Again, my post was edited my a moderator ... and without explanation ... and what is the reason this time? Please explain.

August 19th in the the Hoedown thread!

I wish to skirt and follow the rules and avoid malicious action.

In the future, if you continue to nitpick my posts, will you be so kind as to save me the trouble of deleting that post and complete the task for me?

As long as I have the authority to delete a post I was written, once you choose to edit the post and it remains, I will delete that post. And I have already deleted the post in the Hoedown thread to save you the trouble this time.

Again, what was the reason this time for the edit?

Suggestion for you: You may take the quick action and delete any post of mine you fine in question and use the time saved to update the game faqs.

    ----edit---
I deleted the post you edited and edited my last post. (I do not feel deleting good information for others is a good action. You give me no alternative.) I sincerely hope the following edit to that post is satisfactory to you this time:

Post #31 was removed as it was edited by moderators and I found nothing wrong with the post or rule violated. I hope this deletion has not caused anyone confusion.

    Hello fishy_broke :)

Posts that are edited are done so in order to maintain the forum within the guidelines created by BP. Your post was edited. All content remained, but it was merged as you had double posted. As you are aware, double posting is grounds for the 2nd post to be deleted, but posts have been merged several times in that thread as a courtesy to help maintain content.

    May I assist you further?

    I did not double post!

You certainly may. Now it is up to you whether or not you will assist me further:

Are you able to simply delete my posts you take it upon yourself to edit?

By doing whatever it is you think you are doing, by editing posts (especially in a technical area), you are now making it extremely difficult to get good information over. And I, for one, do not appreciate the difficulty you are creating for me.

And you have failed to answer my question before.

Sincerely, may I assist you further?

As previously stated, no information was changed. All content remains. The posts were merged only.

To answer your question....yes, we have the authority to delete posts that need to be removed that are not in compliance with forum T&Cs. You may choose to leave your posts that you have written or you may delete it yourself. We do not delete posts that are within the forum guidelines so once a post has been edited to make it compliant, there is no reason for it to be deleted.

    May I assist you further?

fishy_broke...the moderators are busy people with lives outside the forum. Even when they are on the forum they have plenty to deal with re. questions, concerns, bullying and generally keeping an eye on every thread to ensure a civil and safe environment. They do not have the time to make unnecessary edits, and they are not going to go out of their way to change posts they don't need to change. They have no reason to want or need to change your posts if those posts are perfectly compliant with the rules. If they have made edits, it is out of necessity, irrespective of whether or not you personally believe you breached rules. The moderators are not at your every beck and call, and it may serve you well to speak to them in a more appreciative tone, rather than the bossy, nagging, demanding one I notice you have been using of late.

squiggle, you may stay out of this. You are not my intended audience. I am no sheep. And you certainly cannot assist me. There are perceptions of tone and there are misconceptions. Clear?

That moderator edited post has been deleted by me, handled.
You have answered what you have wanted to answer and not the question. I cannot help you.
I will take that answer and you will not delete and I will handle.
Thank you very much. I do not know all that you have done but I do know you have edited my posts, again I do not appreciate it.

You cannot. Thank you for your attempt.
