People spend a lot of time complaining about how the game isn't 100% perfect all the time. I know I'm not the only one who thinks that the development team works exceptionally hard and can't be blamed for issues that are a) outside of their control and/or b) cannot be predicted or solved ahead of time.
It has been saddening me recently that people seem so willing to whinge and moan about a team that has brought us so many wonderful things and works tirelessly to solve that which doesn't go right. Especially around Christmas time, but really all year round, we should be thanking them for the work that they put in and the effort they go to every day to bring us the wonderful game that it is. No, it is not without it's glitches and it's bugs and it's errors, but it is a wonderful game and a testament to Farmerama and it's dev team that so many players who joined in the game's first months are still here playing with us today.
I thought that now is as good a time as any - with Christmas around the corner and with more players than ever complaining about the glitches that our wonderful dev team rush to fix - to make an appreciation thread for the people we don't see, yet wouldn't survive without.
Please feel free to post here anything you wish: notes of thanks, fond memories of past developments, or even a laugh over a particularly catastrophic glitch.
Please, let's not forget to thank from the bottom of our hearts everyone who works on the dev team.

*Mods: If you know any way to pass these messages on, or if there's a way for us to send them on ourselves, please could you let us (or me) know? Thanks!

    From me:
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone on the team for the work they put towards building the game from the ground up. It is your programming and your efforts that allow me to breed my animals and plant my crops and do everything in between. I've come and gone to this game so many times over the past 4+ years but each time I've returned I've loved the game and that's because of you.
Secondly, I'd like to thank you for all the times you've worked so hard to fix things that you could never have expected. Whether that's an inability to log in or a rascally missing stocking, you've gone to so much effort for something I and many others (unfortunately not all) recognise is not your fault - and then reimbursed us. So thank you.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and can relax a little over this holiday season.

I would like to thank who ever in the Dev team who thought of giving the Elephant on the train a Santa hat! What a nice and seasonal touch ;)

And also the biggest Gingerbread cookie to Teddy. Thank you for being here!

It saddens me deeply that such a wonderful thread cannot stay civilised, so it will now be closed. Repeated posts have been deleted for being inappropriate and reposted - so it makes no sense to play the Forum Police role.

Thank you very much for your kind words, hatzeva, and for the Gingerbread.
