Soon it'll be the year 2018 and the days will continue passing by. People and things will continue getting older and older just as well.

I have joined Farmerama back in like 2010 August. I fell in love with the game immediately and wanted to play it always. I had lots of fun and met many people from all over the world. They felt like family to me as we would share our daily things in life.

Now I am struggling to log-in on Farmerama anymore. I hate the way for how developers keep adding more animals, trees, crops, and different events.

Also my life has changed a lot in those 7 years of Farmerama. I'm married, I have new-born daughter, and I just bought a new car.

I'm at the point where I don't know if I should give up Farmerama forever. Or just try to play once a month. I don't want to regret giving up Farmerama like I do for giving up playing "Dark Orbit". I loved that game and miss playing it -_-

solo - Hi friend and fellow fisherman.;) You're at a stage of your life where you probably do not have much free time. Most of us have been there and understand the busy days of a new family. Please don't quit Farmerama. We'd miss you terribly....and I feel you would miss the game and your forum friends a bit as well.
Casually playing as you are now can be good too. I know this new company that bought BP is throwing a ton of new things in the game, but who says you have to have all the new, shiny, pretty things in the game right now? You've played a very long time. So you realize that everything becomes available(and at much cheaper prices) to those who wait.
Enjoy your new wife and daughter. These early childhood stages go by very quickly. You can get a giraffe or seal later(it doesn't really matter)....but your daughter's big milestones like walking & talking only come once. Treasure them....and take lots of pic's and videos.
The game and all of us will be here.....whenever you have an hour to virtual farm.:p

My children are grown & have left the nest. My hubby works like a maniac.....so now I have too much free time. I would jump at the chance to trade places with you and re-live my life with babies at home.:music: Well...maybe for a week. :wuerg:xDxD

Congratulations on your new daughter! Brookeham is SO right when she says enjoy your wife and child and come play on the farm when you can! RL passes by so quickly and if you miss out on something there is no "replay button"! The farm on the other hand can be played at your own speed, and yes if you miss something really it is no big deal as something else will come right along! So Solotime I do hope you come play when you can and don't give up your farm! I wish you and your family all the best!;)

Solotime it is always nice to see you:)
I have also started playing Farmerama in August 2010 but I always have played in my own pace. When I have school I rarely log in so I won't lose my neighbours but during summer I have time and I love playing and moreover I love coming here to post. I believe you should not give up Farmerama just play whenever you want. For me it has been a good escape from RL sometimes. Now you need to spend every minute with your new family but this forum feels like a good place to share your exciting news about your life, doesn't it?:)
2 and a half years to complete that decade of Farmerama, will you give up now?:p:music:
All the best wishes for your family:inlove:
Oh I want to ask, do you still fish?

    Hi Solotime :)
Wise words from Arielh, Brookeham and Sanddollar
You can always do comfort fields when real life is busy. Then come to the forum when you have time. We will be pleased to see you:)

Enjoy your baby and family. I used to just look at my children playing, trying to take in their every milestone. It is soon gone but you will have the memories to cherish. Cassie has a good thought - Comfort fields with your longest crop on. They will be there as and when you log in and there are No Weeds now!

Thank you everyone for your replies!

I'll try to keep playing but might only log-in once or twice a month.
My farm is all trees so I don't need to worry about weeds.

I'm going to sell everything I have in my barn. I plan to just liquidate it all and see how much CC I get in return.

Yes I agree with them too Solotime.... you can always visit here on your freetime.... which i do hope you do.... not many of us long time players still around..(even though new ones in the makings)..lol I would like to add though, I don't think selling all your items be a good idea.... but then again... it can be a wise thing... depends on how long you may be gone or and the way you look at things... mainly upon returning...kinda like me when i came back.... but i didn't sell my things..... i am still far from catching up....lol i am gettin there though...

as for new owners of BP. yes they keep adding things.... as we all have always been asking for more land.... now we have way more items then the land we have... i see one or two things will happen here... we will ethier get more land or and more buildings to put things in.... as the first free 3 buildings is just a tease.... and you only get 4 free slots from what i have seen so far...
As for harvesting all this mess.... I am sure hopefully by the time you do come back fulltime.... we will have faster better ways of harvesting everything...

No matter where the road takes you, you will be missed here for sure if you cant check in once in awhile... you know i have tried my best when i was gone for so long...right now i'm trying my best to stay this time.... even if i do have to cut my playing down some.... it be better then poofing again.... i hated that alot.... but life has its ways. You having a family now.... that's way far more important then a game.... you do that first, then here...

we will see you when we see you Solotime... i would like to say grats on having a family... a kid is special to us.. there may be times when you want alone time.. but there will be many times you wont want to trade for nothing... as its been said the kids grow up once... I wish you the best for you and your new family.... see ya again sometime Solotime :)

I am glad you are considering continuing with the game, so we can keep up with you! :D RL is always most important, so we all understand if you only pop in now and then. I would suggest leaving something in the barn, just in case you want to participate with an event if your time permits.
Delighted at the happy turn in your life and blessings on your new family!:inlove:

    Hello Solotime.
    Missed you.
I, too, am at such a point in my life. In fact, I've since scaled down on playing. Log in usually just twice a day. I've lost many friends who held my hand in my early days and find myself questioning whether I should go on or stop.
Saw an advert the other time, should be a UK betting advert, that said; When the fun stops; STOP.
I think for me the fun ended a long time ago. I cannot keep on chasing new products/stalls/crops/levels/fields etc. I've even stopped my Premium subscription and am in the process of using up my Harvester coupons. After that, who knows. It may be goodbye forever.
However, in the meantime I hang on. Just to see what happens next...

Bhodho is good that you haven't stopped playing. I think the advert quote was bad. You should not stop when the fun ends, maybe you can have a break and try it later, but stopping a game you have played so many years is a hard decision.

What a joy to see both Solo and Bhodo, our absentee president! :inlove: I've missed both your posts and presences here in the forum, and wondered how your new life was going, solo. Congratulations on your daughter, cherish your time with her and take lots of pictures and videos. She is magical, because she is your first ;). As for the game, it will always be here, or it won't, but it's just a game after all. I think many of us long time farmers are going thru the same ups and downs you are regarding too much new stuff in the game, etc. Enjoy the time with your family, gather each memory close, and have fun with all the firsts you get to experience (first Halloween coming up, first Christmas, first word, first step, an unending list of firsts). In no time it will be first date, first kiss, first boyfriend o_O, and you'll wonder where all the time went. If you feel like moseying around the farm and poking in the barn, do so without guilt, but don't feel guilty either for staying away for a while if you want to. Please, tho, come visit us in the forum once in a while, tell us baby stories, and just let us know you're okay so we don't worry about you ('cause we do when one of our family doesn't call home once in a while). Keep taking lovely pictures, keep catching fish (hey, you can get your girl her first fishing pole for Christmas! :D), and be well. :inlove:
