Add friends to my side bar.

On the right hand side of my screen I have a slide out bar for my friends.
Is it possible to add my friends to this bar? I have friends I gift regularly that are not visible in that bar. I can not find any help searching 'friends list side bar' is there a name for it ?

You can add neighbors if you haven't reached the maximum number of neighbors. You can 18 neighbors (including yourself). Here is the FAQ for Neighbors to tell you how to add more. Your neighbor bar only shows 4 at a time but if you click on the bottom arrow, you can see all of your list.

Okay thank you. I have 15 (including myself) on my side bar. I accepted a new neighbour request yesterday and they do not show on my side bar.I do use my arrows to scroll down. I have read the FAQ for neighbours but can not see any way to manually add the new neighbour to my side bar. I understand now other all my friends must just be buddies and this is why they only show in the Post Office.

 

Hi feefeehoney. Buddies do make the best neighbors.
The bottom picture of a friend in grey(wearing a bow tie) is for adding neighbors. Click on that and 'invite friend' window comes up. Click on the circle of friends in the right corner and you can choose any of your buddies from the post office to join your neighborhood.
You can also send your buddies a message from the post office asking them to add you, if they have room in their neighborhood.

Okay thank you for your help. All this time I thought I had lots of Neighbours, but they are buddies and jolly good ones at that ! You can close the thread when you are ready.
