Hi Sillyguy As Regarding to using Comfort Fields to Growing Clematis or Rose Hips

When you are using Comfort Fields...The Suzy Super Grow (SSG) Gives you +4 Crops for Every Suzy Super Grow used in a Comfort Field it only gives you + 2 Crops in Normal (1x1, 2x1 or 2x2) Normal Fields

Before you start using Comfort Fields you need to build up stock of Clematis or Rose Hips !!! As they need 3 Event Crops Per Comfort Field

The Growth Boost Rune Turns your Super Grow Effectiveness into 60%, Plus Manure Effectiveness from 5% into 10 %. Water always gives 20% Effectiveness but you get this without using White Innocents or Fruit Cake Combination of These Gives you another 15% Effectiveness of Super Grow.

Those who have Chestnut Cloud Row gives 10% Effectiveness of Super Grow onto top of that only for 6 Hours Only !!!

If you are happy to use this Method using Supergrow....This will also helps you Boost your Drops of Cascabel Chili too !!!

Good Luck with This Event ;)

Geez.. I forgot that on comfort fields, SSG gives 4 additional crops instead of 2. Thank you Mooboy over kindly corrected.:)

Yes, what I wrote in the previous post is to describe what Noelle mentioned in #54.

-.-Yes, I am thick, but I can be lernt!
As an event is about to start, would you think of it for yourself, but also think of it for gifting?
I do, so that tells you something. So, just as a reminder farmers, hold off on your day like gifts and send drop items to the one you...have on your list.

Please be kind and rewind!! < today be kind and share the feed, wait till everyone picks the movie, but not sound cute>

    Hi @ all :)

    Difficulty: Medium.... err... what?o_O-.-

This event won´t be managable for those working or having RL appointments or a RL at all without either using SG and/or SSG or getting up in the middle of the night

After some hard thinking and tormenting my calculator my personal strategy will be using comfort fields and 1x1s alternatingly.
This approach might be helpful to players with access to computers during the day and with spare SG and SSG (fortunately I have gathered some stocks from my giant trees which come in handy now...)

As always I stubbornly refuse to rip out my trees, so I will use 440 1x1 plots (110 comfort fields) for event crops.

    First step: nuking both crops:
2 rounds of 2x2s with CAC, water, manure, SG, SSG (1st round only) and WI on rose hips (2h34min), makes 180 rose hips to continue with
1 round of 2x2s with CAC, water, SG, SSG and WI on Clematis (57min), makes 45 Clematis to continue with
1 round of 2x2s with CAC and water on 45 Clematis (3h12min), makes 300 Clematis to continue with

I´m from Germany, so I´m CEST timezone and will only get one more harvest done before bedtime (won´t stay up til past midnight or set an alarm clock -.-)

So I´ll continue with 1x1s, CAC and water, using 180 rose hips and 270 Clematis to continue with, thus having accumulated 720 rose hips and 1080 Clematis before bedtime.
Switch to comfort fields: 110 CF planted with Rose hips, using water, SG and SSG (due to WI still being active maturing time 5h45min, otherwise 7h40min), will get me a total of 720(plants accumulated on day1)-330(seeds for 110CF)+110x21 (by using CAC, SG and SSG) = 2700 rose hips (-440 for replanting) = 2260 net amount

    Day 2: 3x 440 1x1s of Clematis with water (9h36min), yielding 2x3x440+4x440= 4400 Clematis (+ 1080-440=640)= 5040 Clematis (- approx 175 for replanting) = 4865 Clematis net
Day 2: 440 1x1s of rose hips with water (4h48min), yielding 1760 rose hips, making a total of 2260+1760=4020 rose hips (-330 for replanting) = 3690 rose hips
Switch to comfort fields: 110 CF planted with rose hips using water, CAC and SG (7h40min), yielding 110x17=1870 rose hips, making a total of 3690+1870=5560 rose hips (-60 for replanting)

Day 3: use 1x1s with CAC and water, plant approx 175 Clematis and approx 60 rose hips, which should be a bit more than sufficient to finish the event plants (but just in time, you´ll probably have to adjust this strategy to your time zone )

This approach will "cost" you 275 SG, getting back 85 as event rewards and 120 SSG, getting back 74 as event rewards, so it might be worth a thought...

