    I'm not seeing Alps quest popping out, is it still a feature?

    Have you finished both customers? At this stage there is only 2 characters available. They are accessable by clicking on the characters in the Village Square.

    Yes, I have finished both customers. Usually they reset and shows up with more tasks but I have not seen them in the Village Square.

    Village Square characters are like FSQs: different levels & requests and then they dissapear. Don't worry, we'll see them reappear at some point as new characters, I'm sure.

    I am unsure what happens if you have completed all tasks, they may appear again at some stage when you meet a certain requirement or you may need to wait till new ones are added.
