Moraine raised a key issue with this event. We only have 24h to get through each round of crops. For example, once quest 2 starts, we can only plant the crop for quest 2 and we only receive the drops for quest 2. Quite an amount of crops for each round considering the 24 hours window.
That along with crops and drops been only enabled in specific areas of the farm and one gets really limited in options. I might need to use brain cells with this one... o_O

UPDATE: DROPS WILL ALSO COME FROM RAINFOREST!

    Don't forget:
    - To put your 'Clam Solo' deco item out at once
    - NOT to upgrade it until you have 4 curtains for it, as the first 3 'upgrades' increase the time to harvest from 6 hours to 8 hours, while not increasing the number of metronomes it gives.

  5. The amount of crops is quite straightforward.
Baha and the tropical forest have 188 small fields each or 40 large fields with 28 small fields in the empty spaces.

    1. Plant the 10 starter seeds in large fields with SG and (carrot-apple chutney, white innocence+fruit cake).
    Result is 70 plants
    2. Plant 40 seeds in large fields with SG
    Total result 310 plants
    3. Plant 188 seeds in small fields with water and collect in the evening
    Total result 874 plants
    4. Plant 188 seeds in small fields with water and collect in the morning
    Total result 1.438 plants

Steps 1 to 3 cover the plant quantities for quests 2 or 4.
Step 4 covers the quantities of quest 5.

I did not even bother to use SSG.
So, I would call the crop requirements doable without stress.

    thanks for open the thread.
Two event start together again.......... >:(
I actually see both FAQ, but I chose to open the simple one... xD
This event, I just look at FAQ already find my head painful :sleepy:
as everyday is a new quest with new requirement -.-
Thanks Moraine to ask Mod & then get reply which Make my mind much clear.
And thanks for above advices. Especially, xristos-ale3andros, after read your post.
I will not use SSG on field as it really a waste for only 1 field planting.
Now all I worry is the drops required by quest. Only 1 day get over 100 drops for
1 field. Just hope BP wil give us good drop rate!

Thank you @SahraB for starting he thread.

I am with all of you on the error of which land gave drops. But I did NOT come back yesterday to even put in a long crop. Although both lands have crops on them. So on that note I am with most on low drops.. I got 10 so far. I am gonna see where I go from here. If I can not make up and complete stage one. I am going back to normal farming on these lands. To many events back to back any way..

As @phoenixboy12 pointed out, if you work. It will be super hard to recover. May I say put in a crop long enough for you to work and come home and harvest? Don't forget to add another hour if planning on watering or manure it. Maybe just maybe you can still get it.

I am really getting event BURNT out... BP wont listen.. and it is super hard for us to decide which ones to sit out and etc.. So I am glad I messed up and didn't plant long crops yesterday.. I do not see myself making this one.. and I am SUPER happy with that... BREAK TIME.. Least see how I do on main... May not do them both... Who knows.

The baha lands are acting up on my farms - I'm having to refresh over and over again... ugh.

I was only able to farm late yesterday afternoon, so I put in 20 hour crops on my baha lands (that new flower) so I got a lot of drops on sewinglady's farm (haven't gotten to this one, yet). I think that will help. The tough part is those metronomes.

DO NOT! I repeat: DO NOT put the curtains on the clam giver item until you have the curtains that upgrade it to multiple metronomes. The curtains lengthen the time between harvests! I found this out the hard way on sewinglady's farm. I won't make that mistake on this farm...

Why are those players whose Rain Forest is not open being penalized for this activity?

Istanboy, when you 1st start playing obviously not everything is open to each player we have to build up. The 1st part of the event I am unable to do also due to other circumstances.
These events are not linked progression wise from the previous day so the next days event is set on the main Baha land which Im sure you will be able to do.
When you are new to the game the events seem unobtainable within time you will have no trouble in completing them, till then just keep going through the FSQs to build up your farm even further. I was level 60 before I completed my 1st event.
Keep at it....if you require anything just ask in forum there is alot of good people more than willing to help.

Sorry mods and other players for going off thread slightly

Actually, you could still do the quest - you just have to spend real money - buy a couple of the baskets. I know this isn't feasible for everyone - but, it is a way around not having the rainforest open.

Also, occasionally, BP has sales where we can purchase missed givers to complete cloud rows. We had one a couple months back and I was finally able to complete a cloud row that I'd had one missing giver since shortly after I started playing...it was so nice to finally put that cloud row into service! So even if you miss out on this giver, do what you can - get what rewards you can. Trust me, I'm not an optimist, just someone who sometimes has to make hard choices - I do what I can, go as far as I can and I've just got to be okay with what I get. Especially on this farm.

Edit to add for Harry: one metronome every 6 hours so if you plunked it down this morning, you should be able to harvest twice before time is up. Alternately, see my response above - buy the basket...you're golden. You know BP wants your hard earned money.

The metronomes come from the giver Clam Solo I and it gives a metronome every 6 hours. BP gave us all the giver when the event started so you should already have it :)You can easily get the 2 needed in 24 hours if you can harvest the giver twice. Good luck!

OMG do I feel stupid ! I knew it was a clam thingy so the first one I saw was chatty clam, it still has 10 hrs to go. That's the reason I thought that it was impossible to get 2 in 24 hrs. Thank you fellow farmers.