Hope this helps at least some of you :)

Good luck and fingers crossed for the best possible results for all. Have a wonderful day :)

    @Arielh

    Great drop rate, congrats:)
I missed the FAQ and went into the event unprepared, got a measly 46 drops from melonsxD

    Edit

Corrected boo-boo: wrong number of Clematis from second harvest on 2x2s

Yes, it is great, Arielh. It's already exceeds that of we needed for minimum drops/day.
I think it will be more easier for you to reap 120 Cascabel chillies remaining in less 47 hours. Congrats!!:D

Arielh. I think it's a good start, you still have two nights to plant longer crops plus the drops you get from harvesting the eventplants.

I have 258 so far and got the second harvest left on the magical glade.

I'm using whatever resources I have in the farm (water, manure, SG, SSG, any buffs and any CRs that helping/saving of growing time and also improving the drop rate. I'm planting 'flowers' category seeds on Baha and Mainland while waiting the event crops were blooming.

I think I will use a strategy to use Comfort Fields at this time. I'm trying to get atleast 384 initial seeds for both of event crops ASAP.

But I will activate Chesnut CR when I already transfer into Comfort Fields mode.

Try your best. I too work. I try to login twice during events But if my work demands, I do not login the morning. And do not feel too much for not completing the event. You are loosing nothing.

Try using Super-grows & Suzy's super grow with white innocence and fruit cacke both for crops & for drops giving crops.
Just now arrived from my work & its 7.15 p.m. Waiting for my first harvest of event crops.

I got 148 drops in first harvest.

Planted comforts with ginger, two fields of roses and one of carnation. A few high value trees to fill in spots. Used water, manure,SSG. Harvested with Spring wreath, CAC, Sourdough cake, and EM running; along with Event Flower, Chesnut CR, etc. CR. Decided to go with longer lasting EP boosting buffs rather than SG buffs, since I will only use SG to build up seed.

I got 130 drops on 3 fields, with one carnation field to come out soon. The two rose fields yielded 42 and 44 drops; the ginger 40. Have great hopes for the carnations yielding nicely over 40.

Glad to see nice drops for everyone!

I finally decided I'll use around 100 SGed/manured/watered CFs overnight for the longest event's crop. With no SG buffing, it'll take a healthy 06:54:43 to get ripe (meaning, an acceptable bridging time for sleep and even oversleeping if needed/pleased).

The caveat of this approach is how many event's drops I'll get overnight. Those CFs will yield as many drops as the same crop would yield in normal 2x2-plots in its normal growth time: much less than they would yield if 1x1s were deployed in same space.

But event's drops seem to be OK: initial harvest -a mix of a few plots with rye, a handful of others with Turkish melissa, most with lilies and oyster mushrooms, plus some trees (about a 30% of what I usually deploy) and ginger and mostly trees in Baha- has already landed 110 event's drops, a hair shy from 40% of total event requirement. So, I guess it's not risky to use those 100 CFs overnight. Thus, I'll get about 50% of the longest event's crop requirement done, with just 200 SGs. It seems a good compromise to me.

    Good luck to everyone.

I'm done for now. I'm tired and it's around 10:30 PM in my time zones.

Planted 188 gingers on 1x1's on Baha fields (without using anythings. It takes 10 hours), 384 Clematis on 128 Comfort Fields on Mainland fields (with water and manure. It takes 11:32), and the rest of the available plots planted with carnations on 1x1's (with water and manure and also under the influence of Flowers CR buff. It takes 12:15).
I'm going to sleep well and not so much worried about my farm. LOL.

