I don't think it was me who made the above quotes. But I don't have a problem with it.

I wish I did have auto harvest, it seems a really beneficial asset. But I guess it costs real money.

The difficulty of balancing the two goals: growing the required event crops (which are unlikely to help with drops) and choosing what else to do to get drops after the event begins is very frustrating. At the beginning of the event, if I've timed this right, I will have four full fields of crops and a few trees to harvest. So after the first seeds are planted, what is the best strategy if the drops are low? I plan to match the time the seeds will be done with another crop for the second planting for 90 2x2 - 45 clematis and 45 rose hips. 1x1 for the third planting is straight forward.

Yes if you want to have auto harvest you need to be a premium member(see more info in the building "premium villa" in the city).

    I have a question:

What would you do in this event, having to work 9 hours out of the day?.
With the event only running for 2 days, and me, not having time to acces the game when at work, i seem to be at a crossroad....

    Any advise???

It is not easy at all for those who have to work, while playing this Game...Especially during an Event. There is one solution is get hold of a Smart Phone and use Puffin Browser to be able to Harvest your Farm, Seed next lot of Event Seedings, then water it ready for next lot of Harvesting.

This is no possible if you do not have harvester and seeder running. But you can use Harvester Coupons to Help you get by. If you not got harvester it is no possible to do this Event. We had had Mini Events in The Past say only last 48 Hours. But not had one for Ages !!!

But really just do what you can do when those of your not able to harvest your farm on regular basic either using PC, Laptop.Tablet or Smartphone.

Some of you who is working is Happy to Spend and Used up many Super grow to help complete this Event or Even happy to used loads of BB to complete stages of this event that you are unable to complete in time....

I have a Smart Phone Android Phone can Manage my Farm at home or when i am out and about !!!

The Premium Account Farmers are happy to spend Real Money for the Previlage to take Advantage of Tree Auto Harvest. But the other alternative to boost Event Drops is to use Comfort Fields using Super Grow and Refinements and Super Grow Buffs.

Otherwise to Ensure you have used your best strategy to Get as Many Event Drops as Possible when the Events starts then wont be too much Pressure to get all needy Event Drops before the Events Ends

It is not going to be easy for many of you to do well with this event but can try your better. It does helps lots to get tips and advise from other who are here to help you ;)

I suppose the harvester might speed things up, but I am among those who just cannot use phones or computers at work. Since this event starts about an hour after I will have to leave, it is enough to basically shut me out of the event unless I buy a pack. The real problem is not harvesting quickly, it is that many of us cannot start the event on time and with such a short length, there is a real question if that 9-10 hours can be made up.

I know it is very frustrating to not be able to participate/complete events due to RL. I would suggest you consider another route of the event...what is it about the event that you want to complete? The EP givers? The trees? The wonder stables? You may have to pick and choose what you can accomplish rather than trying for the whole thing unless you have money available to buy a package. Otherwise, I would offer a suggestion of raising the animals that are required in the event and selling them. Manure prices will also increase (probably not to the high historic levels we have known in the past but they are already above the 1-2 CC they have been lately). Make some money on the event and use the proceeds to invest in your farm. Try to find the joy of farming that has led you to play the game. There will be other events (there always are) that you will be able to do. Good luck!

I agree with d5aisy - the feedback thread is the best place to express our dislike of the short time frame.

PNP that was very well said. I'm going to make an attempt to go for the full event but as I do have work to do in RL I will go for the items I want most first. I am fortunate that I do work from home so I can pop in and out and harvest through the day. I know it's hard for some not to complete but at least there is not a "must" have prize at the end of this one. The CR is nice enough but is not going to be a major game changer for anyone should they not get it.

I've already got my crops laid down for tomorrows harvest and have my fingers crossed on getting a decent amount of drops. In the end I did a mix of raspberries, artichokes, cotton and irises so I'll see what comes out of that.

Good luck to all on the attempt! :)

Well, I know I can't complete this event, however I am going to start it. For others in the same position as me at some point the giver items may make a good trade during a future gift and trade so it may be worth trying to get a couple. And of course I will dedicate one field to chickens and poop farming.xD

My fields are all prepared, and I will plant roses overnight hoping for good drops. I'm going to finish what I can, but RL takes precedence and it's an awfully short event when I work weekdays.

