    8) I just read your 'Conversation' accusing me of ignoring the rules...but there was no way allowed to respond with the true facts, so I'm forced to do it here. By definition, a 'conversation' requires two people, not one wrongly assumed stated position.

I do/did not ignore any rules. As elimeno so succinctly put it - 'accidents happen'. And THAT is exactly what happened.

As I had been up all night preparing a visual menu for our Forum Party, and just finished the first course, I automatically, and - on sleep-deprived 'autopilot' - without intent (was not ignoring), hit the post button. I was banned before I even had time to check and see what had happened, thereby leaving me in the dark as to what was the problem.
As it happened in the middle of preparing for the picnic party for the entire forum - including All the Mods...yes, you are invited, too - I was indeed upset at not being given a single minute to discover and fix the double post once I could find what was my offense. This seems unfairly hasty - not having time to fix an oversight.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, though - that you were just being a bit over-zealous in doing your job.

But I'd like to Petition that whoever made the rule on banning for double-posting re-think it's parameters...including making exceptions under certain circumstances. (Ex: Such as a single posting requiring multiple posts to complete; or a single story line requiring multiple posts to complete a description, etc...)
Double posting is probably the least serious of your many rules, and it would help immensely to allow for circumstantial exceptions...or perhaps a small limit could be allowed on double posting, such as not posting more than two or three together in sequence, as long as it is not done too frequently.
This is a small adjustment, and would mean a lot for the benefit of the entire Forum.

I invite invite all comments below, pro-and con, regarding a re-write of the rule on double-posting only. Please do not address other rules in this thread.

    Thank you.:)

I agree with you farmlily if elimeno hadn't told me that she erased a post and it looked like I double posted then I would have been accused of the same also :(

    Hello farmlily3,