I already have 213 Cascadel Chillies, 245 Rose Hips, and 419 Clematis (excluding seeds are already being planted).

Good night and Good luck to everyone.

Hi all! I'm a little late to the party, but here are some spreadsheets to help those who have not yet started the event, and who want to use super-grow to cut their time on their starter 2x2 plots.
    :)

Be aware that will want to add a minute to each of the times listed. BP recently (a few events ago) changed how they display some of their times. Therefore if the CAC buff says you have 0:34 min remaining and you quickly plant the above expecting a time of 0:34, you will miss out as the crop time above will actually display as 0:35.

Moral of the story: always give yourself a little wiggle room. ;)
I don't have any finished charts for the event seeds involving comfort fields, but if you take the above, you can multiply them by 4 and the times should be correct (or pretty close anyway!)
    ;)

So with just under 45 hours remaining in the event, I have 164 of the 260 Cascabel chilies needed! I started with a mix of trees on the edges and animal pens (my 39 Beaver IIs included lol!). I've found this set-up helps make it easier to start the event seeds on 2x2s. I decided to take a gamble on this as I have maxed out trophies and drops are rarely a problem for me (and thankfully drops are good so far!)

I just finished clearing my fields of all but my owl pets and sugar trees (I love that Easter Marm lol!) and now have have been converting them all into 1x1 plots after my initial 2x2 starter plots finished. I will eventually have to do the math for how many rounds of each crop (using CAC) I will have to grow, but if worse comes to worse, I will plant the 6 hour crop overnight and focus on the 4 hour crop when it is daytime. Right now I have the event crops planted every which way, and driving me crazy as they will be ready at different times lol!
    :pxD

If I finish the event early, I will fill my fields with geese (gives 2 manure each) and gain some CCs while helping out those struggling to finish the event by selling manure on the market.
    ;)

After reading Aluntino´s post I checked numbers and possibilities again:)

For those who have some extra SG and who aren´t reluctant to rip their farm apart and who want to finish early (by tomorrow late evening CEST) a good choice would be to use:

500 1x1s (125 CFs). Nuke as described in my first post (use 300 Clematis and 200 rose hips on 1x1s)to get 800 rose hips and 1080 Clematis before switching to CFs overnight.
Plant 125 CFs with CAC, SG and water (7h40min)
After morning harvest switch to 500 1x1s again and plant 3x Clematis and 1x rose hips.
Switch back to 125 CF filled with rose hips, using CAC, SG and water.
This will give you an altogether of 5800 rose hips and 5580 Clematis, so no place for major mistakes here or it will be replanting in the morning :p
But thus you won´t need any SSG (except 10 for nuking first seeds) and 305 SG (55 from nuking seeds and 250 for 2x 125 CF). Counting off the 85 SG we´ll receive as rewards it would "cost" 220 SG net.

Good luck again, keeping fingers crossed:)

In fact, CJAT, it's not that BP changed the way they display the remaining time. What they did is actually change the base growth time of many crops and pens/workshops, by adding 1 min to most of them -and maybe some additional not shown seconds- (EDIT: see my post below: they changed practically all of them back to previous timings; probably they had already changed them back by when I wrote this post). For example, pumpkins base growth time was 05:58 till some weeks ago and it now is 05.59 (EDIT: now back at 05:58); the plain turkey run used to take 09:00, it now takes 09:01. As a general rule, for crops, with a couple of exceptions, I realized they added that 1 min to all crops which previous growth times minutes were not ending in 0 or 5. That is, as an example, rye, kept the same base growth time of 18:20. They have not followed this rule with pens/workshops: I haven't checked all of them, but I noticed the difference in some cases.

There was no announcement (they announce so many inconsequential things, but they do not warn about this....: same old story), and I have already missed some buffing windows expirations just for seconds because of this. So, I learnt of the change the hard way. I had to browse the entire crops chart to rebuild my spreadsheets so that they give me accurate timings. I did that last week. (EDIT: and now I have to correct it again).
