    The Alchemist trade will have a big improvement implemented! The Gnomes will be removed, but do not worry - nothing will be lost!

    A detailed FAQ will be posted tomorrow, the 16th of February, and the changes will go live on Thursday, the 18th of February!

    Howdy Farmers,

    Please note that if you access the Alchemist trade through the news advertising the removal of the Gnomes, you will experience some problems (missing buttons), however, if you access the building through the Artisan's Village, you can use it without any kind of problems.

    Howdy Farmers,

    As promised yesterday, today you can find out more about the Alchemist improvements that will be implemented on Thursday, the 18th of February.

    The new Alchemist FAQ can be found here.

    As soon as the changes are implemented, the Gnomes will be completely removed and the Alchemist will start working like all the other trades! Instead of placing Gnome Gardens on your fields, you will be able to 'eat' the products in order to activate their effect, and they will be displayed in the buff window. All the existing Alchemist buffs will use a Silver slot. Eating more than one crafting will extend the effect's duration.

    After the sync on Thursday, you won't be able to place Gnomes anymore on your fields, and a script will run shortly after that to exchange the leftover ones into ingredients. The Gnome Gardens that are not removed from your fields will be removed as well.

    Do not worry: No alchemist points or levels will be lost - your progress will be saved! The gnomes gardens and base gnomes will not be lost either - they will be exchanged to their ingredients!

    We hope you will enjoy this improvement and start using the Alchemist trade more and more!

    Howdy Farmers,

    To avoid any misunderstanding regarding the Gnome removal and refunds, here is an example:​

    Exchange of 1 Miracle Gnome
    If you have a Miracle Gnome (level 1 gnome) in your inventory, the following will happen:
    You will receive for the Miracle Gnome one Apprentice Gnome and 1 Miracle Tincture. You will keep the 1 Miracle Tincture (which will be a new final product). The Apprentice Gnome will be split up into 1 paint palette, 26 oyster mushrooms and 10 mandrake.

    So, 1 Miracle Gnome will be converted to: 1 paint palette, 26 oyster mushrooms, 10 mandrake and 1 Miracle Tincture.

    Final gnome gardens will be split into basic gnomes and the semi product (which will be a final product after the improvements are implemented). You will keep this old semi product which will be the new final product. The semi product gnomes will be refunded into your barn as resources that were used for crafting them.

    Howdy Farmers,

    It was communicated that gnomes on the playfield won't be touched - they were supposed to stay on the field and their buff to be active until it runs out or it is deleted manually. However, this has changed. A script ran and deleted the gnomes from the playfield, but the buffs are still running, the buff will not be deleted.
