"About An Egg" Quests

Three breeding quests lasting two days each needed completion to be able to make donations to the main event and getting the last two givers needed for the cloud row.

Drops from breeding are needed to make donations. There's two different drops depending on the category of the breeded animals plus a third drop with a small chance on each breeding:

Heat Lamp You will get these drops when breeding animals from the Fish and Mammal classifications. You will receive 1 x Heat Lamp with each breeding of Fish/Mammal completed. Available from: 16th January at 14:00 CET to 18th January at 14:00 CET and 20th January at 14:00 CET to 22nd January at 14:00 CET

Baby Blanket You will get these drops when breeding animals from the Amphibian, Arthropod, Bird and Reptile classifications. You will receive 1 x Baby Blanket with each breeding of Amphibian/Arthropod/Bird/Reptile completed. Available from: 18th January at 10:00 CET to 20th January at 22:00 CET and 20th January at 10:00 CET to 22nd January at 22:00 CET

Mystery Egg There is a small chance you will get these drops when breeding any animal from any of the classifications. Available from: 16th January at 14:00 CET to 22nd January at 14:00 CET

Thats a lot of power feeds needed! The Cozy Baskets are given as prizes when finishing Gold and Diamond steps of level 3 from Quest 1, 2 & 3. Players will need them to access the 2 last givers in Quest 4.

This will require a huge amount of animal donations too so be prepared!

EDIT 1: Drop tine interval of the Baby Blanket has been changed and are now the same as the Quest 2 & 3 start/end times.

Awesome breakdown, Northy. Thanks again for the time and effort you put into these. It is indeed a LOT of breeding/PF/donations.

RL has me too preoccupied these days so I'm hoping to do what needs to be done for the minimum...will see how it goes. I surely don't have enough stock to complete the entire event. Wish everyone luck who attempts the events.

I saw there is a very handy faq if you don't know which animal is in each clasification

I always have to study for reptiles, amphibian and arthropods

 

I tried to make sense of the FAQ yesterday. And I'm looking at that cloud row and tilting my head almost sideways.

So here's my plan: do what I can and if I get to the finish line, yay. If I don't, meh. Don't really care either way about this one.

Also, ONLY this farm and sewinglady's will participate. DO NOT send dumbunny's farm drops. That farm isn't farming at all right now. I open it once a day to get the daily gift and send gifts around.

 

I can't finish one of the About an egg as I don't have enough baskets & I don't see how to get more I'm stuck on task 5/6 with 22 hours to go. Any help will be appreciated. Floridasolve

 

Floridasolve you can get more baskets in the next quest which will start tomorrow

Think there is some sort of a glitch.. I was wondering the same thing, my Farmhouse says there is 21 hours or so left to do the About an egg quest, and I am still missing baskets that the FAQ says are only available from quests that have not started yet.
I finished the About an Egg part 1 but it looks weird as well, it says i'm -22234459329 % complete, or something.

and it keeps changing, looking different, when I close the farmhouse and access it again

EDIT: A few hours later, the glitch seems to have corrected itself, and the percentages and the timer look right again.

 

I have the same thing, I finished the 1st part too but ıt looks, ıt says -22234459329 % complete ı cant take happy snow angel because ı havent enough basket

Baby Boom Day and Farm-aCoin-Palooza will be running until Monday, 20th of January at 22:00 CET (UTC+1), so to do Quest 3 we have to do it on Monday. Unless BP decides to announce it tomorrow and running it on Tuesday, I'm afraid that's not going to happen this time for this breeding event.

 

So right now, I'm showing different times on the main quest (the one we still need baskets for). This farm shows only 10 hours remaining. SL's farm is showing over 50 hours remaining. I'm confused, and I can see that there are overlapping quests - I suspect it's a glitch in the matrix. Hoping I can complete this on both farms - otherwise all those animal donations were for naught.

 

Phew, just completed the minimum in steps/donations to get the CR and givers. Skipped doing extra critter donations to complete everything. Put givers on CR and while givers are really good, just don't have space/time now to arrange fields. Now back to the underwater world and growing those shiny moss!

I finished the event today morning. Those items are so valuable to be in the CR! I put them in the Lighthouse, but am dying of curiosity to know what this Beaver crate contains. Anybody knows?

 

Crate o' Beaver is the reward from the customer for fulfilling all his orders.

It contains a chance for pheromones, deluxe pheromones, power feed and party tickets.

All done on this farm and SL's. Realizing now that I was a dumb-dumb. I should have done what I could on the baby farms and then shifted the givers to this farm and SL's in a future G&T (assuming that would be possible eventually).

 

Same as in the other on-going event, this also:

Givers are many million EP/TEP better any other place than in CR ! I calculate that amount of EP/TEP is many hundreds of millions better (with all pets&givers collected ones in a day)!

 

I need a babyboom! I'm short on lamps.
And what is CR?
