Recently, there has been an increasing demand for corn. More animals are needing corn, including mouse, otter, rooster, skunk, duck, cow and sheep. So, I am suggesting a buff (must be a silver/gold slot) that increases the harvest of corn. What do you think of the idea? Please offer your opinions:)

P.S. If you do not think that this suggestion is necessary, feel free to tell me.

    8) That is a really good idea, penguilnz!! :D:D

It would need to be a silver slot, however!! We don't have enough gold slots as it is. And being a single-crop buff would also warrant a silver slot.:)

I am fully on board for silver buffs to be utilized. Corn is in demand but we have a cloud row that already gives +1 for vegetables so I don't know if BP will consider this request. Perhaps they could make it possible for players to fill the cloud row. Currently, the scarecrows are not allowed in gift and trade. They could be included in gift and trade, made as an event/quest prize, even offered for sale. The cloud row would free up the buff slots and the only drawbacks are the cool down periods and those who don't have the clouds open yet.

8)Glad you're on board for the buff, PnP! :) Because the good thing about penguilnz idea is that it would be a buff, and we have many silver buff spaces available. They don't cost anything except to make, could be made cheaply in the Bakery, like carrot bread.... or complicate anything....it's as simple and easy a fix as I've ever heard. I've never even filled all of my silver spaces all at once.
No worries about cloud rows, or using up gift or trade licenses, or spending any more BB's. And with all the demands on corn now, we need it even in addition to the +1 veggie cloud row.
This game is getting too stressful instead of being able to play to relax. Perhaps a little simple may be just what we need.

Imho, penguilnz got it right because it's simplicity itself - just a silver buff.:)

If GMO is so safe, why are they wearing protective gear?

Penguilnz. As Puppiesnponies has already pointed out that we already have a cloud row that gives +1 Vegetable for 24 Hours using it with CAC gives + 5 i have recently been growing lots of Corn this way.

But i also have Corn Refinements too which reduce Growing time of corn a Fair Bit. As farmer can work on Corn Refinements too.

It is only Fair that they Introduce this Cloud Row in Near Future Event for those who not got this Cloud Row with a chance to buy certain Scarecrows from Event Store to Complete this Cloud Row.

As i doubt we will be getting any new Buffs as we not have new Buffs for Ages. I would thought their would new Buffs for Alchemist it did not happen !!

Using +1 Vegetable with CAC and Corn Refinements with Farmers like me can restock Corn Quickly, as i am Crop Farmer.

It would lovely to have new Crafts for New Buff Effects Since there is not much to Craft from Artisan Crafts for buff Slots at the Moment :p

PnP & Mooboy, a question: Is this cloud row still available? Or is/was it an event item that is no longer available?

The cloud row itself is available for all, it is the scarecrow cloud row (or Party Ticket 2 cloud row). It requires the 5 scarecrows, of which 4 can still be won at the party wheel. At the moment the cap'n scarecrow can not be gotten in any way unfortunately :(

As much as I HATE the idea of GMO, I have to interject that these suits don't necessarily indicate danger. Dust alone, of almost any type, for example, causes serious lung problems. Many things are OK when you are exposed just a few times, but when exposed day in and day out for years, eventually cause issues. Besides, the most likely reason is that they are reducing contamination from the workers. GMO is still in testing phase in most places, even though it is being sold and reducing contamination is important for veracity of tests.
Just saying..... (and again, not at all a fan of GMO, but its important to concentrate on the real issues and not the bogus hype).

    8) One of the real issues with GMO corn is that it is genetically modified, and our bodies do not recognize it as food. Corn and soy have been modified to produce their own pesticides...just think what those pesticides do in our bodies!! They are now known to be a toxic pollutant, causing negative and harmful changes in our bodies, and after 40 years of growing this stuff, it has escaped into the environment. There is more...much more.

Even the name should be a warning - Genetically Modified. "You are what you eat"....Do we really want to be genetically modified? Is it even safe to be genetically modified?
After 40 years of growing, and testing, the answers are available.

We owe it to ourselves, and especially our children, to educate ourselves regarding GMO foods!

It is easy to look up on the net: Dangers of GMO foods. This will give you a whole list of articles and research results.

Woody, when you said you are..."not at all a fan of GMO", you are right, for more reasons than you imagine!o_O Glad you brought it up.:)

I'm sure you know this already penguilnz but just in case, you can buy 100 corn from the seed shop every day. It is surprising how corn stocks mount up doing this. :)
