I will play, I like anything eqyptian and roman. Also the Cloud Row is pretty good, it gives a Star, EP and CC, also like the deco items.

If a lot of players sit it out, it would help balance the market and prices on certain items will probably not go up as much.

I decided not to go beserk on this one. No special preparation and not dedicating all fields to the Reeds.
Reason? It's mid september and we'll have exceptional weather, instead of autumn it be high summer (30C/85F). Beach tiime! :)

I'm waiting to see just how much "Predetermined" turns out to be. However, I'm starting to feel like Mike Rowe with all the "Poo" I'm selling.

I am waiting also....the thought of tearing up my fields to grow junks does not appeal to me:wuerg: Besides, I am working on other goals and those are a wee bit more important and profitable...me thinks. Will stop by in the moring to see what farmers are reporting.....

Maybe the company owner should change the name from Bigpoint to Missedpoint, because this is exactly what happens with the game: robbing of ours hardly earned goods instead of growing and developing farms.
    Im gonna skip this "challenge"...

I won't be taking part in this event on any of my farms. The main reason is lack of farm machinery (thanks for the shout out by the way, Nellie! ;)). I can manage an event with just the harvester, seeding is no real problem but harvesting manually is just too much. It seems there are less decent harvester prizes in events and little or no chance to earn BBs via the cinema so for farmers like me who don't spend money on the game, it is quite difficult. o_O

I keep finding myself rethinking how I could do the event - I like the number of crops required and know that they could be done in two or three days using four fields (as is my usual tactic) but then I would have to spend the time putting back all my trees ... probably manually ... so I am going to do the sensible thing and let this one go. Scary huh?

If the prizes were even a little more interesting, maybe it would be worth it but as it is, even the most attractive (to me) prize - the PF - can be milled in just over the duration of the event without the need to empty my barn to do it! Another less than exciting CR, just an additional click of the mouse for me as the Harvester alone does not work on the Magical Stalk. :music:

Maybe finally I can break the cycle of compulsion that I have to do and complete every event. Could I have found a cure for my FOCD ... watch this space! :D

    Bon Courage everybody! :inlove:

Seems a lot of us are finding that cure for FOCD ;)
I am keeping the things in my barn and now adding to it ...added more to the crops now it's the animals to do xD

And will continue to do this until they stop barn clearing ... will try to beat them at their own game :p
They are doing this for a reason ...don't know why or for what this reason is...all i know is i don't like it

When events first started, I used to think "does the reward match the requirements"? Most of the time, the answer was "no" but, in time, I got the bug and it didn't matter how ridiculous the requirements, I was in! :music:

I would still be "in" now if it wasn't for the physical requirement ... but it's a start! :p

    Thanks for the numbers 12ss12.:D

13410 Reeds. Man that's a whole bunch o reeds! Methinks it's more than my three fields can manage.
Since I'm working FSQs, not sure if I'll try this one. Still waiting to see what they mean by "predetermined".

I'm with you folks. Wholesale tearing up of the farm, especially after you've taken the pains to set it just right, is a major pain. Add to that NO prep time, we're leaping directly into another event as one ends, doesn't give me any time to plant proper crops for a good initial drop rate.

Come on BP, is it too much to ask for at least a day between events? ARE YA THAT GREEDY? REALLY!

This Event has Started but i am unable to Nuke Reeds in Bahamarama as there is no Reed Seeding Available to Plant but I can in all other fields except Bahamarama.

I will Post in General Issue if this is Bug or FAQ made a Small Error ?

Ignore this Posting as FAQ was updated that Bahamarama is excluded for Growing Reeds but can still get Limestone Drops !!

You want a break, ok that's understandable. But what stopped you from planting long crops to prepare for drops? The MM event was on another field, completely separate from this event

What stopped me from preparing for drops, was that I forgot :wuerg:xD

Just did my initial harvest and got 81 limestones. I am impressed with that, as my Baha trees are ot ready for harvest yet, but.. I think, that will not be enough to do the event in total.
Also planted the first initial event plants.
Wanted to skip this event but then I thought, I could give it a try. But will definitely not do the animal part of it. (dfon't have enough animals and not enough CC to buy them in the market.

At least the drops will give me a few points and CCs after the event.

Happy Farming everybody and good luck
