Hi, I had a quick search of the forum and could not find this suggestion.

It would be great if we had the option to stop receiving event drops. This would be a helpful option for when we have either: finished an event, only want to partially participate or not participate at all. It seems a "waste" to continue receiving event drops when they are no longer needed. This also depends on whether the event drops actually decrease the number of tool and artisan drops received.

If the event drops do impede on the tool or artisan drops, then this option would allow us to continue receiving the maximum number of the tool and artisan drops.

If this option isn't possible, then maybe the option of selling unwanted event drops at the market could be considered.

I don't agree, sorry. The event drops are exchanged at the end of the event for CC's and EP's! I don't want to miss that reward. I like how they are not wasted at all.

Although the surplus event drops are converted to cc's and ep's, it is usually for a very minimal amount. My suggestion is for the event drop stop to be an option - a player can make their own decision as to whether they wish to continue receiving the event drops until the end of the event. My query is whether the event drops take the place of tool and artisan drops (causing a lesser number of these), if they don't, then this option would not be needed.

The event drops are independent of other drops, so other drops are not decreased by receiving event drops :)

I misread the suggestion and was going to agree, but no -- I disagree.

I WOULD like a way to somehow either let my neighbors know I have enough drops, or because so many don't seem to speak English, have some kind of automatic way to stop donations of drops from others. (maybe something like when our gifts are maxed -- they would get a message saying "this person no longer needs drops, please send a different gift")

I see no gain from simply stopping the drops from coming on our fields. As Mir noted, the drop rate is independent of other rates, so it really is just a few extra CC/EP. While the loss is not a big deal for higher ups, it could be for those lower. More importantly, the extra programming time/server space would be better allocated elsewhere.

I too like the fact they are converted to cc and ep; even though a minimal amount it all adds up, especially with the number of events we have. So, sorry I have to disagree with this one too.
