Mir - this is a wonderful idea! I don't know how to do it but would like to ask for December 24 and place in a tree. Solotime made some in the smileys thread and said we could use them. I can double check though to see if he would mind...

Birdsong - grr - This is a gentle grrr more like a purr. I wanted Dec 18 since it is my B-Day and I am turning -edit- . For some reason, -edit- sound so old. Oh well! No I am not picky since so many good things happen in December.

 

So... @PnP messaged me saying about the picture to add a Christmas tree.
And even the 2011 one which I used.... strangely last night when I called out to be next I did the same edit
without knowing like 20 hours later someone would come up with the same idea.

Also, the things @Pnp pointed out, anyone can use them.

I picked the 18th because it was my father's birthday! If you like, I will ask Mir if I can have another day and you can have the 18th.

 

I don't know how to add a picture, but I would like to try (would one of you image wizards bail me out if I get in over my head?). I would like the 14th, if possible!

 

Since it is an Advent Calender, it only goes to the 24th But we can definitely make it one of the other days Do you mean something like the nutcracker here? If you don't have a particular date in mind, I will leave it open for now.

solo - what can I say? Great minds must thing alike! I had no idea you wanted the Christmas tree too...I did see you claimed today. I I think it looks great! I picked 24 Dec since it is my birthday. However, I don't have another idea at this time....

 

Birdieaunt - You can keep the 18th. Your dad must be a fantastic person since he was born on the 18th. HeHeHe I think Mir has me down for the 4th which is OK with me.

I just think this whole project is sooooooooo much fun! Thanks Mir for all your hard efforts. I know how it can be to help this many people at once. Your are doing a great job.

I have been thinking about what to add-- I just don't know how to do it. What about lights around the windows or a wreath on the door? Or even some wrapped gifts? What do you think?

 

It is hard to say, since so few things have been added yet, but you have three weeks to think about it
