    Initial Reaction:
Based on previous years expect this one to be little tougher than some events even though it is rated medium. The ups and downs in the flight patterns makes it a little harder too (Decisions, Decisions, Decisions).

Nice prizes -- I think everyone can use another Neon Rabbit and possibility to get another (or first) Nutmeg tree. Too bad you have to complete Races 1-4 before you can open Race 5 to get to the Neon pens. Also too bad we couldn't get both* (hover like a helicopter and go up and down in the same position -- maybe next time or another event).

    Mid Event Reaction:
Finished Race 1 and almost finished my 2nd and am already out of drops.

Finished my 3rd Race and drops are slow but have time left to complete the final 2 races (66+ hours).

    Event End:
Starting my last race. Have the crops -- waiting on the drops -- plenty of time left. Finally got all the drops needed -- milling my last fuel to finish the race.

Could have finished earlier but with all the back-to-back events long term crops are usually planted to get drops, low level crops are bought from the seed shop and that means mid level crops are usually neglected. Planted some mid level crops this event because of all the time available to get drops.

No new Pheasant for me -- maybe I should have switched to the bottom row and gone for the Croc.

    Nice event.

*I like that the up and down button also progresses you forward but would also like to go up and down to get 2 prizes (Neons, extra EP, trees, etc.) in same position but different rows. Can't please everyone.

Drops are too low to complete, so what's the point of having the event

Finished the event with 65 hours to spare. Put long grow crops in at night to boost drops. I have wonderful neighbours, who like me send drops. xD I enjoyed the races and mostly stayed on the top or the bottom, changing only to get all PF.
Wonderful graphics as usual. 10/10 from me BP.:D

Nice event, good graphics (goes without saying really) and crop requirements not bad. Although a lot of drops were required and some farmers feel they are a little low, there are not many farmers needing help (according to the SOS thread anyway). Prizes are good and it is great that we have the chance to choose which we prefer, even if the choice is sometimes hard to make! :p

All in all, a good, do-able event without too much stress. :)

Would have been a nice event if the drops were better ...4 drops to make one Bio fuel :wuerg: the amount of drops started off ok ... but now whatever i have tried doesn't seem to be making them any better ..have tried growing rosehips etc

Will put some refined carnations overnight ... but i wont hold my breath ...... don't think I will be getting to the finishing line in this event ... and I am on race 5:(

Well, after saying I wasn't going to do this event (after the last one had so few drops for me), I thought I'd give it a try. Once again, the drops were awful. I have my main field, meadow, glade with all crops (except for some workshops left on the main). I have the island and rain forest all with crops - pretty much crop fields galore. I'd get excited if I manage to get 8 or 9 from a field -- usually it's 3 to 6 (how sad is that?). In some cases, even though I always planted long growing crops, I got zero fuel cans on a field. Wait hours and hours just to make one XXL fuel, and then have to wait again.

I tried comfort plots, 1x1 plots, etc. -- no change. I spent a ton of crops upping my trophy -- no change. I moved my trophy around - I think I got less. With the harvester, without the harvester etc. It seems that unless you are a high level with access to chutneys, etc. or purchase your way through it, you just can't get far. Medium should be doable at my level -- but I've only finished the first 3 races (and that's working crops from beginning to end), and with little time left (and those long waits for a few fuel), I won't be getting anything worthwhile. It's like spending super grow to win super grow. Got a few baha wonder trees and 2 baha stables, but that's a lot of work for so little. And other than once, I never switched lanes -- but only managed to complete 3 races.

As a side note: The event crops can't even be dumped for the trophy now (which I did last time -- discovered that trick even before it was posted here recently). I guess posting tips like this might not be a good idea -- since after the recent posts about using event crops for trophy, they now have no value so you can't do it. Seems the developers jumped on that snag. Ah, well.

Overall, the last event was better and at least gave me a few decent rewards even though I couldn't finish that one either. And it's so frustrating to read people talking about how easy the event is and get 169 fuel, etc. on their first harvest - while I get 15 to 20 total from all fields if I'm lucky (I don't expect to get the same drops as someone at a high level, but there's a huge difference there). Medium level difficulty should be obtainable for someone at level 68 in the game. So for me, feedback isn't as glowing as some of those posted above.

Sorry for being so long-winded. On a positive, the theme was cute. Back to my regular scheduled farming...

p.s. I'm hoping to make it to the 5 wonder trees in race 4, but at this rate, it's not looking good. :/

It helps to get the trophies placed on the Tree of Wisdom because they affect all fields and drop chance is increased by 30%. Sounds like you are working on that but keep trying to get them placed there and upgraded (if they aren't at the top level yet).

I know how you feel about people saying they get those large drop amounts. I am at level 98 and I don't get the amount they get and the Howie Donut everyone brags about only increases by 5% -- maybe they have lots of them on each field. According to BP there aren't any buffs that increase drop rate at this time.

Do you mean the Living Legend at the top of the tree? I'm far off from that yet. I do plan on going straight up the middle first, but I have a long way to go to get there. Eventually..

And thanks for the response. I always think I must be missing something...but I believe I've tried it all (or at least what I can at my level), so good to know I'm not alone.

People say finishing the trophies gets you good drops ..finished that ages ago and haven't found that to be true

If it was I wouldnt be fighting now to get 23 drops to finish this event...maybe it was once ...but it certainly isn't now
Only thing you are certain to get drops from are magic trees

    jazzy,

Once you get to the top of the tree you can dump all your trophies in. Then the "supposed" drop rate increase is automatically in effect on all fields. Yeah!:D No more trophies to lug around and switching between fields to activate them. But be warned, it sure is difficult to get through the last few levels, as the requirements are SO high.:wuerg: I've read some farmers don't even bother with the last level.

I am level 93 and also am stunned by some folks' initial crop drop rates. I have one of those Howie donut thingies that I move from field to field, then switch between fields to activate (so I understand your trophy issues). Nope - still not gettin' 'em.-.- I think some higher level crops might be the answer, but who knows?

I knew going in on this one that I probably wouldn't get to the cloud row at the end, but really wanted to get a neon rabbit, which I don't have.:sleepy: I recently started race 5, but I'm only maybe 1/4 of the way through. Now I'm 2x2 fields and SGing everything, trying to get enough fuel cans to get to the neon pen. Think I will be beggin' and cryin' for a neon rabbit next gift & trade!

And I agree....being able to "hover" like a helicopter and get both top and bottom would be nice too.

I saw in like past 2 events the drop rate is , well has to be off.. It also really no longer supports low time crops or is this a chance we take? Sorry but if a low level player can play , they must be able to get the drops. otherwise its a no win for them... My lowest toon is level 73. Barely gets close to the CR's in these events. Maybe we got our levels crossed as to what level player can really do these events. As most I seen No one under 40 ever can.... I have planted all of the event crops right away on my other toons... they had lacked the drops so badly it was not even funny... Yes some of it was my fault for lack of being at farm time of harvest and lack of planting long term crop.... but was also checking low level crops out too. I still say the percentage of the drops needs to go up some... PLEASE. Or fix that tree. I have my trophies there and to me i see no change in drops. Tree has to be broken.
