I am very sorry my dear Mod's but I find it totally and completely alarming of Bigpoint to fire all their mod's off the German forum and refuse to translate the German discription of why they are fireing them and to instruct our Mod's to get involved any further.

I am trying very hard to not ask you to do anything that violates these instructions and I do not want to bother you or disrupt you anymore than the news and discussion already has but I would just like to ask. Can you please tell me where I can write Bigpoint and tell them how totally and completely unprofessional their conduct over this issue is?

Please understand I am not in any way unhappy with anything our Mod's have done in this manner. I am very sorry to ask you to do anything in this time of mourning. I just feel very strongly a need to hold the people who make money off this game accountable for their actions because I find their actions quite unprofessional and I really wonder if I want to ever spend another penny on this game if they think treating their volunteers so poorly and trying to sweep it under the rug and keep people uninformed, ignorant and refuse to let us understand the situation is acceptable.

I am really wondering if the German mod's sided with the players that the latest event was grossly unjust to throw out all the decimals and that's why the mods were fired. I really don't know. All I know is that how Bigpoint is deciding to handle this is not anything I want to support [spending money on a game is supporting]. So please, can you let me know where I can write to let them know how I feel.

Thank you very much, and again I am very sorry to bring this up, and I am sorry for the loss of your 'brothers in arms.'

    Dear d5aisy, :(

Please be so kind and do not jump to conclusions and do not overthink the situation :( What you stated is completely and totally far from the truth - I know and I understand that not being informed makes things even more complicated, but there is nothing we or you can do. All I can tell you is what I have Google translated - which is something you and everyone else can do. A feedback community post came a few hours later as well, mentioning that this decision was not taken by the Game Team so the Community Managers or our Producer cannot be held responsible - the decision being taken by the Language Managers (International Community Managers - responsible of teams over all the games, not involved directly in any game in particular).

The instructions of directing players to the DE Forum was not bad intended by the higher ups for sure :( Since this is something that concerns the German community in particular, not the game or the other communities, they probably want to protect all of us from dealing with something we have we are not involved in and should not carry this weight on our shoulders. Do not misunderstand me - this does not mean we do not care, because  oh, we do care - spending every single day with wonderful people, is impossible to not get attached to them , and this situation is extremely sad for everyone : players, old and new mods, other communities, management. Whatever they might have been, there must have been good reasons behind this decision which was not taken easily, lightly or fast - since it has a high impact on the community, the players, the game.

You are welcomed to contact the German support, in German or post in the discussion thread linked in the announcement :( . It is very kind of you to be supportive.

I apologise, but I will have to close the thread :( .
    Best regards,
    teddy.bear
