good side, the cloud row is not as outstanding as many recent ones have been.

I already suggested you offer special plots along the lines of comfort fields that would allow people to auto-start (ONLY start!) the event. Something like that would help everyone... night workers in your time zone, as well as people in other time zones. Because it would just plant the first auto-set, it would not be too rife for abuse, either.

48 HOURS, is That all we've got !!
For 11,000 event crops, that's an awful lot !!
I think someone is dreaming; do-able it is Not.
Please think this through BP, before my thinking gets

I am one of the lucky ones who is not at work when the event starts or finishes for once, but that many crops in just 2 days is absurd. When exactly are we supposed to sleep? For those at work/school they will miss hours of the event meaning that it is impossible for them to complete.

I can't participate in this event due to my job. I must get my rest so I don't mess up at work.

Why not make this have a start button that you can click to do the event when you can?

I am concerned that there were no modifications to the market since the last event. Please consider the many comments to either recalculate mini-events to be longer or modify how we buy and sell manure. To grow the event crops for Outfoxed in such a short time frame, I am counting on being able to buy some during the event. Sadly during the last event, Moonlight Mania, the market had none for sale. Instead of addressing the huge demand with allowing stupidly high prices, somehow the new calculations for allowable market prices did not sufficiently adjust.

A stockpile of 300 manure is clearly not sufficient to produce thousands of event crops. If this were a longer event, I can create my own during the event. I don't mind non participants making a fortune, this should be a choice. I minded having to completely recalculate the timing of my moonlight crops without manure. I suspect sellers were equally frustrated they couldn't sell at a higher price, yet everything sold in micro-seconds.

Edit: Thank you for listening! Manure was available throughout the event in my market - prices were insanely high, but that was fine by me. I managed to finish early and sell some manure!

48 hours is ridiculous, people have lives and schedules. If you want to make it a week long event with a 48 hour timer even that is iffy.

I am currently very happy with the drops. :inlove:

The million dollar question is will I be able to raise the crops in the given time. If it had been the weekend, I suppose so, but am going to try my best.

The time zones matter a lot when the time is short. It can make the event doable or unfinishable. I hope they keep this in mind later.

Had I not started this event before I realized this is only a 48 hour timed event I would not have wasted my time. It does not seem to be very fair time-wise even for someone who had the time to sit in front of a screen all day (which I do not). Lovely prizes sooo out of reach. I am hoping we do not see any more events with time frames such as these. I love this game and have been playing for four years but this event is quite disappointing.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic but I too have to go to work today...put out what I gathered up (in the hundreds) BUT 11k in 48 hours plus strip my fields and get drops?...I had to go back and check the FAQ twice: 2 DAYS! Okay, I'll be the one to say it because everyone around me has the same conclusion...buy your way through this or not finish..bottom line.
After the Gone Fishin debacle I would think people in places of power would get the hint. But no, they don't care if we're getting angry at the thoughtless rounds of New. I'm going to save my money...for a Red Herring.

I have to agree with everyone here. I was excited then I noticed the 48hrs. Huh?? I have to work. I will not be able to participate in this event. Just wondering - why? Is this a mistake?

I do like the idea of a short event like this but unfortunately the requirements are way too high for most who work or have to go school (and normally this would be a problem for me but I struck lucky this time round). It would have been better to have included at least one weekend day so most might have a half a chance to do something. It would make no difference to me as I work shifts but I am in the minority, most people work Monday to Friday. :)

The prizes are okay but nothing really worth all the hard work to achieve the requirements within 48 hours - that doesn't mean most of us diehards won't do everything we can to finish, it is just that there is nothing really to gee on those who are on the fence of doing or not doing the event. Hey, what about a new stable like Tortoise, Porpoise or ... Kingfisher (sorry it doesn't rhyme!) as a prize. :music:
It has been said before but bears repeating, why are the harvester prizes immediate - coupons are so much more attractive. :sleepy:
All in all, a good, though fairly tough, challenge but not easily achievable if one works, eats or sleeps. :inlove:

I am one of the fortunate players that did have the time to participate in this event. The time constraint forced serious time management and I did find that interesting and challenging. I would not want this to be a regular occurrence but it did make for an interesting change.

I did dislike that so many were not able to participate and do think it would have been slightly better if it had started on a Sunday instead of Monday.

I'm on the fence on how I feel about the prizes as on one hand I find them to be OK at best but at the same time I'm glad there is not something spectacular that the players unable to participate will miss out on.

So all in all I enjoyed the event and found it challenging I just wish more players could have enjoyed it as well.

Prizes are decent and the requirements are reduced from normal but despite all this... the 2 day time frame is silly, which has me giving two huge thumbs down.

A 2 day event just shows how disconnected BP are from its players at the moment. Whomever thought it was a good idea clearly does not have a life outside of Farmerama. For those who have to earn money to live (some of which will invariably end up back in the game) this event is nigh on impossible. The prizes are okay and I'm glad they're nothing to rave about considering a lot of players will have been forced to sit this one out. Not impressed and I for one, do not want to see another event with an inordinate amount of crops having to be grown in a ridiculous time frame.>:(

Finished!! with fifteen and a half hours to go!!
I Knew it was do-able, and I could have said so!
Mind, you I was up half the night...
My hair is a mess, I must be a sight...
    :wuerg:
I wasn't at work, and I can't pay the rent
Soon I will know what vagrancy meant
    The bills are a-piling - I can't pay what I owe
But I've got a shiny new filled up cloud Row!!
    xD
I've already got 174 leftover drops
and I managed to do all the crops
with only two early rounds with power feed
And no purchase of a pack with extra seed
    :music:
So overall BP, I am pleased with succeeding
I hope you will forgive initial "heart bleeding"
But we all know hindsight is a wonderful way
When I look back, and think what I had to say.

I am usually at work, but luckily I'm on holiday at the mo, but even playing almost 12 hours a day with CAC, SG, SSG, manure plus buffs (CAC, SG booster) and spending BB's I will not finish this event in the time allowed . Another 48 or 72 hours would have been good :inlove:

congrats to davidb1yth007 for finishing and the lovely poem. Wish I could say the same. To dangle the wonder trees and stables in my face only to wisk them away at the last minute is just plain mean. Been trying to get special trees and stables to work other quest only to get XL or reg stables instead. I will never get those quest completed. Times like these wish I had a robot to work on my farms when I am unavailable.....Ah but a dream

    8) I must second all of the above!! (Including CONGRATULATIONS to Davidb!!)
There is just no way to complete all those mega crops without totally wrecking my farm! And that is not why many of us play this game. I, for one, have worked very hard over these past few years to build a farm that I like and can be proud of. No way do I want to keep destroying all that work for a few days events!

BP......Please try to find an alternative....or lower the crop requirements so we don't have to destroy all our work to succeed in these events!! Please??
