20 white cows required for Firefly event

Is anyone else shocked by the number of white cows required for this event, because I am. I have already posted feed back in the appropriate forum, but wondered what others thought about this quite unreasonable requirement.

I have decided I am not going to use hundreds of power feed just to breed cows, to then give as a donation to an event. Especially after the recent breeding event which also required breeding animals I didn't want or need purely to donate.

I don't know if anyone else has worked it out, but excluding skips and as we probably won't get a twin mini event to help out, I came up with the following. I have no brown nor white cows, so would have to work from basic cows.

4 x cows = 1 brown cow = 2 power feed =
4 x brown cows = 1 white cow = 2 power feed

Thus I require 80 brown cows to get 20 white cows which will need 40 power feed
Thus I require 320 cows to get 80 brown cows to get 20 white cows which will need 160 power feed.

If I take into account that I will get skips about 20% of the time - I have calculated I will need at least 250 power feed to be on the safe side. The breeding rune I have open merely seems to give 2 or 4 basic animals, not similar or higher ones these days.

All for 20 white cows to donate for some reward about which I'm confused, the FAQ isn't as clear as it could be. So I am having difficulty working out whether, if you do the final one, will you also get the all the other prizes?

It does seem to be weighted towards higher level players, and no doubt those under 21 or 35 will complete some of them - but as far as I can see that excludes quite a lot and virtually all of the combination 'special prizes'.

Maybe some other player can come up with an explanation for BP's increasing disconnection from ordinary players.

 

I was wondering that too, if doing the final one, means all the prizes are won.
