Are EP's being miscounted on clock?

ID# 50838203 I have been watching how many ep's I get from each field and written them down. However when I add those up, I is different than what my clock counter says-a diff of 633 ep's and no, I am not adding in the ".8" or whatever it is, just the whole number. I will not be amused if I miss the 1st level bc of a clock miscalculation

I am now up to a difference of 900 ep's. I will make it but that's not the point As I have only about 9 hrs left on my clock I will patiently await for a reply

I am happy you will make it and I know (to quote) "that's not the point" - and I wish I could have gotten a clarification on this matter earlier, but the question has been responded to with silence since before noon when it was asked. I have bumped it now and hopefully we have a clarification on this matter early in the morning.

In the mean time, this is what I know and what I have explained to puppiesnponies as well in a related thread:

The decimals are not added to the event counter, and this applies to each plot individually, not to the total amount.

Here is an example ( I think I had the Dragon pet activated ):

1 Cube Watermelon gave me 62.4 EP but only 62 EP were counted for the event step
For 44 plots of 2x2 it would be 44 x 0.4 = 17.6 EP. For 202 small plots (or so), with many buffs, the difference would be higher.

The day is over and the question has not been answered yet. What I can tell you is that this appears to have happened during Comic 6 as well (but I cannot confirm this 100% because I am unable to verify it). Whether this is intended (I doubt it) or a bug, or if it will or will not be fixed - I will tell you tomorrow after I have a clear statement from the Game Team.

The Game Team confirmed that the decimals of EP amounts harvested from each plot are not counted for the first step of the event, I am really sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The FAQ will be updated shortly with this information.

You are not understanding me. As I said, I know the decimals were NOT added. That wasn't my problem. It was the clock timer, you know, the clock that is adding your ep's up. Here is one example of what I mean: clock was showing 4650, field 4560 total 9210 but my clock showed 9050. Next field 4149, add that to 9210=13359.(that's what it should have been) but even if you add 4149 + 9050=13199, my special clock showed 13004. Can you tell me what numbers are getting added together to come up with that??? I could go on if you would like. This has me wondering about the event that I missed the bear stable by 790 ep's. Who know's, maybe I did have enough and the stupid clock wasn't adding correctly then either

You did not mention such a huge difference in your initial post - the 900 EP could have been lost due to the individual decimals lost. I do understand you, and now that you have given these specific examples I see the problem you experience is different : you harvest and switch fields too fast, so at the top of the screen, you will see the previous amount harvested from the other field as well. You do not get 4149 EP from one field and 9210 from the other, but 4149 from the first one and 5061 from the second one, adding up to a total of 9210. The amount added on the clock will be slightly less, due to the decimals not added - which is intended and it is how it is supposed to work.

I am sorry you have missed the stable, I do understand your frustration, but I do not appreciate your attitude .

Hi teddy, sorry to interfere, but I can see there is a misunderstanding here, by both parts

What julie claims (really hope I got this right ):

• The event counter was showing 4650
• Harvested one field with total 4560
• Harvested second field with total 4149
• Add all together we get: 13359
• But the event counter only shows 13004
• That is a difference of 355 EP

Julie, this was explained correctly in teddy's first answer to you. You said you didn't add the decimals, but I think you meant for the whole field. Example: The EP for the whole field is 4560.8 and you don't add the .8 but only the 4560. (Did you edit your first post? I thought you had included an example like this.)

What teddy explained is that the decimals for each individual plot is not counted:

Example: You have 450 plots, each give 19.8 EP, but instead of getting 450*19.8, you get 450*19, and you loose 450*.8=360 EP​

Which explains the difference you saw

I apologize for the attitude teddybear. I should have read your reply several more times before responding but sometimes I have a hard time understanding it until it slaps me right in the face. I realized what I was doing wrong but I was busy harvesting and wanted to finish that first and by the time I got back here you and Mir(thank you) had replied already. I'm going to go eat my crowpie now.... Once again I apologize(and there is a post in game strategy from me about this and I would really appreciate it if you could delete it)

No need to apologise, and no need to delete any posts - it's been a stressful situation for everyone these days, and it is normal to be frustrated and react impulsively at times . Regarding your missed event completion, I would advise you to contact Support, to see if there is anything they can do to help you. ​