Fingers crossed for all those participating in the event! ;):)

For those wishing to use comfort fields, I did the following experiment using Sage (4hr) and Pumpkin (5:58hr) (no refinements).
Using 3 seeds, SSG, SG, Water and Manure (and having the rune for SG/Manure), Sage takes 4:36 and Pumpkin takes 6:21. Yields 19 without CAC or PJ.

    Hello Noelle,

Thanks for counting the numbers. Would you like to share us more details about it?
Such as using/eating Fruit Cake, White Innocence, or Chesnut Cloud Row, for better results from our Super-Grows. It's so important on farming the event crops in such 2 days. Time management is needed here.

I have included just what I used. Nothing else. (My farm was just started on June 7, 2015 so I don't have that cloud row and can't afford the other items on just an experiment. Only one comfort field was used on each.) Maybe you would like to take the experiment further?

Hi Noelle, I think what is confusing is the amount of your harvest. 15 from CF+ 2 SSG were described, how did you get the extra +2?

Oh, I think it's already included with eating White Innocence and Fruit Cake.

Each plot of comfort field takes 3 seeds, and yields 15 seeds (normal mode), 16 seeds (with PJ), 17 seeds (with CAC), 19 seeds (with SSG), 20 seeds (with SSG+PJ), or 21 seeds (with SSG+CAC).
In other words, it gives bonus extra +12 seeds (normal mode), +13 seeds (with PJ), +14 seeds (with CAC), +16 seeds (with SSG), +17 seeds (with SSG+PJ), or +18 seeds (with SSG+CAC) after deducting the initial seeds.

With unlocking Growth Boost Rune (60% effectiveness of SG + 20% effectiveness of water + 10% effectiveness of manure), it will :
    • Each round with 128 comfort fields on all plots of mainland fields will take 384 Clematis for 4:37 (!!), and will gave bonus extra +1536 Clematis (normal mode), +1664 Clematis (with PJ), +1792 Clematis (with CAC), +2048 Clematis (with SSG), +2176 Clematis (with SSG+PJ), or +2304 Clematis (with SSG+CAC).
    • Each round with 128 comfort fields on all plots of mainland fields will take 384 Rose Hips for 6:55 (!!), and will gave bonus extra +1536 Rose Hips (normal mode), +1664 Rose Hips (with PJ), +1792 Rose Hips (with CAC), +2048 Rose Hips (with SSG), +2176 Rose Hips (with SSG+PJ), or +2304 Rose Hips (with SSG+CAC).

How do I get 5716 Rose Hips and 5500 Clematis in 48 hours?o_O Not including the time to prepare 384 Rose Hips and 384 Clematis.

    My thoughts:

Are the prizes from this event valuable? Yes!! If you gave me these things for free, would I appreciate them? Yes!! Is it worth losing sleep, using lots of super grow, CAC., manure, water, etc, neglecting other goals on my farm? No!! There is nothing offered that I cannot live without. This is such a short timed event, that I am OK with getting the benefit I can out of it, and moving on to the next one.

See? this is why I get distracted by shinny things easy like.:music:
I have been hurting myself last few days, been doing cough, math and excel lists, yes they look so much better now easy to find prices, what artisan thing does what but ick.:wuerg:
And this event, here I got it all ready and now you show me it is going to be next to a rock I got to sit this, well I will be getting the crops, drops, milling all done on this one 1st, then if it looks like I can fill the CR I will get tasks left.

At least I will get some stars, so yep I still win. I feel for the workers, but I feel for the me's too, it takes way too much planning, thinking in general to have fun on an event that has such a small window of error, If I have to think this hard I will read my onkyo manual and fix my volume outage.

LOL keltic..xDxDxD You always make me smile.. Thank you for that, it is very much appreciated.. :)

I agree with other posters that the only people able to complete this event are those who can stay at their computer for long durations and who are willing to spend their real money. xDxD

I'm stubborn and can not cure my FOCD.:wuerg::wuerg::wuerg: I'm going to try for the whole tasks, though I've been predicting the outcome of this event.:sleepy::sleepy:

I too feel for those who are working through this event ... and normally I am but I have struck lucky this time, by working both weekends, I have managed to land five days off starting today! :D

But I would be extremely frustrated if I was working and would probably only do the levels with more attractive prizes. When I am working, I can only do a maximum of three maybe four harvests so it would be impossible - I think! :p Sorry, I don't really work out the finer details, I just get as prepared as I can and hit the event running! xD
